"We had the NYE prix fixe dinner. The whole production seemed like a casual restaurant trying to do haute cuisine--they just don't know how to do it. First app was a truffled deviled egg--delicious. This was followed by cream of crab soup--excellent soup, clumps of crab meat. Seafood plate was mixed. Stone crab had been cracked so that you could not possibly get all the meat out of the claw. Shrimp was quite fresh, but cocktail sauce was extremely thick--was it fresh? Oysters were delicious. Main course was duck. Meat was served in about 1-inch cubes. Hard to tell how it was cooked. Duck was tough, and skin was not crisp. Sauce had flavor, but was weak. This was served with brussels sprouts that were very well cooked. For dessert, we had cheesecake and apple crumble. The apples were not fully cooked, and the cheesecake was still frozen and not particularly tasty when it did thaw. When dinner is $125 per person, plus service, a paper napkin is not acceptable, and drinking wine from a plastic glass is not acceptable either. Service was by young people who apparently had not been trained, which could be simply because the restaurant usually serves more casual fare. The service was not up to par, left us without eating utensils twice during the meal, and tended to bring new dishes before we finished the previous course."

Wow! This was our first time dining at the Comus Inn, and it was fantastic. The food was excellent, and the service was impeccable. We particularly enjoyed our table visit from Chef David and Jennifer, who truly made our experience special. We look forward to enjoying the beer garden in the near future!

Our first time at this restaurant. We wanted to try something different for New Year’s Eve. Forced to purchase a pre fixed menu at $125 per person. I don’t do appetizers or dessert but was forced to pay for it. They never posted this on their website so it was a total surprise! Too late to make other arrangements. They did not take into court food allergies or diabetics. The food was ok, nothing special so not sure about the price gauging! We won’t be back. View menu

Food is absolutely wonderful!!! Hostesses, and majority of wait staff could have improvement in conveying hospitality to ALL who come. To pay the high pricing at this establishment and feel uncomfortable at any point in your visit is not ideal for return visit. As a foodie and chef enthusiast was a pleasure to see the signature chef in person. He was beyond polite and hospitable. Our assigned waitress, started off rocky but was very kind and did go above and beyond. We enjoy fine dinning during holidays, this was our first time at Comus Inn. I have waited so long to dine here.

The ambience is great. Such a cute place! Prices are high considering nothing comes with a side. Wanted the blt but I don't need a pound of bacon EVER and for $26... that was a hard no. Wanted the wedge salad... they didn't have it. Got the bagel and lox. Average at best for $17. The veggies were cut way too thick... you have to unhinge your jaw to eat it. For $17, you can do better. Service was eh. We were served by the bartender. We ordered a glass of wine, mimosa and a martini. It took 20 minutes. Maybe it was her first day. And your Baileys should be refrigerated...PLEASE! Food took a lot of time... there was only 4 tables seated at the time. Tried to get dessert... was told the kitchen...
