"The staff was always friendly and attentive. Our main dishes were excellent, particularly the filet and Chilean sea bass. However, some of the other dishes did not meet the same standard. The sautéed spinach was bland, and the steak, although hot, seemed undercooked. Overall, our experience was moderate. The restaurant was adorned with some paintings, and there was an interesting atmosphere during our visit."

"Hands down some of the best Italian I’ve ever had! We had a group of Combat Veterans in town for a convention and we happened to stop by and we loved it so much we had to come back before we left! The bread they serve is delicious! The food portions are large enough you could share. My husband and I shared the ravioli emiliani. I am in LOVE with this dish. I couldn’t get enough. The creamy sauce is like heaven. Kudos to the chef! Everyone at our table loved their food as well. We had a question on our bill and spoke to the owner. She was absolutely amazing. I cannot say this enough! The caliber of customer service she provided you don’t see these days and I am thankful we met such a kind soul. If you are ever in Rochester MN. Stop by, you won’t be disappointed! Oh.. and eat a bit of those rolls for me!"

"I had been turned off by a few people because I LOVE prime rib. I had just heard great things about the restaurant. Unfortunately the whole experience was disappointing for us. We had reserved at the open table and requested a stand. When we got there, the hostess didn't confirm our reservation when we told her we booked them online and still got us to a table. She was our waitress and was pretty good. The drinks were well made but small for the price. We ordered the prime rib. I got the girls cut and my husband got the kings cut which is about a $ 20 difference in price. When they came out, they were exactly the smaller portion I ordered in length and thickness. We ordered medium rarity (which it came off like), but it had no flavor and was extremely tough. If there's one thing I love almost as much as prime rib, it's ranch dressing. It was chunky and tasted terrible. (and no, it wasn't blue cheese) To get our USD 100 bill at the end of our meal, we were both utterly disappointed with the entire meal. The quality did not reflect the cost."

"I haven't been to Chelo for years because I moved. I had to stop when I realized it was about a mile from a car dealer I wanted. I wasn't disappointed. My waitress Shaynah was very familiar with the menu and made great suggestions. They had great drinks specialties and the food was delicious, just like I remembered. The manager even stopped at my table to make sure everything was as expected. If you're too full after dinner, take a dessert home. They're delicious."

"Located in the heart of Havertown right off of Darby road, Sophie's BBQ provides a quiet location to enjoy staple BBQ cuisine with a creative twist. My girlfriend and I started with the hand cut fries tossed in their homemade cheese sauce, and an order of the brussels sprouts. Fries were crispy and seasoned well, and we both agreed that the brussels sprouts were a must-order. Pickled jalapeños and candied bacon brings to life what can otherwise be a relatively bland dish. For main courses, we opted to split a few items: BBQ Sandwich (pulled pork) was tasty and we enjoyed the seeded bun. Pork was a bit on the dry side and I could've done with some more sauce to compensate but overall, great flavor. Side of beans was a nice touch- with a slight coffee taste, they are unique to most bbq beans that I've had previously. BBQ platter was a great choice if you are interested in trying a few sides. We went with the half pound of brisket, coleslaw and mac and cheese. Brisket was smoked to perfection with marbled fat that melts away in your mouth. Eat it while it's hot! You definitely pay for what you get though; Don't forget your wallet Friendly service and a filling meal left us more than satisfied, and we will certainly be back soon!"

"I made reservations online for 6:15. A credit card is required to hold the reservation and there is a fee for no-shows. It was not very crowded on a Monday evening so I was able to park easily. Although I arrived on time, the restaurant was short-staffed so there was a short wait. I was worried this would ruin my night, but I was pleasantly surprised. Once we were seated, our waitress greeted us and took our drink order. To my surprise, the drinks arrived quickly. The food was served promptly with the right amount of time between courses. While Chelo's is not my favorite restaurant, I have to admit that tonight was not bad."

"The entrance was a little confusing as we had to walk though the spa and down and up several steps. You get to look down on the spa on the way in and see folks lounging around as well as feel the steam rising. It made me nostalgic for an onsen. We sat in a cafeteria style room with several tables. We were the only customers. The waiter brought menus and gave us a few minutes to order. He was really helpful by making suggestions based on our questions. We went with the Greek salad, beef tongue, Kiev style pelmeni, and lamb skewers. The tongue came first which was very tender and was even better with the grated horseradish. We also ordered beer to accompany the meal which were big (16oz? . I really enjoyed the Greek salad, especially the basturma little strips of deliciousness. The Kiev pelmeni was baked with dumplings, mushroom and cheese/cream on top. It was good but some parts of the dumpling were hard and needed to be rolled around in the sauce to soften. The lamb was the only dish we didn't love. It was a bit tough and didn't have much seasoning. Aside from the lamb, it was a solid meal."

"Due to the poor quality of the food and the laughably bizarre experience I need to share mine and my friends experience at the cotton patch. I have eaten at the restaurant before and absolutely enjoyed my previous experience, but after the last I will more than likely never return. Our server was nice and polite so no complaints in that department. The issue comes in the food and management areas. We were a party of 3, I ordered a burger medium rare, my friends ordered a 6 oz steak well done and a chicken fried steak. When we received our food my friend's steak she had ordered was very rare, she sent it back due to not liking rare steak. My burger was cooked to a charcoal briquette which is absolutely not how I like my food prepared. I did not send my food back due to the simple fact that it is now taboo and frowned upon to cause any slight amount of trouble for food employees, now we didn't make a scene and we were polite the entire time, laughing and attempting to have a nice evening. The largest issue comes from my 3rd friend's meal, the chicken fried streak, after attempting to eat it, he discovered that the cook had not taken the paper off the steak before frying it! I know it is hard to believe that is why I have a picture of it attached to this review. We still at this point were very polite and kind, we spoke to who I assume to be the manager, as she was the first one we could speak to, she took the plate and had another one made for him. At this point we were still not upset, we finished our meal and were getting ready to pay for it, the manager had decided due to our poor experience they would give us free dessert. So together paid over fifty dollars for three meals and two appetizers, we also still tipped, nothing was comped or discounted, and that was the end, when we left, we were going to split up the free dessert they had given so generously, only to find a single slice of carrot cake. I mean when I say if I could give it zero stars I would, but I guess I'll be generous as well and give them one single star."

"It’s been a really long time since I have gone to a Polly Pie’s, so when my husband drove by it he insisted we drop in and have lunch and I am so glad he did. My mom and I used to come and have mom and daughter date lunches together when I was a young child. I absolutely loved this place growing up. They have a great food selection and the service is always very good. Our waitress Tamera was absolutely amazing and so good with my youngest daughter and made her feel very special. She was courteous and friendly and always had a smile on her face. She made us feel like longtime friends and was so cheerful and prompt with her service. This was definitely the highlight of the restaurant was the customer service provided by her. I wish this was the way most restaurants treated their customers, as it was a huge part I am giving them a 5 star review. The food of course was as good, as I remember it as a child. I had a Salisbury steak with mashed potatoes, southern styled green beans and a roll. My hubby got the Philly cheesesteak and fries and my little girl went all out and got a big bowl of fruit and a milk. The best part about the steak was it was a great size portion and not one of those little thin patties you’ll sometimes get, so I was very happy to see them giving a generous portion of meat. Potatoes obviously one of my favorite sides was amazing and just the right amount of gravy and the green beans, spectacular. If you ever haven’t tried southern green beans, go try them. They are amazing! I make them at home all the time with my family and all 8 kids we have from ages 2-23 years love them. Anyways, as far as cleanliness, they do a very impressive job with making sure the restaurant was kept clean, even though I believe they may have had a car hit the side of their building. I didn’t think too much about that though, as it is in Hemet and Hemet doesn’t always have the best people living there. Besides, it looked like they were almost done with restoration and they were doing an amazing job keeping everything clean and tidy. I only mention this though, as if you follow my review and go try the food yourself you may wonder why that wasn’t mention. I’m telling you though from the looks of how many people where their having lunch’s and breakfast, no one seemed to mind at all and neither did I. Can’t blame them for someone else’s mistakes. I’m just keeping my eyes on what and how they did. Prices to are very reasonable and that is always appreciated. All in all, definitely making this my come to spot and maybe make it my daughters and I regular attendees of this establishment. Thank you all for making this stop a pleasure!"

"We do not live in Rhode Island and had never heard of Chelo's before but after reading all the positive reviews we decided to give it a try. We went to Chelo's on Saturday at 5:00 PM, there were 17 people in our party. We were seated in a private room that was very clean and inviting. Our server, Reagan, was exceptional! She was pleasant, professional, attentive and efficient! This young woman handled our large party like a Pro! The appetizer samplers were very good as was everyone's meals. The portions were large and the temperature of each meal was perfect. Kudos to the entire team at Chelo's in Providence! The Manager, Joe, has a great team of people who are laser focused on providing exceptional customer service. Thank you for a wonderful dining experience and a special thanks to Reagan for a job well done!"

"To get to our table required a walk all the way thru the restaurant to seating at the far end of the dining room. It was nice and quiet back there. We noticed how much louder it was in the area around the bar and nearer to the main entrance as we left. We were glad they seated us where they did. The food was delicious that's why we had returned. I would recommend getting a reservation on line is very easy to do. The first time we ate there was a Monday evening and seating wasn't a problem. This last time was a Friday night and we were were glad to have a reservation."
