"I made reservations online for 6:15. A credit card is required to hold the reservation and there is a fee for no-shows. It was not very crowded on a Monday evening so I was able to park easily. Although I arrived on time, the restaurant was short-staffed so there was a short wait. I was worried this would ruin my night, but I was pleasantly surprised. Once we were seated, our waitress greeted us and took our drink order. To my surprise, the drinks arrived quickly. The food was served promptly with the right amount of time between courses. While Chelo's is not my favorite restaurant, I have to admit that tonight was not bad."

Food was good, service was excellent and fast. Prices were reasonable as well. The meatloaf dinner and the NY strip steak were very good.

This local restaurant is fantastic. They have kids' meals and appetizers half off on Sundays, which is a great deal. The atrium when you first walk in is really cool, decorated with old items along the top. The seating by the windows is also very nice. The servers were all friendly and quick. I highly recommend trying the mozzarella sticks!

Chelos is Rhode Island’s answer to chain dining such as Applebees, TGIF, chili’s etc, although Chelos does it better. The menu is all American, food is great and affordable. The ambiance is, well, pretty similar to the chains mentioned above. Service wise Chelos does it very well. Well worth a visit if you are passing through or staying in one of the many airport hotels near by. View menu

The food was delicious, although a bit soupy at the bottom. I was hoping for more of a pesto sauce as stated on the menu. There were many appealing options, especially the summer and vegan menus which offered a variety of interesting choices. I also enjoyed a refreshing summer drink which was not shown in the picture. The prices were a bit high, but I would definitely consider returning.

there were seven of us, we have our food. my man found paper in his eating. So we ate and my man had to wait to get another dish to eat, and the man in the service did nothing for my men inconvenience and was rude about it because nobody on their staff let them know that everything was happening. she didn't do anything she should have done and wasn't rude about it. never. will go to the airport near the airport greene. the manager was just rude. we have held our annual women's service here on 24 september 2022 (we have long been). the employees and the management of chelo were amazing? they honored 2019 event contract(reference, eat and options). they were excellent. the young waiting and hosting staff were great! they were present, courteous, pleasant, great personalities and for everything. whatever help, eqipment setup they were up. we were not low, had to wait for fresh food or drinks. excellent work and service chelo’s post rd! gott bless?

I have come to live my whole life at different places too mischievous. eating is good, but the prices have risen a lot. so I was recently delivered with an experience in the cash. I order 2 of their half-price apps and my friend had a escape. we had some cocktails. I asked the bartender if I could get 2 small boxes so that we can both take a potato skin and a small quesadilla home. we ate most of them. I was told we shouldn't take them off. Seriously smiling? the bill was $70. what would they have done with my left? bad policy and bad customer service at the providence chellos

"We have been coming here for 28 years. I brought my kids here I brought my grandkids here and my mother-in-law and father-in-law live down the street quarter mile. The last few trips to Rhode Island we were unable to get to Iggy's so it's been a couple of years. We ordered the fish and chips, we ordered red chowder, white chowder and of course clam cake. To say our hearts broke is an understatement. The clam cakes used to be full of clams and had odd shapes because they were hand dropped.. these look definitely balled up like meatballs; like they were shaped.. if not frozen and then reheated. Hardly any clams in the clam cake. My husband was excited when he found one clam chunk; sarcastically excited. I remember boasting about how you could stick a spoon straight up in the chowder..not this one it was runny and watery and disgusting. It didn't even taste like clams it tasted like potato soup..barely. The red chowder wasn't even red it was like a mix between clear and red but someone decided to throw in three little canned tomato pieces. The baked scallops were soggy and disgusting and the french fries, even though I know they come frozen, we're nothing to boast about either. The fish n chips disappointed. It used to be a fish that barely fit in the container and now it's a fish that could fit in one side portion of the container. The baked scrod was not bad but it just looked ick. Iggy's threw a small piece of fish in with some squishy side vegetables and some rice pilaf that look like it came out of a bag premade. All of the lemons they gave us were disgusting and smelled like soap and were oily; so we had to throw them out. The only pictures I could take was right before my husband dumped it all down the sink. We had guests for lunch who had never had Iggy's and we must have boasted and boasted about it for hours before it arrived. We spent well over $240 on this order and I feel like we got ripped off big time by Iggy's. We will not come back anymore. I can understand the price hikes and I can understand the economy but I cannot understand changing recipes that made this place famous. I now feel 100% confident that my white chowder is better than theirs any day of the week. And that is something that I would never have said over the two plus decades we have been coming here. Is so sad when a childhood memory turns into an adult nightmare. Do better Iggy's... Just do better. Economy be damned don't screw with the chowder and the clam cakes. After all that's what made you famous and that was the original menu. -Sad and disappointed, Local Oakland Beacher. They're so-called red chowder is picture here and my mother-in-law sink. I should have just set my money on fire."
