"Your meal IS your Server. They can make it or break it and our Server was terrible. No personality, No welcome, no Happy Thanksgiving . We felt if your that upset 3:30pm why did you take this job? Dont you work for tips? We received cutlery, 5 minutes after meals were served, the food was luke warm and the apple pie was literally served in pieces not resembling a triangle pie cut. A sloopy, non caring holiday meal for $160 and like fools we tipped $40 so we paid $200 for this abuse. Thanks Claim Jumper!!"

"We dine here for lunch after exploring Gatlinburg for the day. It was a nice refuge from the heat. The ambiance was great and staff was friendly and accomodating. We tried their 1 pound ribeye and the ribs platter. All were cooked to our liking and the sauces (bbq for the ribs and peppercorn for steak) complemented them well. Our entrees came with unlimited salad bar and we were delighted by the spread of vegetables. The staff ensured it was cleaned and refilled. Highly recommend to dine in this place when visiting Gatlinburg."

"We dined here for the first time and absolutely loved it! The ambiance is beautiful, and the service was outstanding. The steak was cooked exactly how I requested, which is a big deal for me. Additionally, I'm quite particular about pie, but the key lime pie was delightful. I also appreciated that we didn't have to waste time searching for a parking spot—they handled it for us. Overall, I rate this restaurant five stars!"

"Greetings The group got together and we went out to The Troff this evening as a party of six. The place is a cozy place (not really setup for larger parties like ours but we made the best and sat at the bar. We had Andrew taking care of us and he did a great job! If you follow our reviews you will see that we review and score our restaurant visits based on the same criteria for each. "After enjoying lunch at this restaurant, I've come to the conclusion that it's an excellent spot for classic DC dishes at a reasonable price. Unlike other eateries that charge over $15 for a piece of fish—even if it's in a sandwich—this place keeps its prices affordable by offering a simple menu. For example, their platters are under $15, and sandwiches, like the crab cake sandwich, are capped at $11.50. During lunchtime, the line can get a bit lengthy, but it's definitely worth the wait. I decided to try their crab cake sandwich, which was served on a fresh roll with all the toppings, along with a side of coleslaw. I even had my father, who usually dislikes crab, take a bite, and to my surprise, he enjoyed it and ended up eating half of my sandwich! We both found the crab meat to be fresh and not overly seasoned or salty. It was flavorful and satisfying. Now, not only does my father have a reliable spot in the city to return to, but so do I!"

"Well .. I must admit .. I hate giving a negative review .. And I seldom do .. But this situation is above beyond the norm...And I have to give You heads-up... I really wanted to like support this place .. But as You know: The Universe helps those who helps themselves... Okay .. My son called asked if I would like to order again ..So I asked him to see if they would give more Short-Ribs than before...Nonetheless .. Long story short .. They said: It would cost an extra $26 for more Short-Ribs... I immediately told my son to forget it... Guess you know .. They were going to give him another dinner with another small piece of Short-Rib...And again .. I would end up with all those sides with hardly any meat...Back to square-1...No-Thank-You...I'm good... No to mention: The food is not all that good... To be perfectly honest .. The Short-Ribs were too salty .. The Gravy is not good as well...I just tried to give them the benefit of the doubt... Also ... My son purchased breakfast it was horrible...The Grits were terrible a Biscuit that was as hard as a Rock... Basically .. Soul-Food is not their thing...Nor is customer-service... However .. You can try this place if you'd like .. Perhaps .. Your luck will be better than ours... But I am a Done-Deal..."

"Really an enjoyable dinner experience! Quality food, good value wine with good service. The menu is interesting and everything we had was well executed. The only reason I’m not giving Marker 32 five stars for food and ambiance are admittedly pretty marginal. As far as ambiance its just a shame that such a beautiful setting on the water doesnt offer any alfresco dining. Would be spectacular! As far as food, my entree was a standing special with hoppin john and dirty rice offered with fresh catch of the day. The seasoning was not optimal and although very good to eat, it lacked some seasoning that could have made it outstanding. My wife ordered the other special with a different fresh catch and THAT meal was a 5 star meal. Interesting and very delicious."

"We were at at wedding this past Saturday that was catered by Werners. The food was terrible. Chicken was soggy and flavorless. The potatoes appeared to be weathered down and flavorless. The green beans lacked flavor but kinda tasted like dirt. The best part of the meal was the salad but the ranch dressing was watery as well. The only reason I gave them 2 star is because I had to click one to leave a review. I'm hoping they refund some of the money to the couples money because the food was a complete embarrassment. I didn't speak to one guest who liked it."

"I have eaten at Iron Griz numerous times in the past, and have enjoyed my experiences there... Unfortunately, I am writing this after attempting to share a meal with family who were in town, and I wanted to take them to IG. Their website said they were open, but I wanted to call just to make sure; however, the phone number listed for them (website and facebook) wasn 't helpful--just rang and rang, and then a computer voice picked up and asked me to enter a PIN (no message). So, I figured since the website indicated 'open ' and I was able to make/confirm a reservation through Open Table, the odds were in my favor. Nope. The restaurant was closed when we arrived, reservation confirmation notwithstanding. Very disappointing."

Last time I went here I did not really see all vegan options, but long before I was vegan they had really good food and service and I hear it is still the same. the problem is, however, that they will always wait and sometimes it is a very long wait and the people will be happy to wait. "A local friend recommended this restaurant because of their red beans, sausage and rice and catfish. They did not disappoint. We dined in and had a very friendly server. From the tempting menu we instead chose a tasty crawfish étouffée and meat pie (flaky crust and lots of filling platter with dirty rice, each served with a fresh side salad, and great tasting iced teas. This was a very good and filling lunch! A bit more costly but definitely worth it! We did ordered the catfish and red beans, sausage and rice with bread pudding to go for our local friend!"
