"A local friend recommended this restaurant because of their red beans, sausage and rice and catfish. They did not disappoint. We dined in and had a very friendly server. From the tempting menu we instead chose a tasty crawfish étouffée and meat pie (flaky crust and lots of filling platter with dirty rice, each served with a fresh side salad, and great tasting iced teas. This was a very good and filling lunch! A bit more costly but definitely worth it! We did ordered the catfish and red beans, sausage and rice with bread pudding to go for our local friend!"

Don't bother on a Sunday. Sat for 10 minutes, and nobody bothered to even take a drink order. I'm from the greater New Orleans area, and I won't return here.

We dined here for the first time today while visiting from Bossier City. The food was excellent, and the service and atmosphere were also top-notch. We will definitely return.

I believe Audrey was my waitress ,she's been there 24 years. But I have to say she was probably one of the best waitresses I've ever had. Her service and caring toward me was amazing. The food was delicious, I got the Church Street Salad.

We had the seafood potato, which they are known for and it did not disappoint! It was covered in crawfish etouffe and topped with hand-breaded, jumbo, shrimp! Was delicious! We also tried the chicken salad, was too sweet for me but my friend liked it. Our server Jules was the sweetest and very attentive. We will be back!Parking: Very limited parking

Food portions were small as well as the crab cake and fish was clearly frozen before hand and warmed up earlier in the day then put in the microwave for us to eat. The place was over priced for hardly any food as well as food that wasn't fresh. Wouldn't recommend coming here if you are looking for good food. The only thing that was good was the demon burger. This charming restaurant features crisp white tablecloths that are replaced after each guest. The atmosphere is delightful, making it a perfect spot for lunch. I highly recommend the shrimp-stuffed potato—it's absolutely delicious! The service was excellent; our server, Andrea, was particularly attentive and friendly. I wholeheartedly recommend Merci Beaucoup!!!

"We came in for dinner on 4/6/2024. Tome was 6:30ish. There was no waiting, however we wanted to sit outside so we took a table in the dining area closest to the street in tge corner table and waited for an outside table. Our waitress was a new young lady, who was trying very hard but was not trained and was totally lost. We ordered our meal and told Lili that we were going to be moved outside. She said no problem. At this point we should have gotten up and left. We actually talked about the tv show that could cone into this restaurant and turn it around. I could see the bar and the front door and the door going out to the deck from my seat so I watched as another couple came in and were taken out to the deck with no wait. So, i went to tge checkin and said that we were going to wait in the bar( hightop table next to main front door) till our table was ready. We still hadn’t gotten our water so we just sat and waited. This is when I saw a man who was sitting with a woman just to the right side of the singer come in from his table to talk to the bartender. She made him a cocktail for his companion in a martini glass that was a bright blue color. She said no charge and he handed her a single bill as a tip. At that point we had our water and noticed that there was 2 tables outside on tge deck, however the hostess(s) never came to seat us, so i went and asked again. He said sure you can go out and we did. I told him to let our waitress know. We sat at the lower deck under the tree(great seat) with a view of the river. It wasn’t very long before our meals arrived. However my husband had ordered a salad and it never came just our meals came. He ordered tge chicken breast that cane with steamed broccoli and it had fried okra. Both of us told tge waitress we did not have any silverware and she said she would get some. We each started with the okra and we both got stems stat we had to spit out. Still no silverware so I went inside, asked the hostess for some, he had one set and had to go into tge kitchen to get the 2nd. I could see several of them laughing when they handed him the silverware. Then we ate our meals, fair food, maybe a 2 or 3 out of 10. Never got a check so we left and I went to the bar to pay. They had to track down, Lili and then I had to get the salad charge of $4.00 removed. I paid the bill and tipped Lili 25% because she was not the problem. This restaurant had no manager that I could see and no adult supervision ir guidance. The bartender was the most seasoned person on deck and she was not helping anyone other than making drinks. We found out from a shop down the street that this restaurant is getting ready to close up permanently and it is understandable why. It was a nice place with the best setting in town and is no longer ran well or has even standard food. The owners should be ashamed of what they have done to run it into the ground."
