"After enjoying a visit to the McCormack's on Robinson and after hearing good reports from friends at an event at the Regency location, we arranged to meet a group of friends at the Big Whisky. The food is fabulous, from the vegan BBQ to the bronzino inventive, well done, and good value. The drink list is extensive. The interior is well finished; although the location is questionable (cheap, I guess? . The service, as mentioned in other reviews, was really not good. Our server was well intentioned, I believe. But not equipped for a party of 10, even though we made up about half of the number of patrons in the whole (large! restaurant for the evening. These days, nothing else will bring me to Regency so the experience needs to be pretty great to make me want to come back. And I just don't feel we got that. (Although there were menu items that I would still like to try!"

"Awesome food, great service.Highly recommend the steak, crab cake (they use no fillers), and the seafood salad you'll be amazed at the portion. It's not cheap but given the amount of seafood, it's worth the price. Love their bread basket!Rumors have it that they have the best fried chicken in town, even better than Gus's. I tried it during COVID for delivery and it's seasoned well. Didn't get a chance to try it this time.Stone crab claws are at market price.Reservations aren't required but recommended. It's easy to be seated during weekday and weekend lunch time."

"As soon as we walked in, we felt a bit out of place in our sweaty, post-hike attire among the other guests who were dressed elegantly. We explained our predicament, hoping to justify our less-than-fresh appearance as we settled in. The staff were incredibly kind and attentive, quickly providing us with phone chargers, delicious drinks, and warm bread, checking in on us regularly to ensure we were comfortable. The food was outstanding; we unanimously agreed that it was some of the best gnocchi and cheesecake we had ever tasted. We truly appreciate The Oyster Bar for welcoming us into their beautiful establishment during such a tough time. Thank you for turning our evening around!"

"I recently dined at a well-known restaurant that typically receives high praise, but was disappointed with my experience at Frank's Outback. I ordered marinated salmon and Chinese-style sweet, but what I received was a dry salmon finger and overcooked, mushy broccoli. My wife ordered fried oysters, which were tough and did not taste like oysters should. The service was lacking as well, with loud young patrons nearby who appeared to be intoxicated. The staff did not seem to discourage their disruptive behavior, likely in hopes of receiving a generous tip. Overall, I found the restaurant to be overrated and will not be returning in the future."

"I didn’t know this was a gf restaurant when we booked our reservation. This was a nice surprise for me and everyone in our party loved their brunch dishes. They especially like their bourbon cocktails. We will be coming back on the refs."

"We were initially seated at an outdoor table, but after a few minutes, we were asked to move because the table we had chosen was reserved for a regular customer. After that, we waited about 20 minutes before anyone came to take our order. Eventually, we flagged down the manager to express our concerns. He handled the situation well, trying to mend our dissatisfaction by assigning us a more energetic server. Our meals eventually arrived, and as a gesture of goodwill, the manager comped our wine. On the positive side, the bar and wine cellar selection is fantastic, and the bar staff were attentive and prompt while we waited for our table. If you do find yourself waiting, I highly recommend the warm avocado fundido; it’s excellent. However, despite these positives, our first impression was damaged. It appears that the management prioritizes regular patrons, which is understandable, but unless you are a local or frequently visit, you may find the service lacking."

"Not sure what happened here. I've been often great service and fish. Now they have a terrribel waitress who doesn't speak any English, a waiter who doesn't know the menu. They didn't give me the salad with my bento box. Had to ask for soy sauce. Fish quality was good but the service put me off. Not sure I'll be back. Too bad this was a fave of mine. Still can't believe I paid and tipped on that terrible service. I even pointed out that bento boxes come with salad as shown in the menu and he still didn't bring me one!!! The waitress knows so little English she disunion the word soda."

"I sat in the bar area but at a high top away from the bar. Playoffs were on the big screen TVs but sound down which was good. Reasonably busy for a Sunday but service was efficient, friendly and timely. I had the caprese and the mignon kebab with steak cut fries. All were outstanding!"

"We dined at wine cellar at Harry Browne’s. You’re almost 100% guaranteed to get lost finding your way to cellar. You can be annoyed by that or find it to be yet another adventure as I did (even after being directed by the host at the front).Good wine selection (if you want a cocktail, you have to ask for that…you’re in a wine cellar). The staff was lovely, the food was decent (the crab dip was great!)Downside, the cellar is unsurprisingly an internet dead zone. That may be good for staying unplugged. But we did have a situation where someone at home couldn’t reach one of us for a fairly serious issue."

"very good, cook inspired eating. the environment is very beautiful, the staff is great. probably to eat my friends favorite place, we go on special occasions. not cheap, they will pay much more than to a chainplace like appleby’s, but then again they will get a WHOLE hat of much more, and they will not find food as it is anywhere else around the francfort area. I highly recommend it."

"I just ordered from Thiru Uber, and the food was excellent. It arrived hot, tasted just as I expected, and was very fresh. I've eaten here several times over the past decade, and to be honest, I didn't expect much from a delivery order. However, I was blown away by the presentation, taste, and quality. I ordered the grilled Vermicelli shell, and it was fantastic. I also got the Vietnamese egg rolls and finished four out of six almost immediately—they were super crispy with a moist and flavorful filling, just perfect! I was so impressed that I called them back to share my thoughts. This place has definitely become my new favorite!"

"Maybe it just wasn't our place. The pitch from the server made me think we were about to eat michelin star quality food. It started out great with the appetizer but my main dish was raw in the center. I like things on the undercooked side so normally this wouldn't have bothered me but this was too raw. It was plated beautifully but the the flavor was just average in my opinion. Add in the fact it was very undercooked and I would say we won't be back. Shame, I really wanted to like this place. I should also mention my wife ordered a salad with salmon which turned out to be raw salmon. Perfectly acceptable if you know that but the server neglected to mention it was raw. Ask questions or you might get something other than what you're expecting."

"Delicious dinner @atlanticfishbos • Whole Branzino $44 (9/10) • Crab queso special $28 (9/10) • Chowder Cup $10 (9/10) • Lobster Ravioli $42 (7/10) • Crab cake side $9 (9/10) • Sangria $18 (8/10) • Old Fashioned $18 (8/10) We strolled in on a Tuesday night without a reservation right before 5pm they were able to squeeze us in. Karina, our waitress, was amazing after hearing our chatter around appetizers she tempted us with the crab queso, which was divine. The only thing I did not love was the lobster ravioli, I just wish the dish had a bit more flavor. Overall great experience, highly recommend when in the Boston area."

"Great atmosphere. The staff is professional, friendly and knowledgeable. The menu is varied and the plates are visually a treat. The food is flavorful and portions substantial just like one would expect at a bistro. When we've gone to LZ there's usually live music and we've have been rewarded by top notch performances. Joe Morocco and his trio are superb. Steve Heck is excellent as well."

"Unfortunately, we hit Skippers Pier on an 'off ' night large party upstairs (no parking available even at 5 p.m. , Tuesday Crab night (we didn 't come prepared to pick crabs and no one could sit outside because of possible rain (never happened . So the dining areas were boisterous, loud. Our calamari appetizer was tough, the crab cake entree was all claw meat, fish popper basket was all the same brown fried color, and the shrimp and grits ' had a wonderful sauce and large shrimp, but the grits were so hard they stayed in a big lump even when doused with the sauce. It was not a great night to be there to celebrate a 70th birthday. Overall, it seemed the kitchen was concentrating on the large event and steamed crabs and little attention was paid to our entrees. The one bright spot was our waitress, she was attentive and pleasant."

"This place is a very unique local restaurant that people flock to constantly despite its more expensive prices. I went here with a group of coworkers, and we really loosened up and had a great time. The crabs are top notch, and the queen and king crab legs are out of sight. There's only one other crab place I'd put above it in this area (Joe's , but it's slightly less expensive here. (Large-sized crab platters are in the $30-$40 range. They give you a lot of food, and the appetizers we had were very good as well. The other seafood that some of my fellow guests had was reportedly excellent as well. Go here for an interesting and different experience. You'll definitely enjoy it."
