"After enjoying a visit to the McCormack's on Robinson and after hearing good reports from friends at an event at the Regency location, we arranged to meet a group of friends at the Big Whisky. The food is fabulous, from the vegan BBQ to the bronzino inventive, well done, and good value. The drink list is extensive. The interior is well finished; although the location is questionable (cheap, I guess? . The service, as mentioned in other reviews, was really not good. Our server was well intentioned, I believe. But not equipped for a party of 10, even though we made up about half of the number of patrons in the whole (large! restaurant for the evening. These days, nothing else will bring me to Regency so the experience needs to be pretty great to make me want to come back. And I just don't feel we got that. (Although there were menu items that I would still like to try!"

The prefix meal was okay for Valentine's Day. I would not return again for a prefix meal. I might try it regularly though. The rest of the menu looked okay. First time I ever ate there.

I would not recommend this restaurant. We love the restaurant in the fan but did not have a pleasant experience at Regency. Slow to get drinks and food and our server seemed inconvenienced by our group of 12. We went on a Friday night and the restaurant was empty.

Food was just short of ok. The bbq sauce tasted like burnt garlic. The waiter made a point to say they have over 2,000 bottles of liquor, but they don't offer flight options. Waiter stopped by once after our food came out after 15 minutes. At this point I had already walked over to a waiter just standing around to get what we needed. View menu

The food was really good and I would go back again. We tried 4 of their appetizers and the BBQ. The collard greens as with the first visit had a little too much vinegar. They are good but I do like the taste of the greens and not so much vinegar. The Mac Cheese was really good as well as the cornbread. I hope that the locals start frequently this location not only for the food but also for the laid back atmosphere that it provides.

We ordered appetizers, oysters and artichoke/bacon dip. The oysters were cold and flavorless. The dip was creamy and warm. On this evening they had limited menu of 6 or 7 items. We ordered the speciality meatloaf only to find out they were out of it. Seemed a bit unusual considering they had very few customers. The duck and scampi were wonderful with exception they were served cold. We also had to order Prime Rib in sub for the meatloaf. Prime rib was a nice size but loaded with grizzle. Service was good but you need to plan on being there a long time. Slow slow slow. Overall was an ok experience but will not have a repeat visit.

"I don’t like leaving negative reviews, but I have to say I was very disappointed in my dining experience at Adarra. It’s difficult to get a reservation there, so once I was able to, I had extremely high expectations. The drinks were excellent, so no complaints there. The food, however, was not. We ordered the toasted almonds, peppers, cheese plate, tuna belly, anchovy dish, tomato salad, and gnocchi. The almonds and peppers were good, although I have to say they were on the simpler side. The tuna belly made me think I was eating quality tuna from a can soaked in olive oil. That’s the best way I can describe it. It was a bit tough and on the dry side, and I didn’t finish it. I don’t usually eat anchovies since I’m not a fan of the typical fishy taste, but was assured that their version wasn’t fishy at all the way they prepare it. I ate a piece or two but couldn’t finish it. Soaking the anchovies in olive oil did not hide the fishy taste. Some people may like that fishy taste, but I definitely didn’t. The cheese plate was okay. The crackers weren’t anything special, and the amount of cheese was pretty minuscule. The tomato salad was actually the only thing I ordered that was delicious, and the only thing we actually finished. After being at the restaurant for almost two hours, the gnocchi had still not come out. We told our waitress we didn’t want it and decided to leave. I heard so many great things about Adarra and had such high hopes. But after such a disappointing meal that we paid over $200 for, we will not be returning."
