"Good, but not perfect. Strong food, especially when sticking to the chop house basics like crab cakes, steaks, etc. Things can begin to go off the rails when the kitchen wants to be more creative. While one applauds them for trying to stretch their wings, it really would be better for them to stick with what they know--classic seafood and chop house fare. Environment is nice and classy without being overbearing and stuffy. It is never too noisy. Service can be a little uneven and unpolished for this price point. You would expect a little more personal touch and polished professionalism for these prices. Prices are what you would expect at the Philly original, not provincial Richmond....read more"

Honestly, this place was so amazing I created a yelp account just to tell everyone about it.

How can you give Bookbinder's anything less than 5 stars? Read on and find out. I was celebrating my one year anniversary with the love of my life. View menu

visited the fourth time last night. as always, eating was high quality. the preparations are simple and traditional. they are very helpful and professional. it is expensive, but with other high-end steak/seafood restaurants worthy. beautiful ambiente. excellent venue.

They put a rubber band in my salad! Here I was enjoying my overpriced salad at this always overpriced dimly lit joint when I found something chewy I'm my salad. I reached in to my mouth and pulled out a rubber band! Forget the toxicity of rubber, I still paid full price for my meal. If you are looking for food that is whatever at astonishing prices one menu item is $83), then try Bookbinders!

A wonderful atmosphere with excellent food. I found the negative reviews funny, as most of them mentioned certain dishes were wonderful. The price is comparable with the food quality. If you are looking for abundant inexpensive food, go to a Sheetz. If you want to experience excellent food and service, you'll find it here. Comparable to other area upscale restaurants (Copper Grill, Hondos, Ruth Chris, Motons), but less pretentious and less expensive. It is worth a visit and we plan to return. View menu

World's best crab cakes!. I am not kidding. They are the world's best crab cakes. But that's not all. They really know how to cook a steak here too. And the service is impeccable. We went there this past weekend for my birthday and I would not have picked another restaurant for the occasion. It really is that good! This was our second visit there but they may want to get used to us because we will definitely be back. And do yourself a favor and order the cream corn. It doesn't sound like something most people would order but it was out of this world!!

Underwhelmed. I have been here twice before tonight, once for a lobster special that was excellent and reasonable and once we had a bottle of wine and 2 seafood salads and ate outside and it was perfect. Love the atmosphere plus you would never know there was a recession, packed full on a wet wed night ! Downhill all the way after a yummy lump crabmeat cocktail. Service was fine, just the food was in no way matched to the price, especially considering you have to pay extra for side dishes. It also seemed to take a very long time for main courses, waitress apologized so not sure what happened there.

"I don’t like leaving negative reviews, but I have to say I was very disappointed in my dining experience at Adarra. It’s difficult to get a reservation there, so once I was able to, I had extremely high expectations. The drinks were excellent, so no complaints there. The food, however, was not. We ordered the toasted almonds, peppers, cheese plate, tuna belly, anchovy dish, tomato salad, and gnocchi. The almonds and peppers were good, although I have to say they were on the simpler side. The tuna belly made me think I was eating quality tuna from a can soaked in olive oil. That’s the best way I can describe it. It was a bit tough and on the dry side, and I didn’t finish it. I don’t usually eat anchovies since I’m not a fan of the typical fishy taste, but was assured that their version wasn’t fishy at all the way they prepare it. I ate a piece or two but couldn’t finish it. Soaking the anchovies in olive oil did not hide the fishy taste. Some people may like that fishy taste, but I definitely didn’t. The cheese plate was okay. The crackers weren’t anything special, and the amount of cheese was pretty minuscule. The tomato salad was actually the only thing I ordered that was delicious, and the only thing we actually finished. After being at the restaurant for almost two hours, the gnocchi had still not come out. We told our waitress we didn’t want it and decided to leave. I heard so many great things about Adarra and had such high hopes. But after such a disappointing meal that we paid over $200 for, we will not be returning."

"Came here for a celebratory dinner. Made our reservation via the website; called to fix the amount of people from 5 to six with no issues. The manager answered the phone and was very nice. We came here via recommendation from an employee. She was not wrong, the prices are very high, but the quality of the food matched so we can’t complain. Special occasions call for opening your wallet with closed eyes! We would vote this the second best pasta in town; sauces and meats were divinely tasty/well done. Try the quail, it was incredible. Plating however was a bit silly for fine dining. As someone who has gone to fine restaurants around the globe, I find putting an orchid on my plate of pasta cliché and offensive (orchid production is highly problematic, feel free to research if you are unaware). Honestly unless the garnish works with the dish/tastes good with my food, it’s a waste of money. To top our pasta, why not use fancy parsley or oregano flowers or nasturtium? These are all edible and wouldn’t go to waste. We all agreed the orchids made us sad; they’re not even edible! I grow my herbs and love using their flowers as garnish/decoration of my dishes. Hope the chef sees and considers my hot tip! Orchids are so expensive; to be wasted like this. Their desserts were excellent, especially the pannacotta and the grand marnier cake (incredibly floral, to die for creamy highly recommend). The waiter talked up the tiramisu so much, it was corny. As a family that has visited Italy many times we found his fake accent and counting incorrectly in Italian endearing, but a bit over the top. Also highly doubt a true Italian would ever claim the Grotta tiramisu is better than an Italian one. Will definitely come back, but unfortunately have to agree with some of the other reviews in regards to sexism. Our waiter was a bit focused on my oldest daughter, kept reaching over her to serve wine and water, calling her pet names, which made her uncomfortable. Maybe just walk around the table to serve instead of reaching over guests. Also, when we received our bill, they charged us for a $65 bottle of wine rather than the $30 one we ordered. They fixed it once we pointed it out, but it was still a bit awkward. Make sure you check your bill before you pay! PS: My daughter would love to help you with your social media presence. Your instagram is very bland and does not represent your business accurately. This could help elevate your business; highly recommend hiring someone better to work on your website/marketing."
