Wonderful experience. From the Beginning to the end. Crisp white table cloths...gleaming glass wear...delicious food. RAY was on it. The Rabbit Entree D Lish!

Dined here a few years ago, now has a nice remodel. Good service and menu selection. Loved the mussel app, and special, flounder. Wine were great, as was dessert was super. Reservations needed usually, but we were there early (5:00) and were able to be seated.

The whole experience was amazing. Service was delightful. My partner had the shrimp curry that he loved, even the veggies got a shout-out. I had the halibut special that was perfectly prepared. It is a popular spot so make reservations and add it to your must see list. View menu

The reservation process was easy. Called left message, got an immediate call back shortly after 3:00. Great wine and cocktail menu. Started with meatballs in curry sauce and seafood cocktail. Main course, I had the Pork medals My way with apples, peas, gnocchi and a small side of Spezel. Service was good, food was good. Would definitely come back.

What a nice time! Was not in a few years in Johannes and was totally enthusiastic about this return trip. The menu was full of big German options, but also a bit “California meets Asia” tariff. The food was perfectly prepared and so fresh. The berry bread pudding was also the perfect end. In addition, the service was attentive and always flowing. Our guests were over the moon over the entire experience!

I have dined Johanne several times and never disappointed! Known for their carvings, this is usually what I order and it is sublime. There are many variations to choose and everyone I tried was delicious. Portions are gigantic, so prepare your 'buffet pants' or share the plate. And do not miss the incredible Ahi Tuna Tartare appetizer. It's the stuff dreams are made! So good and generous for an appetizer. Service was excellent. View menu

My partner I had a fabulous dinner at Johannes! We started with the wild mushroom soup which was all I had hoped for savory, slightly earthy and oh so delicious. I live small plates so I went with additional appetizers including the beet salad and mussels all delicious. My partner enjoyed the shrimp curry amazing. Overall fantastic experience. Service was a little slow (took a long time to come to the table, offer drinks etc) it was busy! Our table was at the sliding glass door to the patio area get rid of that table, it’s a terrible place to seat someone paying premium prices for a premium meal experience. Our server was awesome, food was as other reviews mention so well prepared delicious!

Maybe it just wasn't our place. The pitch from the server made me think we were about to eat michelin star quality food. It started out great with the appetizer but my main dish was raw in the center. I like things on the undercooked side so normally this wouldn't have bothered me but this was too raw. It was plated beautifully but the the flavor was just average in my opinion. Add in the fact it was very undercooked and I would say we won't be back. Shame, I really wanted to like this place. I should also mention my wife ordered a salad with salmon which turned out to be raw salmon. Perfectly acceptable if you know that but the server neglected to mention it was raw. Haven 't been here for quite a while...it was a very pleasant and delicious evening. Beth our server was delightful and very attentive! I highly recommend the Sezarac cocktail if you like whiskey. It is made with Bullet Rye, absinthe, Peychaud 's bitters, sugar cube and a lemon twist. Kind of a modified sidecar that has been around since the mid 1800 's. Delightful!! My husband had the Texas onion soup...OMG.. velvety and delicious. I had the radicchio salad with toasted hazelnuts, feta, dates, arugula and pear. Yummy!! Truly the soup and salad could be your meal... But gluttons that we are we both ordered veal schnitzels. His was a traditional one with capers and lemon. Mine was Jager style... View menu
