"Haven 't been here for quite a while...it was a very pleasant and delicious evening. Beth our server was delightful and very attentive! I highly recommend the Sezarac cocktail if you like whiskey. It is made with Bullet Rye, absinthe, Peychaud 's bitters, sugar cube and a lemon twist. Kind of a modified sidecar that has been around since the mid 1800 's. Delightful!! My husband had the Texas onion soup...OMG.. velvety and delicious. I had the radicchio salad with toasted hazelnuts, feta, dates, arugula and pear. Yummy!! Truly the soup and salad could be your meal... But gluttons that we are we both ordered veal schnitzels. His was a traditional one with capers and lemon. Mine was Jager style with mushrooms, red wine sauce, bacon and crispy onions. Both were served with cranberry sauce and creamy cucumber salad. We were too full for dessert but I think it is absolutely brilliant that they have a 'sample ' plate of three bite size portions of their most popular desserts for those who want a little sweet something something without having to order a big dessert. We will definitely be back!"

"This was my third visit to Al's, and just like the previous times, it was fantastic! Even during the off-season, the restaurant was busy, yet the staff was friendly and attentive. The atmosphere is relaxed, the decor is unique, and the establishment is clean and inviting. I celebrated my birthday here with a group of seven, and our waitress expertly managed our orders and separate checks. The food was excellent, arrived in a timely manner, and was delicious. I will definitely return! On a side note, I wish more people would give restaurants and servers more than one chance in their reviews—especially during peak season when things can get hectic. Everyone can have an off day, but this place is truly a special gem in Door County!"

"If I could give a rating of 0, I would. We ordered a sheet pizza, a large pizza, and wings. The delivery driver only brought the wings and the large pizza, and then demanded $70. If that is your actual pricing, then you are overcharging customers. Additionally, our entire sheet pizza was missing, leaving a house full of people hungry. When we contacted the restaurant, they told us it would be an additional $40 and an hour before the sheet pizza would arrive, with no compensation or apology for their mistake. The service was terrible. We will not be ordering from here again and do not recommend it to others."

"It's the calzones!!! There are several pizzerias within a few blocks of this Salvatore's location, but this is the place to get the BEST pizza in the area. I love their pizza and at least one of the employees at this location recognizes me and even lets me know when I have earned enough points for FREE PIZZA! You can't beat that! Their dining room is spacious for a pizza place and I have brought many friends here to enjoy a sheet at a booth."

"If your in the area stop by and grab a plate. You won't be disappointed. The food is good the price is reasonable. The oatmeal is delicious. On Monday the special is fideo con carne I ain't that yesterday big bowl with charro beans on the side. The parking is not that big but like if you get a chance make the effort to sitdown and eat.."

"I just went there for breakfast for the first time. Breakfast was really good. Fresh food, delicious and didn’t have to wait too long. Cofee was also very good. The service was fantastic. I highly recommend this place for breakfast. Very nice environment for families also. I already told family members and friends about my experience there. Hope to go back soon. "This restaurant serves incredible fried chicken. If I were to visit a dedicated fried chicken spot and received what they offer, I would be thrilled. They should really call it Gene's Fried Chicken! Trust me, don't miss out on the fried chicken; it’s available only during lunch. You can get a 3-piece meal with a cookie for just $5.50—what a deal! I don't know who Gene is, but this place is a gem. They also have a standard deli and a variety of convenience store items. The staff is very friendly. Just a heads-up, there’s a small credit card fee. Seriously, make sure you try the fried chicken!"

"Hostesses were extremely rude and condescending. Asked for a high chair for my one year old son, was told I couldn’t have one outside in the artificial turf, completely understandable. I told them we’re actually seated on the concrete patio not the turf. They roll their eyes at me and still tells us we can’t have one of the 5 high chairs she is standing right next to. Then on my way out the door she says some snide comment implying I shouldn’t have my kid on the patio because it’s a bar. There were half a dozen toddlers out there when we walked in. That being said we ate here the day before and had no issues, food was very good, cool atmosphere. But I was so put off by that rude hostess this morning we will not be back anytime soon."

"As a working man, I like Chinese buffets for lunch because if you selectively choose, you can eat a relatively healthy meal for the same price as fast food. China Buffet at the Richland Mall is the best in Mansfield. Housed in part of the space of the former Night Moves Cafè, China Buffet offers all the standard fair you expect, the food is always hot, always full and well-stocked. Like most CBs, the desserts leave a lot to be desired, but that's good, because I don't need them anyway! I load up on all the meat and vegetable dishes, skip the rice, deep fried foods and the heavy stuff. Fast, efficent service means I can be in and out in a half hour too!"

"I consistently order for delivery because I'm handicapped. I placed my order at 5:07, and there was a 10-minute delay because of the order taker's speed. I was informed that it would take 45 minutes. At 6:22, I called to check on my order since it had been an hour and a half. The person on the other end insisted that only an hour had passed and assured me that the driver was on his way. I just hope the food arrives warm."
