"More than just a dinner. My wife and I are from San Antonio, Tx, but we’re born and raised here in Natchitoches. We popped in late last night for the Ahi and steak. The food and service were both excellent! We were not surprised at all by the level of quality, when we found out that the new owners were actually our wedding planners back in 2002. They hosted our rehearsal dinner at the Mason Louisiane, we exchanged vows under a 200 year old oak tree on the riverbank and actually had our wedding reception at the Mariners! It was also ironic that I actually worked at the Mariners during the 80’s while attending NSU. So many amazing memories, I think we have a new tradition now. I would be remiss if I didn’t mention the excellent bar service as well. Will definitely be back. Congratulations!"

Very enjoyed our night! The bartender was great and the food was delicious. The seafood was fresh and perfectly cooked. Will definitely be back. We ate at the bar but sit by the way to enjoy the beautiful view of the lake.

We usually sit in the cove when our favorite bartender -Lane is working. He is the best!!! Last night we sat at the bubbles bar while he was the bartender. We tried the Steak Eric- per recommendation and it was the best we have ever eaten! The platter was so big -2 of us shared it. We will definitely be back!

We had a party of 11 without reservation and they made arrangements to put us right away. we shared various appetizers and was very impressed by the taste and presentation of each dish. Warmly greedy. My sister, I sat in a window at sunset. Great ambience. We had an enrhusiastic server Brook that recommended some popular items. Salad bar was clean wired fresh food. The darkened catfish was exquisite, as well as the filled potato. My sister enjoyed the ulcer chicken and the Pinot Chloe wine was a pleasure in our pallids. It was moderately expensive and worth every penny. We are very happy to enjoy a restaurant again soon!

My husband, I had the pleasure of eating in your restaurant last week during the holiday. The food was divine, the presentation was pleasantly exquisite for the eye, our waiter was Ethan. The salad bar was abundantly fresh as if from the garden this day. We loved it proposed to anyone we know who travels through Louisiana, Mariner's restaurant is a must stop!! Of course, I'm still praying for the night meal! Thanks Ethan for a great service to go with the great food!!
