"This was an amazing place to eat. I was slightly intimidated but how packed it was but I soon found out that it was because of how delicious everything was! My fiance and I started off with a couple of drafts out of very large variety of beers and the waiter had no trouble recommending the perfect selections for us both. Our appetizer was the Cheese Curds with ranch and WOW absolutely amazing! They were like Mozzarella sticks that just didn't taste Italian. It went very well with the beers. Then we ordered our entrees: St. Patty's Melt with a side of Tabouli and South City Chicken with a side of Pub Fries. It's hard to go wrong with a patty melt but it was delicious none-the-less. We ordered it medium-cooked and it turned out perfectly. The Tabouli was something we have never had before - it was basically like salsa without the sauce, a very interesting side dish that wasn't quite up to our expectations. As for the South City Chicken, talk about a spicy succulence! The chicken was cooked very well and wasn't too thick or thin of a breast. It was covered in Pepper Jack cheese and salsa, giving it a very hot flavor that made my mouth water. I had them leave off the avocado since I'm not a huge fan, so that might have balanced out the zesty flavor a bit more. And of course the Pub Fries were super good - a delicious flavor, cooked just right and not too greasy. At the end, we had enough room in our stomachs for one of their decadent desserts: White Chocolate Chip Brownie served a la mode. The brownie came out very soft but not gooey and was super warm. The right amount of vanilla ice cream was placed on top, followed by a good amount of chocolate fudge dripped over the dessert with a fresh strawberry as extra. Very delicious! The staff was very friendly and helpful, and all the food and drinks came so fast - very little wait time. It was a cozy place to eat with the lights dimmed. All in all, a most fabulous place to eat! We will definitely go back again!!"

"I have never written a negative review for anything but I think I have to after having eaten here tonight. We hadn't been to Frank's in over 10 years and, before tonight, we remember it being of good quality. We wanted some good steaks tonight, so we went there.Well our experience was not really good at all. First, no one was available when we walked in to seat us. The bartender saw that we walked in and ignored us. There were only one or two other tables seated (it was only around 4pm when we got in there . One of us tried to find someone to seat us, and we did and then we were promptly seated in a completely empty section (which was fine .The waiter, who seemed most preoccupied in being attentive to the table of women who were there without men, really ignored us most of the time, other than the requisite initial drink and food orders. We had to flag him down two times by getting two other people to help us find him (for another drink one time, and to get the check the 2nd time . He never came over to ask how the food was after it came out (and mine was undercooked, but I learned years ago from people I know who work in restaurants that you NEVER return your food in even fancy places! Some members of the staff in a lot of places have a field day with your food when you do! .When we asked for the check, he never even asked if we wanted dessert (and we did! . He was way too preoccupied with the few female patrons at their tables (I believe there were 2 other seated tables .The food the garlic steak had little to no garlic taste. Same thing with the garlic spinach. Surprising, when they bill that the garlic is a big part of the meal. The food wasn't bad it just was uh and certainly not of the quality that warrants a $225.00 check for two people.Usually, we have a good experience at any restaurant we go to. We felt it was important to note this. It might just have been an off time and the waiter would probably have more success on dating apps than trying to flirt with the women in the place who aren't with men."

"I suppose if you're willing to pay $13 for a sub-par hamburger, then this review isn't going to mean much to you. On a Sunday afternoon, I went into jams for the first time. I have heard so much hype about it that I wanted to try it for myself. I found it surprisingly dead at that time of day, which is unusual because the parking lot is always filled for this place. I sat at the bar and ordered a soda. what kind of restaurant doesn't have soda on phone? So you get a can of Diet Coke. Later, when I got the bill, I about fell out of my chair when I was charged $2.95 for a can of Diet Coke. Then, I ordered the Jams hamburger with balsamic onions and bacon. It was a good size hamburger, and the bun was good. I asked for pickles and lettuce and tomato on my hamburger. Again, what kind of please that tell it's their hamburgers doesn't have sliced hamburger pickles? As a matter of fact, for $13, they should hand make their own pickles. But I got some sort of food service deli spears. I have to say that the veggie slaw was very good. The hamburger, on the other hand, was very bland. Expected a good amount of the balsamic onions, and I got what probably equated to a tablespoon. The bacon also was subpar. Then, just to top it off, the bartender who was serving me was completely distracted by her friends at the end of the bar and never once returned to see what I needed. There were three managers at the other end of the bar complaining about this and that, which just kind of brought everything into focus for me. This is a trendy restaurant, with exhorbitant prices, for people who have nothing better to do than to spend too much money for mediocre food and drinks."

"Hate to write this review but our service was one of the worst I 've ever gotten. Our reservation is at 7pm and didn 't get seated until 7:20pm. We had an older lady who gave us a menu and didn 't come back until 7:50pm. Noted we didn 't get any water or bread while waiting. Finally we put in an order and appetizers did not arrive until 8:15 (30 mins+ . Then entree did not arrive until 9pm. It 's been two hours at this point! We quickly ate and just wanted to get out of there as desserts would prob been another 30 mins. Worst of all, the older lady who I felt bad for, was condescending and rude. She would talk to all other tables and did not check in nor acknowledge us throughout the meal. Someone else came to refill our water, gave us more bread. I had to ask the other person that I wanted dessert to go since she was too busy chatting with another table for at least 10 mins. When she finally came to us she got upset and said you shouldn 't have told them you want dessert to go well okay I wouldn 't if you were non existent for the past two hours and I needed SOME service. Customer service was the worst, and you think the food would make up for it. However this is worst than Outback Steakhouse, the steak was dry and covered in a cream sauce. For this price I rather go to a more reputable steakhouse, they cannot say they are a long institution and think it 's an excuse for bad food and service. We 've been to Musso and Franks and Lawrys multiple times and both have been around for a long time, but at least their service and food match their reputable name. Save yourself the headache."
