"After one on a Thursday the parking lot was full. So too the restaurant, most likely with regulars. The reception and the wait staff are cheerful and efficient. The menu is very extensive. As is often the case in more informal restaurants and diners owned by Greek families, the Greek portion of the menu is quite small, the rest of the menu filled with Italian-American and American dishes. I ordered the moussaka, an iconic Greek dish I am fond of, and it came with a larger than side Greek salad. Frankly, both dishes looked better than they tasted. Whether they were lighter versions or just bland is a matter of interpretation. The olives, feta cheese, meat filling of the main course, were all insipid. I'm glad I had both dishes many times before, both in the U.S. and Greece. These were far from exceptional. My wife and our friends had various salads and sandwiches and politely claimed they were satisfied. We all agreed that the dessert pies were delicious. It is a hard working crew and everything looked attractive on the plates. But, frankly, I am not in any hurry to return."
