"in the valley inn! eating is delicious, they give very generous portions, the staff was welcoming, and they have a lot of sitting and beautiful ambiente. I had two problems with this visit. our waitress was friendly and decided to bring extra bread that she said was “deviled” but it was extremely heavy and barely edible. they volunteer to bring extra bread, as we decided to share the crab-dip assizer, we had very hard and overly roasted bread pieces in the round 4. I appreciate that she was mentally enough to get extra. we hate to give back food or create a fuss, so we tried to blow it and dive into the crabs. I think the brot is ciabatta brot, which of course has a little hard outside / soft in but this brot was hard all in all! we tried to knock on it, but the hard was unbearable and when the waitress came back, we hardly ate them back to her. we told her it was too hard and we couldn't eat it. I asked for her to bring more broth, but not to shy, hoping that could help, but this time she brought cold hard broth! we didn't want to make a big deal of it, so we just let it sit there. of course, to say that she was still charged for the extra brot that she originally offered that I thought honestly was free (it said "$1.00 extra brot" on my rucksack. Please get her a better and softer selection of broth like naan brot, weizenroll, chewing French brot! hard brot is only good for diving in very hot suppening, which naturally soften the broth when it once dipped! also the stands in the middle room are great! and very spacious, however there is an unpleasant design from the very rear room, the large windows that are not properly isolated! Last time I visited, we sat in the back and it was badly isolated in the month of December! I think there are overhead heating or warm lights back there that have helped, but the room is still cool, which makes the dining room a bit unpleasant."

"The music with dinner was fantastic! The decor is very nice, the setting was quite lovely, except the ceiling tiles; a little dingy looking (ceiling tiles need to be replaced immediately , but nicely themed; painted, etc... Our waitress was melancholy, stressed and seemingly overworked with all the tables she had at once. At times, we ran out of ice tea, and waited a while for appetizers and food, but the service was not terrible (I tipped 20% . The appetizers (brussels sprouts wwere very good. However, the rest of dinner was terrible at best. Our party of three tried the bread, cheese pizza, and lasagna and they were all terrible (flavor . The sauce on the lasagna tasted like a mixture of Ragu spaghetti sauce and carryout ketchup! The pizza was soggy, and the bread was hard as a rock, with no flavor at all (the second batch brought out was a little warmer and softer but still tasteless. Not what you expect from a italian restaurant . My wifes work colleague made us lasagna the other day that was far better in every aspect (taste, viscosity, warmth, presentation, spices, preparation, etc... HOWEVER... The live music (The Carl Grubbs Quartet was simply amazing! Germano's Piattini supports live music from different local bands to play while having dinner. Because of this, even though the food was not good at all (except the brussel sprouts (me , and the cheesecake according to my wife I will happily eat their again (music nights only . They must make some dishes that are good, right? I will exhaust them all for good obvionce, and live jazz music, which this place has!"
