"I don’t get it. Every dish is brown, served flat on a plate. The result is a meal that (even in other people’s photos here) is simply unappetizing to look at. Trout was thin and dry, with a corn-meal rub so thick the whole dinner tasted like popcorn. The “red pesto” was flavorless, and the sides were barely warm. Shrimp Grits were tasty, but over salted and the size of an appetizer. We spent $50 each, drank only water, and left hungry and disappointed. Also, we were COLD. The outside temperature was 56, and they still had the Ai rConditioner on full blast. Good service (from poorly dressed staff) was not enough to make up for the high cost and low flavor of the food. Last note — the menu did not offer a single vegetarian meal nor a single dairy-free dessert. Shame. Vegetarian options: NONE! Place is heavy on dairy (particularly desserts) and meat. "We have been coming to Monocacy Crossing fir years! The food is amazing! Some favorites remain in the menu but there are wonderful specials. "Must-try: Piazza. Top rated Italian restaurant in Eureka. Overall great dining experience with very welcoming service in a lovely town. Started with Wild Mushroom Cobbler, we have Piazza and steak as the main dishes. They are both delicious and the Piazza taste especially amazing with simple components. For dessert my friend ordered ice cream. I tried black chocolate truffle with duck fat. It has a bit salt on it's top while the truffle itself is not rich of flavor of duck."

"We went to Bella Costa while on a trip to Boston for a wedding. We started with the fried mozzarella and the meatball Italiano appetizers, which were both lovely. The meatballs had great seasoning and texture and was accompanied by homemade sauce and whipped ricotta. The mozzarella’s coating was light but crunchy and tasted awesome. For entrees, I got the scallops florentine over spaghetti and my boyfriend got chicken piccata over tagliatelle. Both were AMAZING! The lemon sauce that came with his meal was divine and all the pastas are homemade. The portions are huge and flavorful. Our server, Carol, was also lovely, very friendly and attentive. My only regret is that we couldn’t fit in any dessert! We will definitely be coming back!"

"a truly delicious gluten-free food that even overtakes my gluten-loving husband! our server was wonderful, attentive, but not too attentive, and friendly. the atmosphere was beautiful. our reservation was for 9 o'clock on Thursday and even at the end of the service was our eating incredible. we had the gnocchi that came in a mushroom engraving that was so good that we also immersed the brotsticks in it! I had that steak. it was cooked to perfection with texture and taste, one of the best steaks I ever had. even my spatula was perfectly cooked. it was well done without being limp. my man had the faint and it was also perfection. he said it was one of the best meals he had ever had. we ordered the dessert. the blondie was more like a spicy cake than a blondie, after my thought, but it was still a good opportunity to finish the meal. we will come back! to get this quality of eating at the end of the night on a random week night, simply shows how good eating in posana really is. I'll have to deal with gnocchi and steak the next time."

"We 've been going to this restaurant since it opened a zillion years ago, but this was only our second time back since the pandemic. We enjoy the patio, but it 's gotten so popular that reservations are an issue. The teenage greeter looked like she 'd rather have a different job, so I suggest she get one. The food was fine. Nice to see the Sautéed Sea Scallops still on the menu. The special French Onion Soup was terrible, however, and shouldn 't have been served. Their current cheeseboard is very, very good, but I wish they had a smaller version. My wife loved her Chicken Taquito, while my Duck Prosciutto Crostini was, frankly, forgettable. I needed a steak knife to cut the crostini. The hangar steak salad was OK. The pleasant surprise of the evening was dessert, which was a Heath Bar cheesecake."

"Located in Bretton Arms Inn at the Mt Washington Resort. Quaint white inn tucked in the woods near the stables. Horses are about. This is a fine dining experience. The dining area accommodates a few. We sat in the corner against a window with garden view. Our chairs were big velvety captain seats that we sank into. Our many servers (main, bread, water etc) acted with proper decorum without seeming stuffy. We ordered the Jonah Crab Ravioli appetizer and the Duo of Beef. They started us with complimentary piece of bread. Choice of a triangle of raisin bread or a piece of baguette. The breads were average, nothing oustanding. The butter sprinkled with Himalayan Sea Salt. Then, they had us taste Salmon Crostini. The crostini was stale and the salmon was smoked, strong tasting. Next, was Lemon Ice, palette cleanser. The ravioli was flavorful and perfectly executed. Lump crab and pasta fresh. When you create the perfect bite on your fork, the experience is divine. Bursts of citrus and textures from foam and emulsion. One of the best dishes I've tasted. The duo was less impressive. The Brussel Sprouts were vibrant green and not bitter. The short rib was too salty. The filet was done beyond medium rare, not our preference. We ordered MR. The priciest dish was a disappointment. Although, I will state that both pieces of meat were so tender I was able to use my butter knife to cut since they did not bring out a steak knife. I thought they were making a statement with the butter knife. We finished with a piece of White Chocolate Fudge with Dried Cherry. Nice ending along with hot steamed towels."

"Probably the most elegant restaurant I've ever taken my wife to for a date. As soon as we got near the restaurant we hear the Italian music and see the outdoor seating. Just that alone reminded me of Italy not to mention the elegance of the restaurant on the inside. Lighting inside is dim and it just sets the mood for a great evening. The service is great and the food is absolutely amazing. Everything on the menu is priced fairly as you would expect from a fine dining restaurant. We were up in a private owner's suite where you get to look down on the entire restaurant and you can see the busy kitchen as the food is being made. The private seating cost 10% extra of your bill which is donated towards local animal rescue. To sum it up, absolutely amazing would definitely recommend to anyone for any occasion, and we will definitely be back IA."

"I booked a reservation online last night through Open Table. We got a notification through text that our table was ready prior to arriving, just like always when using this app. My date and I were sat at our table and realized very quickly that it was 85⁰ in the restaurant. We asked the server if she could adjust the A/C to a cooler temperature, and she said it was broken. She said it was a little cooler at the bar so we moved. We couldn't tell a difference and ultimately left the restaurant. As a four star restaurant, could we not expect a courtesy call to notify us that the A/C is down so we could find another restaurant if we so desired? Does Itta Bena expect a couple to come in and spend $150-$200 on a nice meal while sitting in a sauna? My executive host with Wind Creek Casino (where this restaurant is located) had no idea of the problem, so he wouldn't have been able to save us a trip either. What a freaking joke! What's sad is that there aren't many nice restaurants in Montgomery to begin with, but this one has been crossed off the list. Will never return!"

"I feel that the management of the kitchen/tables is inadequate. they had server coming from the kitchen looking to eat where it goes (made kreise a couple of times.) your concept stinks. if they had 3 persons with orders, 1 person per two rows with an additional server per order to bring food and drink from the kitchen, it would have worked. they have a limited menu that is great for this type of sitting. they are all sitting at once, they must have the appropriate personal to take this off. dreadfully inefficient (I waited the tables and worked a bar.) I also looked at people beside me who ate the brisket sandwich, looked incredible, ordered one and had only melted the butter, not roasted and there was hardly any meat. it tasted great for the little one I could taste. could be a great food location with many other changes. the staff who waited for us was incredible and worked out his back. I felt bad for them that someone in a guide role has only set up this for them to fail and not for their fault - their. even if they take the time to make a reservation for dinner, it would be nice to sit in front of the crowd and not an hour after. it is a simple separate line for reservations of at least 6-7pm. that should not be difficult to fix. all around me complained for good reason....not good. I would recommend skyloft if changes are made."

"Wonderful drinks and meals tonight. I loved the onion soup with loads of cheese. We enjoyed the filet mignon and bison ribeye. Cooked properly and delivered with flair from the kitchen. Waiter was positive attitude and attentive without becoming intrusive. The dining area itself was spacious and appeared to be recently refurbished. The only negative was general pricing. While well prepared the meals just did t feel like $80 entrees. But if sticker pricing doesn’t bother you definitely worth a visit!"

"Every dish seemed to fall short for me in terms of flavor. You can't mix and match tacos, so my friends and I all ordered different tacos and split. We got the shrimp, pork, and chicken. The shrimp and pork tacos were pretty bland. The chicken was good. The fried chihuahua cheese just wasn't as rich as I was expecting. The service was great. The margarita was good. "We arrived to the patio at 1200 on a Sunday. Our party of 6 (mostly 20-30 year olds) were seated near the outdoor bar. At the time of seating the music was at a relatively high level, but acceptable. Within 5 minutes it was raised to a very loud and unacceptable level. We all had a very tough time conversing. We told our waitress, but nothing changed. My wife then asked the bartender, who seemed to control the audio equipment to turn it down. Nothing changed. I then asked the bartender to turn it down, which he did, but then within 5 minutes it was returned to an unacceptable level. I then again asked to at least turn down the speaker nearest us. His reply was sure, but nothing changed. After spending $200 for a family lunch, we all had an overall negative experience. I personally feel the bartender was finding pleasure in “toying” with us; promising to help but doing nothing. After spending time as frequent customers (4th visit in 10 days), we were looking forward to bringing our guests there, only to have a negative experience by all."

"We arrived at the restaurant at 5:30 on a Friday night, only to find they were out of Merlot. The French dip was disappointing, lacking flavor and had more hoagie than meat, cheese, or onions, although the fries were enjoyable. The cioppino was unlike any we’ve had before—there were no noodles and barely any sauce. The only highlight of the evening was the live music. We’ve dined here several times in the past and have always had an upscale gourmet experience, but the quality has steadily declined to less than mediocre. I don't think we'll be returning."

"Between the time we booked our initial reservation and the day of, apparently the restaurant went into renovations so that only bar food and bar seating were available. We received zero notice from the establishment of this change and booked the dinner on the basis of actually getting to eat from what the wonderful menu was at the time of booking. We were seated and it took too long for a server to come over while we were in a middle of a loud bar with patrons cursing in front of my child. By the time she finally arrived, we figured out we were duped and told her we would find somewhere else. We walked a block or so and went to Vic’s on the River and had an amazing dinner. Won’t be back to this place again."

"If Schiller's is a little less lively than it once was and it is the flip side is that you can get a table more easily. (They still jam you in pretty tight, though We had a burger, a steak, a charred cauliflower side and two big piles of fantastic fries. As with most McNally restaurants, it's worth going for the fries alone. About the cauliflower when I observed that it wasn't especially charred, they took it off the bill and comped dessert for our trouble. My god, it will be a true loss to NYC when the sticky toffee pudding is no longer available. Schiller's may be closing in a couple of months, but it's still totally worth a visit. Go!"
