"I went in feeling like a starved glutton, only to leave feeling like a full bellied king. For the past week, I've been living off of gas station food through long hours of work. The roasted bone marrow appetizer followed up with Rustica's signature wagyu steak with potatoes and broccoli florets had given me a taste of culture and civility which our shared world is currently very much lacking. Bill, the first face of Rustica I had the pleasure to meet welcomed me in without a second word toward not having a reservation prior to my arrival. I was treated better than I treat myself most time. And a special thank you to the bartender Jaymie, the sharp spoken blonde with glasses and a warming smile, treated me wonderfully (the wine matched the steak so well, thank you). though I felt like a tramp just off the street as I first entered, I left feeling like a person again. Thank you, Rustica. Thank your staff as well, I hope this restaurant stays around for decades to come."

"Our group of four enjoyed the prix fixe menu at not including beverages or dessert. The selections are outstanding, lots of variety in meat, chicken, fish and vegetarian. There was something for everyone pork belly, gazpacho, summer salads, grilled romaine, lamb chops, beef filet, cioppino and halibut. Our meals were delicious, beautifully presented, portions were perfect. Service was excellent, and Anoosh followed all PPE guidelines, social distancing, and capacity requirements. Sadly, there were very few diners on a Friday night. The wine and cocktails were excellent, and we added a flourless chocolate cake and creme brulee for dessert. While the cost is a bit high, the total dining experience was special. Chef Anoosh, his dining room director and our server were all attentive and appreciative of our patronage. We'll be back"

"I dined at Blackstone Bistro one time for dinner and was impressed with the quality, so I thought I would try lunch. Had a business lunch, the ambiance is comfortable, elegant, upscale and all around perfect. The food was Five stars and the presentation is Amazing We were seated promptly and the server was profesional and very knowledgeable, she gave us a quick description of the menu and the specials . The menu was rich with Great Appetizers, Salads, pizzas, Italian pastas, great selection Seafood and Steaks. I started with Mushroom soups, which was full of flavors. I had the Barley quinoa Salad with chicken and my guest had the Bento box as our main. It is definitely the best salad I have ever had, and my guest loved his food. The Chef and owner as in my last visit came and said hello and checked on our food, we have never seen this before that the chef comes out of the kitchen, it felt amazing and welcoming. The portions were very generous and prices are just right for lunch. Very highly recommended. They have brunch on Saturdays and Sundays. LOVE THE FOOD AND WE WILL BE BACK GREAT JOB"

"I rated service low but our waiter was fabulous. However, the “children” working the check in desk need additional training or, at the very least, ask their manager for assistance. Reservation at 7:45 pm and arrived early at 7:30. Didn’t expect the table to be ready and ordered drinks and queso at the bar bar staff was also excellent. I was told to return at 7:45 which I did and was told that the table we were waiting on had been there 5 hours ?? They arrived at 2:45 and they would text me when the table was ready. I waited another 10 minutes and went to the hostess and she said that they had another table for us and that they had paid. Another 15 minutes and the hostess showed me another table that would be ours since the other group wasn’t leaving. After another 10 minutes the hostess said they were pulling tables together for us party of 6 and it would be just a minute. During that time I watched a party of 5 walk in and they were seated. As soon as that happened I went back to the hostess stand and she said they were ready for us. 8:31 pm. Imagine my surprise when I was seated at a table for 6. Thought they were pulling tables together We pounced on the waiter and ordered drinks and food since we had been there an hour. Drinks came quickly and food shortly thereafter. We ordered and ate and paid the bill in 42 minutes. No one ever said they were sorry for our wait. My family dined at this location as well as other Goode Co restaurants and this was so disappointing."

"My friend and I came here for dinner and we were waited on by an older bartender with brown hair. We thought that she probably forgot to put in our order after people who had gotten there after us had entrees and we hadn’t gotten salads or been checked on for 45 minutes. We eventually got the attention of another waitress and the bartender brought our salads a few minutes later. We weren’t even upset but she blamed the wait on being busy rather than apologizing for forgetting to put in our order. I did tell her that we had been there before all these other people who were finishing up. She proceeded to yell at us saying what do you want me to do and we could just leave. An apology and some accountability would have been great but instead she said we were being mean and the situation escalated so quickly that we ended up leaving. I have been a waitress for many years and have never been yelled at like that before by a customer, let alone a server! I did email the owner and he did respond quickly and apologized and offered us to come back which I appreciated but as long as that woman is allowed to work there, I wouldn’t recommend going there."

"Josie's has been one of our favorite restaurants in the Capital Region (which, compared to many other small cities, isn't saying a whole lot about fine dining in the region, sadly). But aside from the varying specials, the menu has barely changed since it opened. Funny how they change the season at the top of the menu, but not any of the actual food to match the season. I used to get excited about going there, but not anymore. Our visits have been few and far between, and will continue to be. The food is good, but nothing to write home about. In fact, they consistently WAY over-salt their fries and undercook the burger. I've had to send back my burger more than once because it was literally raw in the center, and I get the same burger back (so gross that they put partially eaten food back on their grill) completely well done (when I asked for medium rare). Also, the super salty fries were once returned completely saltless (we call those FU fries). In my opinion, fine dining establishments should at least be changing their menu out each season. Unfortunately, Josie's leaves me bored and tired of the same old menu, and annoyed that the BOH staff can't seem to fix their regular mistakes."

"Aziz, the owner, met us at the door and walked us to our table. He was also our primary waiter and server. He was energetic, talkative, fun, and personable. Highly recommend any and all of the items on the menu. The gumbo was unbelievable, and the calamari was excellent as well. All three of our main dishes were tasty and the portions were large enough to be filling with leftovers!"

"We enjoyed this place so much that we had to go back twice during our two-week vacation! The view is stunning, and the service from Shannon was exceptional. The entrees were top-notch! We highly recommend the Shrimp and Grits and the Caesar Salad—definitely add the generous portion of blackened salmon to your meal; it was incredible. The chef also provided a delicious, hearty artisan bread loaf accompanied by an irresistible olive oil and balsamic vinegar blend, so tasty that we asked for seconds. It was worth the trip from Bradenton Beach just for that! Whether you visit for lunch (don’t forget to order the bisque!) or dinner, you won’t be disappointed. "Went on a Saturday night at the plaza. Music so reqested a table not too close, and we were seated pretty much at our reservation time. The food is great. The service was also and the server was able to answer all our drink and dinner questions. Only small complaints they do not serve bread even when requested unless you order the bread course. Well the salad(very good) was 6.00 and the bread course was 7.00 doesn 't make sense. The portions are small but reflect the prices also any veg or starch side is extra."

The olive juice in the martinis was old and tasted off. The food... The appetizer was a perfect combination of smokey and cheesey and the balsamic glaze was a nice finish touch to amplify the notes of the mozzarella and prosciutto. Was thoroughly impressed wirh the dish being a chef myself. This set my sights too high I believe as the main dish was sadly sub par to anything ive ever had. As seen from the pics the presentation was sloppy like really sloppy, not even bordering on the thoughts or look of rustic. I ordered the duck. Now i will give them credit for the portion size, although it was cold and the gravy which i assumed to be an attempt on a demi glaze reduction, was not good at all. The sauce had a skin on it and tasted terrible. Sadly took away from the duck all together and ruined the dish atop the already sad presentation. The vegtables were nice. My friend 's dish was actually very tasty. Chicken Alexander I believe. But then again from the pics you can see the sad sloppy set up as if it was from a buffet. Now being a chef my veiws and taste are different as such. But when im charged 25 dollars for a dish it could be done with a little more finesse. Like i said atmosphere was lovely and relaxed. But could be a very amazing experience if the kitchen stepped up a little more."

"On our first visit, the food was decent, but I expected more for the price. The waitstaff made an effort to be friendly, but their attire resembled that of a hot dog stand rather than what you'd expect in a nicer restaurant. Each server seemed to wear whatever they wanted, which I don't blame them for; it appears to be the owner's choice. The highlight of our meal was the water—it was infused with citrus and I absolutely loved it! However, the paper straws did present some sensory issues for me. My husband also felt rushed because our server was ending their shift, even though they reassured him not to hurry. We’ll definitely give this place another try."

"My wife and I found ourselves in a Thanksgiving predicament due to work commitments, hectic travel plans, and taking care of a family member after surgery. Fortunately, our favorite beach bar from the summer came to our rescue with a fully cooked, take-and-bake dinner option. The meal included a fully cooked 12-14 lb turkey, mac and cheese, mashed potatoes, green bean casserole, stuffing, gravy, rolls, and pumpkin pie.
