"My husband works out of our home in Glendora with his team. At least two to three times a week all four of them go for lunch in downtown Glendora. Sometimes I join them. Everyone 's favorite is Luca Bella. It has such a great menu for lunch. The Burrata BLT is perfection. As is the Tomato bisque. The guy 's favorite seems to be the Fire Roasted Jalapeno Chicken Sandwich. They rave about it. (and don 't forget the parmesan fries! Steak salad is also fire! A few months ago we realized that they also have an amazing weekend breakfast menu. Probably the best in town. Sit outside and enjoy a Mimosa flight. Yum Just last night my husband and I were out walking enjoying the beautiful spring weather and decided to walk into town for dinner and we chose Luca Bella. It was my first time eating there in the evening and I thoroughly enjoyed my sea bass and asparagus risotto. My husband asked for his pasta dish to be extra spicy and they complied. He was a very happy man! I 'm going to end this very long review with a comment on the service. Not one time in all the times we have been there, have we ever had less than stellar service!!! Super friendly, helpful, professional. I don 't care how good the food is at a place if the service is not just as good, that 's what you remember. Not the food... the cranky staff. That is not the case at Luca Bella. They are amazing. "We walked in, weren 't sure if we were supposed to seat ourselves or not, then approached the bar to ask. You do seat yourself. We sat at the booths toward the entrance, and all of them had something wrong with them (cushions falling off, uneven on the ground/wobbly, etc. . We waited for someone to come to take our order, they knew we were there. We literally found a menu on the floor to use because there wasn 't a server, host, or any available at the table. It took almost 10 minutes for someone to come ask what we wanted to drink. The only problem was, they got 1 persons drink order walked away from our table with 4 people at it. We stopped him, got all 3 in. When he came back, he put the drinks down, said enjoy, and quickly walked away. This all should 've been enough red flags to leave, but we figured, everyone has a bad day, right? Well, no one came back. We had to go up to the bar to put in our order. They 're out of what I wanted, so we put in our appetizer and kids meal first. She said she 'd come over in 5 minutes to get the rest of the order since I now have to pick something else to eat. She never came. A third employee delivered our app and kids meal, and he offered to take our order. He was the kindest of them all. He actually stood there for the 30 seconds it took to order and asked us if there was anything else we needed. Sweet! Well, we cut into our conch fritters, and they were liquid inside. It looked like a puff on the outside slaw on the inside. We cut into the rest all of them were the same. We tasted it to figure out if it was just this type of fritter or if it wasn 't cooked all the way. It was complete batter. The app and kids meal came out in a short time, so we figured the other 2 items may be out quickly as well, so we waited to bring it to their attention in hopes the kind guy would be back. After about 10 minutes, we took it back up to the bar since we didn 't get our entrees yet. No biggie, entrees should take longer than a kids meal fried app. When we did get our entrees, it was lackluster. Maybe it was the food, maybe it was the experience thus far. After the entrees were delivered, we got the app back it was still undercooked. The outside was significantly darker, so the oil in the fryer was too hot. It 's almost burning the outside while leaving the inside undercooked. Easy fix for them for the future, so that 's good. We ran out of our drinks, but no one was checking on our table, so we went the rest of the meal without drinks. We had to go get our check from a fourth employee at the bar. We 're visiting the area. With the hotels around, they have a big opportunity to be great with just a bit more management oversight. We had kids with us it smelled like cigarette smoke toward the back, though we didn 't see anyone actively smoking indoors.
