"This charming Italian restaurant has a nostalgic ambiance that transports you to a different era. Despite it being a quiet lunch on a snowy day, the food was excellent. The bread was fresh and tasty, the homemade minestrone was light and aromatic, and the shrimp were superb. It was my girlfriend's birthday and our waiter surprised us with a delightful dessert adorned with a chocolate message. We will definitely be returning in the future."

Great food and service. Very friendly staff and very accommodating for our two children. We all ate until we were full and went into our pockets with two more meals worth of food. Great neighborhood restaurant and good Italian food. I would recommend the Calimari as a starter who can keep up with the best that Chicago has to offer. We will come back 10 out of 10 experiences! ????????

The food was very tasty. I recommend the Parmigiano veal. Our server was personable and helpful with the menu. Since it was NYE, I was nervous about the seats available, but my wife and I were in a cabin that was comfortable enough for two other guests. The prices were very reasonable, but the food didn't suffer. All around a great experience and a great, unpretentious neighborhood restaurant.
