"I arrived at my 7:45 reservation for a table of 3. It took about 20 minutes for someone to take our order, and from there, everything went downhill. We had to wait an hour and a half for our food to arrive. Despite the restaurant being busy, waiting that long for two steaks, some pasta, and three sides is unacceptable. We also ordered a bottle of wine for two of us, which was empty before our food even arrived. Overall, I was extremely disappointed with the experience and would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. I would rate this place an F in all aspects."

"We had a reservation and had to wait almost 40 minutes past our reservation time to get our table. It was freezing outside in the waiting area with no heaters. They did give us one glass of free champagne, but I more wish we had been taken to our seat promptly. The food was not good. One of the hosts was apparently best friends with the table right next to us, so when we did sit down, we had to spend a good half hour to 45 minutes listening to them LOUDLY talk about some sandwich business he was opening. It was so loud my tablemate and I had to stop talking because we could not hear each other. Finally our reservation was over and the restaurant was nearly empty. There was no one waiting. We asked for one more glass of champagne... and were told no because there were dinner reservations. My friend used the restroom and about five minutes later, there was still no one waiting for a table and the place was even more empty, so we asked again. They finally saw how ridiculous they were being and served us another glass. It was quite strange and they were definitely playing games, which certainly do not benefit them during a pandemic. With so many other good restaurants in the area, this is one to avoid."

"At the first visit of this place and will absolutely not come back. The service from the host stood up to our server Luis was very moderate. When we weren't greeted, I asked the host if they came a server and their answer was I forgot to say your server. Luis took care of us, the best of his ability, but one could say that it was the end of his shift. Half of our food came cold and our drinks lasted 18 minutes before we met the table. The Mimosa flight was a mistake, but the spicy **** Marys were a hit. If you visit this location, do not sit in the candle room as you will forget. Total experience was 1/10"

"Husband and I came to town to enjoy some food and theater. This was our Date night to kick off our trip. The ambience of the place is spectacular. There seemed to be an issue with the Front of House and the Maitre D that evening. We were seated, then told to vacate where we were sitting. Finally sat down, given a wine menu……. And ten minutes later given ANOTHER wine menu (without someone asking for our drink order). About fifteen more minutes before I was wondering if a menu was going to appear. I ordered the Lettuce Salad which was very nice. Then I just ordered another app for my entree… as the service seemed wonky and I’m leery of investing time and money when things aren’t headed in a positive direction. The white asparagus was on the old and fibrous side and over grilled. I had three bites, had the husband try it… and left it alone. The sparkling water was delicious and quenched my thirst! After our table was bussed from dinner… we waited about twenty minutes before getting up to search for someone to help us get our bill.Ambience was spectacular…. Maybe if they made more spectacle of the bad service they could make it part of the experience?"

"Came for our birthdays. The restaurant is right on the water which is great. Not sure if the restaurant has an identity crisis but it has white table clothes which look awesome... but your sitting on a plastic chair? Service was fine, they sang happy birthday and brought us a piece of cake. Very kind and thoughtful. The food... the food is where I draw the line. It was poor at best. My rabbit was dry and over the top salty while the chicken was tasteless and bland. I don’t meant to say these things in spite or to cause harm. Merely want others to know it’s not worth the 100$USD for a table for two."

"I went recently for breakfast. It was not busy at the time of our arrival. The positives of the experience include that the food was good enough. It was very reminiscent of an average diner breakfast. The server also had a pleasant attitude. The negatives of the visit include that despite the friendly atmosphere, service was slow and basic requests were either late to be fulfilled or not at all. I had asked for artificial sweetener for my coffee right after the first cup was poured and our server brought it with my meal, so I had to wait to drink my now warm coffee while waiting for breakfast. I had four toast slices with my breakfast and it took two to use to eat with my eggs, so I requested a jelly for my final two slices. The jelly never came. While overall that would not have made the visit too bad, what really bothered me was the price. My 2 egg meal is advertised as coming with a meat, home fries/hash browns, and toast for 8.50. Our server asked if I'd like onions in my home fries and I said yes. At the end, looking at the bill, I noticed my breakfast was 8.50 and then the home fries added 2 and the onions added .50. I also never received more than a single cup of coffee, which is a first in all my substantial diner experience. Overall, two of us had two basic breakfasts and two coffees and the total price was 35. That is far too expensive for an average diner breakfast. Overall I give it 3 stars generously, but I would not personally return."

"I really hate leaving negative reviews but, We went with my father after a 9/11 memorial service.. food was overpriced, mediocre and staff with the exception of the hostess who seated us were VERY unpleasant, borderline outright rude. Service was minimally ok, although I found it very irritating that when paying the waitress stood behind me looking at the handheld device the entire time to see what we were tipping her, when I was trying to figure that out myself. I asked her to come back, she said ok and then never went anywhere, continued to stand behind me watching. I have worked as a server for several years and that Is one thing I would never do. It made me very uncomfortable and it absolutely affected her tip. On the way out the door another older waitress was cleaning off tables and not paying attention to where she was going and nearly barreled me down, then got a really nasty attitude with me for being in her way. When they had us move our table in the beginning to accommodate a larger party we didn't mind it, but the lack of professionalism in there is terrible, we will definitely NOT be returning"

"I've dined here numerous times, and my favorite dish is the trout—it never disappoints. The steaks are fantastic as well. The service is outstanding; even during busy times, the food always arrives hot and fresh. Chef Cody maintains high standards, which reflects in both the staff and the cuisine. I really enjoy the Mexican martinis, although I find the margaritas a bit too mixed for my liking. However, the Sangria is the best I've ever tasted! I appreciate the variety on the menu, and I love that Cody is always willing to think outside the box and suggest a "mixed grill" or something special he thinks I might enjoy. And I must say, the blueberry bread pudding is absolutely divine!"

"We went there for Valentine's Day dinner. We had a reservation for 8:15pm, but were made to wait for over 20 minutes for a table. There was live music in the form of a lady with a guitar who was singing love songs (at least I think she was, because the sound was too loud and one could not make out most of her words). The table next to us, a young couple, jokingly suggested turning off the amp when the singer went on a break. The restaurant was obviously not equipped to handle the crowd, and as a result the service was slow and spotty. The food was fairly good, the only saving grace that prevented the evening from being a total disaster. Needless to say, we will not be going to this restaurant again."

"We love going to Ye Olde Kings Head for afternoon tea because the food is delicious and the service is impeccable. The tea is piping hot and the champagne is perfectly chilled. "Happy to get one of only two available parking spaces and ate on the patio. Server was excellent. My companion is a Mediterranean food aficionado and she said the food was just OK. We had hummus, ziziki, tabouli, pita, falafel, salad, grilledveggies, grilled asparagus, and sweet potato fries. The tabouli has a wonderful citrus zing to it, one of the best tabouli I'vehad. Reducing by one star due to companion's disappointment in food taste. "For my main course, I enjoyed falafel, a salad, another salad with salmon, and a Greek chicken pita wrap accompanied by roasted potato salad. Everything was delicious and exceptionally fresh, making it tough to choose what to order since all the options sounded so appealing. The drink selection is limited to water, flavored sparkling seltzers, and juice, which I appreciated for its health-conscious nature—there didn't appear to be any sugary sodas on the menu. I also liked that the water is served in aluminum cans, keeping it cold, and aluminum is infinitely recyclable, unlike plastic. The staff was very friendly, always smiling and eager to assist with any questions about the menu. If you enjoy Mediterranean cuisine, this place is a must-visit. I give it five stars!"
