"We had a great experience at this restaurant. Our servers were Mary Lou and Omar, both of whom were fantastic and happy to discuss the menu offerings. My wife and I both ordered the "Knife and Fork-Inn Dinner," which included corn and crabs, mozzarella tomato salad, lobster thermidor, and an 8oz filet. We also had two sides: Brussels sprouts and pommes soufflé. The steak was slightly overcooked, but the high quality of the meat made it still enjoyable. The pommes soufflé was crispy and delicious, the lobster was perfectly cooked, and the Brussels sprouts were crispy and well-seasoned. For dessert, the tres leches was good but not authentic, and the berry Neapolitan was very tasty. There was a bit of a disturbance during the meal when a guest started talking loudly, but the manager promptly apologized without being rude. The valet parking was convenient, as parking can be difficult to find. Overall, we would definitely return to this restaurant."

"We had a great time trying the guacamole and salsa. The medium guacamole had a nice level of spice. Each of us ordered a variety of enchiladas and tacos and shared them so we could taste a bit of everything. The service was fast, which could be helpful for those with evening plans. The only downside was that the restaurant was a bit noisy, making it hard to hear each other at the table."

"Grill CIR was a bit difficult to find when not from the area. However, our server and even the front end lady were extremely helpful and kind during our 4 person visit. They were quite friendly and truly cared about our evening meal. They assisted with special accommodations with no fuss and a smile! The food was fantastic with a Butter White Wine sauce Shrimp Scampi and a wonderful Clam Chowder on the side (accommodated mozzarella cheese to top with)! Highly recommend and I would return to try some of their other dishes!"

"Wow! My husband and I decided to take a trip to Elmwood Park and stroll through the neighborhood. We usually stop at Johnny's for a beef sandwich, but we opted to try this place instead after hearing from the cashier about their long history and how fantastic their pizza supposedly is. We were informed that we would have to wait 15 minutes for a fresh slice of cheese and sausage pizza, so we patiently waited. When my husband finally got the slice, it wasn't even warm! It was cold, old, and tasted like cardboard, with something that barely resembled cheese on top. It was so awful that we couldn't finish even one bite. The owners seem too stingy to replace a bad slice, not realizing that this will eventually catch up with them. The pizza here tastes terrible, and I can't understand how they've managed to stay in business for so long. If they continue down this path, they won't be around much longer. I'm so upset that I wish they would just close their doors. They keep their customers waiting for a fresh slice, only to serve up this old, cold mess. There were no apologies, no offers to replace what we paid for, just complete indifference. If you doubt my review, just look at the other comments and reviews from customers who have had similar experiences. One comment even corroborated my thoughts about the pizza being old. How can they justify serving such low-quality food? So, if you're thinking about dining at this restaurant, my advice is to run as fast as you can, like the last two monkeys trying to board Noah's Ark before the rain starts! It's a hard pass from me! You've been warned—enter at your own risk! I'll be disputing the charge with my bank because I refuse to pay for such terrible food!"

"I tried Villa Milano's Pizza tonight for the very 1st time. Not only was it delivered in record time but it was also delivered hot and absolutely everything we ordered was amazing and so delicious. They exceeded all of my expectations which are normally pretty high. We ordered Buffalo wings, the fried dough and the Al Pollo white pizza. I originally placed my order online and then followed up by calling the restaurant because I wanted to make sure they included paper plates and cutlery. They were so nice when I spoke to them and I received everything I asked for plus more. I will recommend Villa Milano's Pizza to everybody. What an amazing 1st Experience! Thank you Villa Milano's. I can promise you we will be back again soon! Keep be amazing!!!!!"

"make sure they order drinks from the bar that they don't get sugar, water and ice. had the worst simple cocktails of our life (ginn and tonikum and a mosque maultier) and they were tasteless watered down with really bad ingredients that just tasted like sugar and nothing else. and be careful when you ask for a mosque maultier, they give you this drink. that is very similar, but from the menu and costs it over $14. They make their mosque mault with ginger-ale and it is not worth $14. it is not even worth the water they put in the drink. you're better on the wine menu. it was a very busy night and we did not try to cheat, but when the bill came, I was a little shocked. fortunately, a manager helped us, but it was at the end of the night when we left. it is not the quality experience that I associate with this place. also their vegan and vegetarian menu is extremely boring, although the items on them are very good. it has the same three vegan items for over 10 years. I feel like there might be a little more fantasy in this department, especially because the three elements are almost exactly the same, except the order in which they are presented."

"ABSOLUTELY THE WORST RESTAURANT IN JACKSONVILLE!!!!!!!!!!!! SANITATION GRADE 86 I don’t usually leave reviews unless they are good ones but after seeing the review made by a Selina Masale from the same night my family and I were there I have to leave this one star review. The response to Selina’s review was quite obvious it was meant for my party not hers but I thought it interesting that they too had such a similar experience as we did. This will be a lengthy review as we had a very lengthy experience. We arrived at 7 and were seated at 7:40ish, I say seated but the manager told us our tables were ready and pointed us to the back door to go seat ourselves… we placed our order and waited. The server did the bare minimum for us, we waited 30 minutes for refills on our drinks, never checked on us or asked if we needed anything. Ignored us more than anything. At that point we should have left but we had 3 small children who were very hungry and just wanted to get our food so we could eat and get the kids home to bed. When we finally got our food after 9:00(over an hour after placing the order everything was cold. We were also sitting outside in the dark with ZERO lighting having to use our phones flash lights to see the food. Again we should have just left but we were starving at this point and just ate what they served us. The last straw was the server bringing us our bills which she got wrong then telling me mine was going to be charged more and snatching it away from me. I asked to speak to the manager (what a joke . She was full of excuses and attitude telling me it was my fault for coming there to eat. No sincere apologies just rude remarks. She did give us a whopping 25% off of our tickets only after telling us we were warned that they were short staffed. Being short staffed wasn’t the problem, the treatment was the problem. If you don’t have the staff to serve X amount of people then tell them we can’t accommodate your party tonight and we would have gone elsewhere. But they decided to serve us attitude all night instead. From the moment we walked in the door we didn’t feel welcomed but decided to stay being we had family from PA in town who wanted a outdoor dining experience by the water(as we all know this is the only place in Jacksonville that has that The only thing this place has going for it is the view of the river, everything else looks like something from an apocalyptic movie. The building is falling apart, the weeds are overgrown, just gross. We’ve come here a hand full of times over the years and each time we come it’s worse. We will not be returning and will never recommend this place to anyone again, which they will state they are happy about instead of apologizing for their lack of knowing how to run a decent restaurant(as the manager so blatantly said in her response to Selina’s review “I’m glad you feel you would not come back, I don’t think we would like to have you again” any response to my review I sure will be full of attitude and only blaming us for coming rather than taking accountability for the actions of the employees. Terrible management, terrible service, terrible all around. If this isn’t enough to keep you from trying this place out, their sanitation grade is in the 80’s which I didn’t know this until my daughter pointed it out when we were leaving or that would have been enough for me NOT to stay and have to experience what we did. NEVER AGAIN!"

"Chat 19 is my go-to restaurant when I want a local, friendly place for a reliably delicious meal and excellent service. Their menu annotates gluten free dishes, which is much appreciated. The spaghetti squash entree is my favorite! The restaurant gets noisy on Saturday nights around 9 pm when the live band starts playing. We prefer quiet for conversation, so we plan accordingly."

"Food is always good here. Staff is excellent. The biggest downfall is the cleanliness. Bathrooms are bad. Tables are clean but chairs and booths not as much. Decor is dated and worn. It was a bad choice in the 70s hasn't gotten better with age. All that being said want to still say that the staff and food are excellent."

"will not come back. waitstaff is pleasant, but otherwise the best part of the company ends there. came to lunch, floor was so licking it made us wonder when it was w / the frittieröl was debrised? mediocre burger, decent size, but chili cheeseries are only casual aftero chees over a spoon of bland chili ladled. the chili riders as an appetizer, came out after our escapes, and the escapes (2 burgers) were about 45min in wait, although the floor was empty. then waited to pay almost 20min when finished."

The prices are a little on the high end because you can get these same items on the West Side in the hood for half the price, but this is Wicker Park, a high end neighborhood of Chicago, so the prices make sense here. It 's Chicago 's street food. it 's greatly portioned and delicious. The cozy dine in or the cozy patio dining. Right in the center of one of the most bustling neighborhoods in Chicago.
