"We were a little nervous booking after reading mixed reviews but so happy we decided to book our stay here at the Cape Codder Resort. We have a 12 year old and a 6 year old who were also very happy to spend two nights here. To start off check in was swift and easy and we were pleased to learn about all there was to do as a family from the obvious water attractions to movie nights, 24 hr arcade, and on site restaurant. Staff through out our stay were courteous, kind, attentive, and very helpful! Our room was clean and definitely gave the cape cod vibe. The only thing we felt was missing was a microwave in the room to heat up left overs. Water park was a hit. We loved the kiddie area, just the perfect depth for little ones to play safely and slide down water slides, water was also warm which was one of my favorite parts! Lazy River was fun for the family, we spent most of our time there. We also discovered later in our stay a wave pool that our little mermaid enjoyed. Everything during our stay was clean and I was happy to see life guards at every part of the water park. The only part that I felt wasn’t dirty but clearly outdated and rusting a bit was the changing area/restroom found inside water park. I’d advise to just change and bathe in your room which is what we did and we had no problems. Overall we were pleased with our stay and will be booking another stay in the near future!Rooms: CleanNearby activities: On site water park, 24 hr arcade, movies, restaurant, food shack located in water park. Close to cinemas, Main Street, and beaches!Safety: Life guards throughout water park. Rules enforced to ensure safe experience for family which I appreciatedFood drinks: On site restaurant that serves breakfast lunch and dinner!"

"When we found that our room was above some noisy roof top ventilation, we requested to move another room. Reception were able to move us to a quiet location. Unfortunately, despite being a nice room, with comfortable beds and the nice addition of a balcony, there were some negatives to our stay. The main room lacked a rubbish bin and we quickly filled the small bathroom bin until it was overflowing. The bathroom door was a split sliding door, but one side was broken and kept coming off the runner and was very annoying. The pool was lovely and wasn’t busy when we went during the middle of a week day. When we returned to our room to shower we found it had not been cleaned yet. We put the privacy notice on the door just whilst we showered and removed it to go out an hour later. Housekeeping were still working on our floor when we left it, but when we returned that evening we found our room had not been touched. My wife called guest services to ask for some clean towels and inform them that the room had not been serviced. 75 minutes later my wife called them again as no towels had arrived. It was another 30 minutes before we eventually got the towels delivered. The resort fee is very high for what is available we had to ask for the water that was supposed to be provided (and there were no glasses in the room! , we never received any coupon booklet or informed about beach transportation. They partially justify the resort fee with a $20 credit for food/drink, but this is just a tactic to get you to buy their overpriced goods onsite. The self parking is terrible. There is no barrier so the parking is not secure and it cost $40+tax per night! When it poured down with rain the car park was a lake. Would never come back to this hotel again. There are far better Hilton hotels that we have stayed at."
