"From arriving five minutes early to bidding good night three hours later this was the almost perfect evening. The only reason it was not perfect is because in this world nothing perfect exists. From discussing a bottle of 2005 Rioja Riserva we had brought with us to seeking recommendations on cocktails and what to order we were greatly satisfied at every step. The food is always fresh and seasonal. Don't forget to check the charcuterie selections on the board over the bar. The only (very) picky thing is that their depiction of a pig defines Guanciale as Porchetta . In any case it tastes great . Unless you are aiming for steak or Shrimp and grits the menu will satisfy any eater . I discussed whether they had used Provolone or Reggiano Parmigiano in a dish and they quickly produced a slice of The King of Cheeses thus making a liar of my taste buds. All was in good fun and I would recommend this place to anyone. As a bonus , there is a free parking lot behind the restaurant that makes it very convenient to park. Just go!"

"Our server barely spoke more than ten words to us. She didn't greet us or acknowledge our presence. When she asked for our drink order, we still hadn’t received a menu. Although she wasn’t overtly rude, she certainly wasn’t friendly either. The crab cakes were disappointing—there was barely any flavor. My salad arrived without dressing, and when I asked the server for some, she responded, "I wasn't sure what they wanted, so I just brought Caesar." She set it down and walked away before I could reply. The salad was listed as a special and was supposed to come with honey lemon vinaigrette. It took her 20 minutes to return with the bill, and she didn't even offer a farewell or express any gratitude. If the food had been good, I could have overlooked the poor service, or vice versa, but in this case, both were lacking."

"The service was slow, but understandable given the time of day and proximity to Easter. It took half an hour to receive our food. The banh mi did not live up to its description, lacking sliced vegetables and real sauce and resembling more of a Subway sandwich. We purchased two but only got five bites. The hushpuppies were burnt and tough, while the egg rolls were also burnt. The "fried rice" did not deserve the name. Our $100 lunch for a family of four was a major letdown. Is this the new trend in fusion food? The only redeeming dishes were the shrimp basket and the pommes. To the owner: The lack of customer service was disappointing. Once our food was brought to the table, no one returned to check on us. One person delivered our food as if they were inconvenienced. I didn't want to get up and ask for replacements for 75% of our meal and wait another half hour. It seemed like you wouldn't have been able to accommodate us anyway. Thanks for the effort, but we won't be returning. Best of luck."

"I recently visited 1700° Steakhouse and I must say the food was impeccable. The flavors and presentation of the dishes were outstanding, making it one of the best dining experiences in town. However, I must mention that the service was a bit lacking. We had to wait for about 10 minutes just to order our drinks, and it took another 15-20 minutes before we actually received them. Furthermore, it took another 30 minutes before our server came back to take our appetizer order, and we were never served bread until after our appetizers. While the service was not up to par, I must commend the manager, Najib, for saving the night. He was absolutely awesome and personable, providing excellent service and making sure we were taken care of. His presence made up for the shortcomings of our original server. In conclusion, while the service at 1700° Steakhouse needs improvement, the quality of the food is undeniably great. If you are willing to overlook the service aspect, you will have a fantastic dining experience."

"I recently visited Buttermilk Falls Inn Spa for a two night stay. The inn is a very old home converted into a bed and breakfast style experience. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful. The room itself was disappointing from what I expected as far as size and privacy. The room and inn were very clean though. The hot breakfast service and food were definitely the highlights. The hot breakfast was delicious and service was outstanding. There is a buffet available with toast and cereal as well for breakfast but we opted for the hot breakfast both mornings. There is a lot of construction going on along the property so the restaurant was moved in town and the spa to a different location on the grounds. We did not try the spa so cannot speak to that. We were able to walk around the property which was a nice experience. I would recommend the inn if you are looking for a bed and breakfast type of getaway. It is a quiet and relaxing place to get away for a few days."

"My daughter initially planned to have her wedding at Huntington House Inn, but we decided to withdraw due to the owner's poor planning. Unfortunately, we couldn't get our deposit back, so we used the funds for our wedding guests to stay at the inn while we celebrated elsewhere. Regina, the owner, displayed very poor customer service and seemed quite bitter throughout the process, which added unnecessary stress. Other inns in the area were very accommodating to guests, and there are plenty of options nearby that truly appreciate your business and offer a warm welcome. The rooms need maintenance, starting with some updates and fresh paint. Additionally, we experienced a loud humming noise in the bedroom that made it difficult to sleep, and the traffic on the side street was quite hectic. There was also a large pothole right outside with just a cone marking it!"
