"Was looking for a quick meal to grab when I stopped here starving. This Venezuelan eatery offers all the typical fare you?d expect (at great prices) and even has a couple notable specials like 2 of their Engy Hot Dogs with a fountain soda for only $3.99 after 3p.m. I decided to go for their ?You Can?t Eat Just One Empanadita? special to start which includes 3 fried empanadas of your choice and a fountain soda for $3.99. The empanadas were mediocre, nothing special to rave about though I really enjoyed their house sauces served with them which you shouldn?t miss out on! For my entree I decided to get their Steak Pepiarepa $8.99 since I had never seen anything like it before. Their Pepiarepas are fried arepas cut into chunks, cabbage, tomatoes, ham, boiled egg, mustard, ketchup and their house ?engy? sauce so kind of like a deconstructed arepa served in a bowl with your choice of protein. I think I would have preferred ordering a normal stuffed arepa to this even though the flavors and combination were somewhat tasty. Some of the ingredients (like the arepa and steak pieces) were over cooked making it chewy and the whole thing taste pretty second-rate. I did come 30 minutes before closing which I usually try to avoid and maybe is why my meal came out just okay. The staff was very friendly and it was an inviting eatery, but I can?t see myself venturing back any time soon."

"The place looks very nice from the outside, but it is a little small inside, for my taste the outside is better, the truth is I expected more from this place, the service is good... I went for the empanadas because I like them a lot and I wanted to see how good they were there, since I had read about the place, however I arrived around 5:40 and there were very few baked empanadas left and they told me they could only prepare fried ones. Oh, if I wanted them baked I had to order the minimum amount of 6 and return in an hour, because they didn't bring out more, in total I ended up ordering a broccoli and cheese bake of the ones that were ready, one with chicken and one with fried cheese... the truth is for me the fried ones are better, no I know if it's because the baked ones had to take a long time to be ready, I wasn't convinced they were dry, on the other hand the fried ones did have good filling but I still think that $5.99 for each empanada is a little high that price, I ordered a pink sauce and one of cilantro and they charged $0.50 for each one, but they also have sauces in sachets if you want to have them, in total I paid for 3 empanadas and a shake to die for $30.23 including $2 tip, there is no gratuity included, only the taxes... I I ordered and paid at the counter... I hope that if I decide to return again to try other foods I will have better luck. Service: Dine in Price per person: $1–10 Food: 3 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3"

"Leaving this review because they scammed me and my fiancé. We paid $60 for an Oreo cheesecake and instead we were given an Oreo cake. The lady who owns the place claimed she thought it would be better if it was like a regular cake since it was for our 1 year anniversary. When I first requested for her to make the cheesecake, she barely responded then tried to make it my fault, saying I should’ve let her know specifically. She then lied and said she’d compensate us with a free Oreo cheesecake with graham cracker crust but instead of following through, she blocked my number. Not sure why she’d block us even though it was her mess up. Terrible way to run any business.*Tried to post pictures of someone lying to me, but sadly cannot add them.Edit in response to what was written by Hugh: Many lies were written. When I requested the cheesecake, it took the bakery days to respond. Whoever was responding didn’t bother to even ask me anything about the Oreo cheesecake I wanted. On top of that, they’ve lied twice now about making a new cheesecake for me and my fiancé, we have yet to get it and it has been 3 months now. Before even ordering the custom Oreo cheesecake, I ordered a slice on many occasions and it was always made with vanilla cheesecake and graham cracker crust. The people running this bakery just continue to lie to make themselves look better and it’s disgusting. Wasted $70 on a nasty fake Oreo cake despite wanting an Oreo cheesecake. Here are our text word from wordYou: Your review has caught our attention, and there are some miscommunication that we still have to work on. As mentioned once, once we open again this week. We will provide a refund or make the oreo cheesecake with Graham cracker crust. Which is something that we do not always make. It was a special request from someone else who was not able to pick up.Please let us know which route you would like, and your review would hurt our business for an order that was very clear. Thank you for understanding and helping us in areas where we need to improve on, and I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.Me: We’d really like a new cheesecake made. We do love your cheesecake and would be happy to update the review since there was confusion. You: Thank you. We will let you guys know once we have reopenedThis was all said on November 4th. Then on the 23rd I asked for an update and in turn you came and edited your response to this instead of making good on a promise."
