"Got the volcano roll and Philadelphia roll last night. The volcano roll was good but something definitely tasted off about the Philadelphia roll. I’ve had raw fish and different kinds of sushi at other places so I’m sure it wasn’t my taste palette. Another point to mention is that I decided to give this place a try even after my experience from a few weeks ago. My friend and I drove 20 minutes from Joppa, arrived around 9:20 to place an order, and once we walked in the employee looked shocked and asked us to leave because they were closing, even though their hours are listed until 10pm. It would’ve been understandable if they specified they stop taking orders entirely at a different time. But if your website and google both specify 10pm, the time you close should be 10pm. Probably won’t be coming back, there’s better tasting sushi out there for better prices."

"Overall, my experience was satisfactory. The service was okay, but the food options were quite limited, consisting mainly of rolls, nigiri, and edamame. They offered only a select few items. The salad bar was particularly lacking in variety. If they were to expand their menu and improve the bar offerings, they could elevate the experience significantly. "It was our first time there and we needed to learn the ropes regarding their all you can eat plan. Our waitress was well informed and pleasant to deal with. After some discussion we threw caution to the wind and went with the all you can eat. The good, it saved us money, the bad is that it encouraged my husband to eat more than he normally would : so who knows the truth of the matter. I worked with executives from a Japanese firm who would travel to the US a lot. My intro to eating sushi and sashimi was with them. Needless to say, I rarely find any restaurant that can compete with those we went to including Koizi. I will say that Koizi has a very extensive menu with almost every sushi roll you can think of and the quality while not fabulous, it was good, The sashimi was fresh. My advise is stick to oriental selections and don 't bother with the few offerings of north american type foods."

"The dining experience was excellent. The prices range from $30 to $50 per person, which is reasonable for the quality of food. I would give the food a perfect rating of 5, as everything we tried was delicious. The service was quite good as well, with a rating of 4, although there was a bit of a wait at times. The atmosphere also deserves a rating of 4; it was inviting and pleasant. I highly recommend trying the Volcano Roll and the Mandalay Roll—both were standout dishes!"

"We went here for the first time, and it will most likely be our last. The first problem was, there were about ten tables in use, and ours was the only table that didn't have a screaming child sitting at it. So it was loud. I did like the live music, though. Ordered the shrimp bento box. Shrimp were hard, tempura was tasteless and soggy, wontons not cooked all the way through. The fried rice was very good. I tried a bite of my husband's steak and spit it out, as it felt like it had already been chewed by someone else. The wait staff were good, and the bar looked like it was lively, but I wouldn't come here for food again."

"Parking lot is huge you don't have to worry about parking. Customer Service was SUPUERB!!!! Hours are 11am-230pm then 430-10pm So don't miss that. We were greeted as soon as we walked in. It was so welcoming. It was quiet in the hibachi area, only 2 other families were there. The inside of the building is so huge, its the best place for a date night,birthday party, event, dinner etc. Hoho was our cook and he was so fun and polite. They don't serve liquor but you do get complimentary beer. The Japanese beer is really good and goes well with the food. Hubs did chicken and shrimp,I did filet mignon and let me tell you...my small leftovers was still so good and moist and amazing 3 days later. You get a huge portion and it was so so good. The soup is my favorite. It's seasoned to perfection and...I didn't try the salad. I'm picky about textures. The noodles were cooked well and the ambiance was the best. Its a cute place for pics too. I will be back ,because I've been craving it and it's only been a week. You have been #ElleConnected make sure you try this spot, its amazing."

"I brought my parents here on Saturday night. the place is clean and the waitress on the staff super sweet. they placed a small paper menu, then a laminated menu on the tables for us. We ordered from another paper menu. eating is good, I'd come back for a quick bite, but then we asked for the check. There's a problem here. the prices are not so advertised! Not even were we told a roll that would be advertised at $10.00 actually $12.95 no where on the 3 menus the prices were either darkened or the quote prices that were changed without notice. we felt like sacrifice when we had already eaten and now we were stuck with a bill that we did not expect. the waitress noticed us to look and then said that they had been raised, she looked sad that she had to say this, no debt to her this is peculiar and management's problem. simple honesty is appreciated nowadays and I would go back when the prices were so advertised, but the bait and switch is the deal breaker."

"I've been there probably a total of four times every time it's the same experience, it's a very run-down looking abandoned place with not one person in it but every time I order the sesame chicken it comes out amazing and the same every time. the crab rangoons are also very good. Prices are a little higher than i would like, i would probably eat there more often if they were cheaper"

"I had a wonderful experience at Raku Sushi. I had visited a while back and heard they offered a vegetarian menu, but I was disappointed with the dough used in their tempura. Initially, the servers were unsure, but Tiffany was very helpful in explaining the vegan options. The vegetarian tempura uses only flour and no egg. Most of the rolls are vegan, except for the Futomaki which contains egg. Tiffany also informed us that the fried banana and sesame ball on the dessert menu are vegan, while the teriyaki sauce (not used on vegetarian items) contains chicken broth and is not vegan. The rolls were all delicious, with unique flavors. My favorites were the Wakami Walnut and Green Eye Roll. There is also an option to customize your meal according to your dietary preferences. I can't wait to return!"

"The sushi here is fantastic; the fish is fresh, and the rolls are outstanding. I chose the special roll combo, which featured shrimp tempura, mango spicy salmon, and eel avocado rolls. I also ordered a spicy kani salad. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is that the kani salad could have had a bit more crab in it, although it was still quite delicious. The meal also came with a nice miso soup and a side salad. Additionally, the woman I spoke with was very kind and friendly. Overall, I highly recommend this place and look forward to ordering from them again soon."

"We always have a good time here. The food is usually good but on multiple occasions it takes about 30 minutes to get our food, they say we got it when we didn't, they charge us for a more expensive meal time and I usually don't get the drink that I ask for. Saving grace is that there are a few people who work there that are excellent.Vegetarian options: They have avocado rolls and cucumber rolls(these aren't that great)Kid-friendliness: Some of the staff are so sweet to kids, and they offer lolipops if they are good. Our son even got a balloon once. No kids menu but they do have fried rice."

"Truly fine food served in a very professional manner at an historic setting. A walk through the grounds and seeing the historical pictures are a must. When we entered the Garden Patio there was a smoke from a decorative fire that was taken care of when we commented as we were seated. The food served was perfectly created and each of four different requests were thoroughly enjoyed."
