"Starting with the Gyros: they boast fantastic flavor, are well-made, and consistently good. The Chicken Shawarma Sandwich is simply incredible. Compared to other local spots, Dino's shawarma is in a league of its own. Even the mild spice packs a rich, full flavor that sets the standard for all other shawarmas. As for the Greek fries, you truly get your money's worth! While other places might provide a tiny takeout container, Dino's offers a large portion overflowing with fries and generously topped with feta cheese. Their Indian food is excellent as well. We only tried it recently when we placed a large order for Thanksgiving, and I can't find the words to do justice to the quality we received. The Lamb Vindaloo was the best I’ve had in years; the lamb was buttery soft and cooked to perfection, while the potatoes maintained a good texture. The Chicken Tikka Masala was equally fantastic, with a sauce that was intricately spiced, likely the best I’ve had in years. Their ice cream is delicious, but the portion size for the price doesn’t quite feel right to me. It’s still worth a try, though, so you can form your own opinion. That said, the service can sometimes be disappointing. When ordering online for pickup, you might find that they’re out of something you wanted by the time you arrive. Online orders are often not ready when scheduled; I've shown up to pick up my order at the right time only to find that they hadn’t even started making it. The same goes for delivery orders through DoorDash or GrubHub—you might find yourself waiting longer than expected. However, there is a workaround: just call them! I know, talking on the phone can be annoying, but if you call in your order, you’ll be informed about any items that might be out of stock, and your order will actually be ready when you arrive. You’ll still need to pick it up yourself, but this way, there won’t be any surprises. The service issues are somewhat understandable; for a while, it seems only one woman has been working there every day. They’ve recently hired a new employee, so hopefully, that will lead to an improvement in service now that one person won't have to handle everything."

"This review is an assessment of the new Philly Grill located next to Schnucks on the north side of Route 41. As Philadelphia natives, we have always been skeptical of anything claiming to be "Philly" outside of the Philadelphia area. We went into dinner with low expectations and a small amount of hope. The bottom line is this: the steak sandwiches may be smaller than Philly standards, but they are authentic, including the Amoroso's roll, which is the only legitimate choice for a Philly steak or cheesesteak sandwich. The flavor is spot on. We ordered the sandwich with sweet peppers and raw onions (standard), and added provolone cheese as an acceptable alternative to the original cheese whiz. The sandwiches are available in 6-inch or 9-inch sizes. While 12 inches is the norm in Philly, the 6-inch size is adequate for those who prefer smaller portions. Adding extra meat is an option, but not necessary. I give them a 90% (A) for the steak sandwich. In comparison, Subway would receive an F. We also tried a 6-inch hoagie, which I would rate as a B, better than Subway's but not quite as good as what you would find back home. However, it's still one of the best hoagies in town and is served on an Amoroso roll. I would deduct a bit for offering Nathan's hotdogs (a NYC staple, not a Philly one) and for not having Tastykake crimpets or real Philly soft pretzels, but these are minor changes they could easily make. Oh, and they also offer a grilled hoagie, which is a big no-no in Philly."
