"This review is an assessment of the new Philly Grill located next to Schnucks on the north side of Route 41. As Philadelphia natives, we have always been skeptical of anything claiming to be "Philly" outside of the Philadelphia area. We went into dinner with low expectations and a small amount of hope. The bottom line is this: the steak sandwiches may be smaller than Philly standards, but they are authentic, including the Amoroso's roll, which is the only legitimate choice for a Philly steak or cheesesteak sandwich. The flavor is spot on. We ordered the sandwich with sweet peppers and raw onions (standard), and added provolone cheese as an acceptable alternative to the original cheese whiz. The sandwiches are available in 6-inch or 9-inch sizes. While 12 inches is the norm in Philly, the 6-inch size is adequate for those who prefer smaller portions. Adding extra meat is an option, but not necessary. I give them a 90% (A) for the steak sandwich. In comparison, Subway would receive an F. We also tried a 6-inch hoagie, which I would rate as a B, better than Subway's but not quite as good as what you would find back home. However, it's still one of the best hoagies in town and is served on an Amoroso roll. I would deduct a bit for offering Nathan's hotdogs (a NYC staple, not a Philly one) and for not having Tastykake crimpets or real Philly soft pretzels, but these are minor changes they could easily make. Oh, and they also offer a grilled hoagie, which is a big no-no in Philly."

The sandwiches are consistently fantastic. If you're a fan of crinkle fries, these are definitely the best in town.

There is a convenience fee and a take out fee when ordering online so just for this I won't be ordering from them again. View menu

In town for work and these cheesesteaks are garbage. No grease, skimp on the grilled onions and no cheese oozing from my Sandwich.

Sunset Crews is a great place to have fun! The line at the bar can get quite long, so consider ordering two drinks while you're there!

I spent $65 on my meal, and I was surprised to find that I had to pay extra for condiments. At that price, I believe condiments should be complimentary. View menu

Here's my review. The Philly cheesesteak was delicious. It's served on a hoagie bun that is soft with light toasting. The crinkle fries, sorry Shaun, were cooked well and not greasy. I also ordered fried mushrooms. They aren't like Frontier's or Rockport gas station, but still good. They were crispy and fried well. The horseradish sauce that came with it was good and not over powering. I came mid afternoon pretty quiet in here. Tea was fresh. They have tvs but no sound. It would be a good place to come and eat with a date and be able to talk and hear each other. Thumbs up from me.

We had seen this restaurant several times on our way to Schnuck’s. Today we decided to try it for dinner. The employee’s working were friendly and when they weren’t busy with customers they were making sure the dining area was clean. It took 19-15 minutes to receive our foo but when it came out everything g we ordered was freshly made. My Philly sub was really good and I enjoyed a side order of the loaded tater tots. My guests had the double chicken sandwich and really enjoyed it as well. We ordered large orders of fries and I can say, they are a very good sized portion. For two of us to dine it was $44.00 so it can be a bit expensive for fast food, but everything did taste really good. We w...

"Food is great. Service ranges from so-so to fantastic. They have had fantastic servers and then we have had the rudest little girls working the front counter that I've ever experienced at any other fast food restaurant LOL We had decided we were never going to go back after the last rude employee we experienced(we actually walked out!)but their tenderloin sandwiches are so good, we gave it another try and it didn't disappoint! I ALSO did happen to leave my wallet in the restaurant this last time. When I called the next day they told me that they didn't have it. After driving to the restaurant and talking to the general manager, we were able to track my wallet down from another employee who had put it in a safe spot the night before. It was only due to the lack of communication that they thought my wallet wasn't there. The manager called us right away to let us know that they found it and when I got there all of my money and my cards were still inside! This is a great little place to have some good food and watch some sports on their many televisions. Our servers have always been fantastic and honestly I think it's due to the age and the immaturity of some of the young kids working that can put a bad taste in your mouth. Sometimes kids just don't know any better and hopefully they will learn with experience. I would definitely recommend giving this place a shot!"
