"This review is an assessment of the new Philly Grill located next to Schnucks on the north side of Route 41. As Philadelphia natives, we have always been skeptical of anything claiming to be "Philly" outside of the Philadelphia area. We went into dinner with low expectations and a small amount of hope. The bottom line is this: the steak sandwiches may be smaller than Philly standards, but they are authentic, including the Amoroso's roll, which is the only legitimate choice for a Philly steak or cheesesteak sandwich. The flavor is spot on. We ordered the sandwich with sweet peppers and raw onions (standard), and added provolone cheese as an acceptable alternative to the original cheese whiz. The sandwiches are available in 6-inch or 9-inch sizes. While 12 inches is the norm in Philly, the 6-inch size is adequate for those who prefer smaller portions. Adding extra meat is an option, but not necessary. I give them a 90% (A) for the steak sandwich. In comparison, Subway would receive an F. We also tried a 6-inch hoagie, which I would rate as a B, better than Subway's but not quite as good as what you would find back home. However, it's still one of the best hoagies in town and is served on an Amoroso roll. I would deduct a bit for offering Nathan's hotdogs (a NYC staple, not a Philly one) and for not having Tastykake crimpets or real Philly soft pretzels, but these are minor changes they could easily make. Oh, and they also offer a grilled hoagie, which is a big no-no in Philly."

"Picture this: It 's 2:45 am; the party has reached its conclusion all those LA 'friends ' you had over but bound to never see (aside from like 3) leave, and you 're left alone by your side, completely sozzled; You limber up; up half way up off the rug, your palate has an awakening. Your mind 's I floodgates have opened wide: your norepinephrine and dopamine receptors overflow and you feel a tingling sensation in your mouth: You begin salivating like a pavlov dog. And you are left in a big dilemma. You 're crunk. Drunk. And in a bind. Yes, those 49 cent insta ramen, will do, but you can do one better because you didn 't drop 80k dollars on a degree, and moved to LA only work a comfy job doing gig work and eat community college survival kits! No. You 're better than that.Just kidding. You 're not, but, fortunately for you,you just got that 350$ 'inflation relief ' debit card coincidentally (or strategically bequeathed right before the election ', and you have like a buck fifty left.It 's time to spurge mother f 'ers! Yipee Kiyay! But hold 'up! Stop the presses! Don 't most pizza joints close the blinds by like 2;00 am?Well, yes, but fortunately for you, you can have Classic Pizza and they deliver until 3:00 am!And Aside from the most generic name for a pizza restaurant, their bbq chicken pizza is actually pretty damn good. And as long as you 're sticking to the pizzas, you 'll be fine.Just avoid the desserts. Even when you 're drunk, you can taste the refrigerator burn from it.4/5"

"We used Open Table to book a reservation for 6:30pm on a Saturday but we arrived a little early and were seated right away. For appetizers we chose the fried pickle chips and the blistered balsamic brussels. They were both delicious. The fried pickles were from the munchies section of the menu where the brussel sprouts were from the shareables so the portion size was definitely different, but that was ok because we were sharing both of them. Our entree selection consisted of the grilled yellow fin tuna tacos and the Hot Nash breaded chicken sandwich. The taco dish came with 3 tacos with a nice portion of fresh tuna slices. The mango jalapeí±o salsa on the tacos was sweet, not hot or spicy at all. I enjoyed the tacos. They did not come with a side dish so I added the sweet potato “waffle” fries. They were not actually waffle fries, they were crinkle cut fries, but regardless I could’ve eaten an entire barrel of them because they were amazing! My fiancé ended up ordering the Hot Nash breaded chicken sandwich because even though it was not even 7pm they were out of both the beer battered cod dinner and the salmon special. They are not kidding with the name Hot Nash. The dry seasoning they apply to chicken coating has a kick to it. The chicken inside the breading/coating was perfectly cooked and juicy. The sandwich though could’ve used some kind of sauce (maybe the avocado ranch they have) to counteract the dry coating. The sandwich came with thin cut fries. Overall we had a good experience. Our server Kayla was friendly but clearly busy. It looked like it was only her one other female taking care of the entire dining room. That being said, the two of them appeared to work as a great team and helped take care of each other’s tables. When we first arrived the music did seem a bit loud but then after a while it got better. Overall we had a good experience and plan to return. We felt that for what we ordered (4 drinks, 2 apps, 2 dinners) our $100-ish tab was a fair price"
