"I have always enjoyed their food; everything tastes great, and my favorite dish is the chicken shawarma plate. I’ve been a loyal customer for years and have never had any issues with their food. However, recently, I ordered the chicken shawarma plate, as I usually do, for myself and my family. Unfortunately, we all ended up experiencing some form of food poisoning. We were extremely sick, dealing with severe constipation that even led to some unfortunate accidents in public. We are currently keeping an eye on our health and hoping that we haven't contracted anything serious."

"Was in town for work and found this little hidden gem. The staff here was super friendly and helpful with my questions. Now this place is pretty tiny but does have a little bit of seating available. The food menu is pretty extensive but as someone who doesn't drink soda, drink options were pretty non-existent. I got the chicken gyro with a side of rice. The gyro was delicious!! Highly would recommend them, super juicy, great sauce compliments and nice fresh pita and veggies. Now the rice was not as popping. It was very dry and stiff, very bland and after one bite I didn't eat the rest."

"this review is painful to write because I always came here with my children and we all loved it. but recently the quality has gone very downhill. the portion sizes for their chicken ktikka masala are chicken scraped in a pool of soße. the last time I ordered that I spent $40 on a burned naan with the worst part I've ever seen on a teller. it hurts to see how far this place has fallen. it seems that they have stopped providing quality and instead pumping out of the unedible naan and try to express as little portion as possible. we eat here because this place is halal, but benefiting from this terrible service is hate."

"It's important not to give every restaurant a five-star rating without justification, because then when you encounter something truly exceptional like this salad, it really deserves the accolades. You all nailed it! I'm going to be ordering this regularly. Additionally, if you have an autoimmune condition and are sensitive to changes in the weather, a salad like this can help reduce inflammation. I could actually feel my inflammation decreasing, and my body felt more relaxed. Red onions and cucumbers are fantastic for inflammation and also provide hydration if you're feeling dehydrated."

"Today 02/20/2024 was my first time ordering from this Buddy's I usually order from the one on 91st and Appleton which has no affiliation with this one. I spent 72 dollars and some change and the food was horrible. I ordered a Seafood combo,6 pc Chicken mixed,2 Cheeseburger meals and a Philly Steak sandwich and the Seafood combo was supposed to be 3pc perch and 4 jumbo shrimp instead I got some baby Shrimp with old hard French Fries. All the dinners were plain no seasoning was put on food at ALL as well as all the Fries on every dinner was old and hard. If I had a ride up there I would have took this food up there and threw it at them. I would never order food from here again I even told the Owner/Manager this was my first time ordering from them and he stated his food would make me stop going to the Buddy's by my house and start coming to his Buddy's restaurant which are not affiliated with each other. This food was a complete waste of my money Never Ever Ever going back lesson learned I also have pictures but I don't see a place where I can post pictures otherwise I would definitely post. HORRIBLE FOOD HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE"

"This place was recommended by a friend. I cannot share in recommending this place. I agree with the person who said do not get the chicken tenders or boneless chicken. The chicken nuggets are indeed, huge. But being so huge they are difficult to eat like nuggets. They also have to be cooked longer, which can cause overcooking. Two were inedible tough from being overcooked. The breading is thin and inconsistent which wouldn't bother me EXCEPT the chicken was tough. . They were not crispy not an issue if you can still eat them.The wedges were super thick and breaded with a flavorless breading. The breading was crispy. But I don't want to shove a quarter of potato in my face with each bite.My advice is to keep the portions the same, but instead double the amount provided at price points while halving the size of each peace. Each of my 6 nuggets would have been better as 12 half the size, with a shorter cook. And the 4 wedges would have been better as 6 8 thinner wedges.Also, spice it up. The Hot Buffalo wasn't very hot and there was no spice on the wedges.The whole operation made me miss Chester's Chicken and wedges..Vegetarian options: None to speak of. "The woman who answered the phone and took my order was very ghetto and rude! Not only that but when our food got to our location it was cold, the lettuce on my sandwich was literally brown like it had sat out all day long. When I called to let them know how my food was the lady hung up in my face. Y'all need to train your cashier/ order takers on customer service because they're LACKING THAT SKILL.
