"I am baffled at the obsession that everything must have cheese on it. I ordered two 1/4 pound hamburgers I emphasize hamburgers. I explained I wanted one plain, meat and bun only; no cheese! The second was with lettuce, spread, pickle, and whatever; again no cheese. I also ordered a chicken and chips which saved the meal. When I paid, the cashier seemed to confirm the order was for 2 hamburgers, one specifically plain. My instinct was to check the order before leaving the window but I was tired from Friday traffic and hungry, so I just headed home. Oh what a surprise, both were imbedded with cheese. I could have returned but going back, explaining the staff 's zeal to make everything with cheese, and going home to eat would have left me in a fouler mood than right now. I simply do not like cheese, nor anything else on my hamburger. It 's bad enough to get the disbelieving looks that I would actually like to eat a plain hamburger but when the staff tries to second guess what I want and smother it with cheese, I get a little irate. Rather than make a scene, I can vent on your website that has been graciously offered. I do not appreciate wasting money on food I cannot (or will not) eat, anymore than I enjoy wasting time and gas to return to have someone get the order right the second or third time. Burgerville is not unique to this problem but I would love an explanation as to how one may place an order and have it filled correctly. My line for decades has been, I want a hamburger plain and dry, nothing on it; just the meat and the bun. The usual response beyond the perplexed look is, Do you want cheese on it? . Restraining the urge to inquiry about hearing loss, I confirm, No cheese. Plain and dry, just the meat and the bun; no cheese. Alas, the staff who obviously are subsidized by the dairy industry, melts cheese into every book and cranny. Given the wages that must be paid, l would think employee training work include customer satisfaction like giving the customer what they ordered or explaining why the request cannot be fulfilled. Your staff let you down, and flogging is no longer a permitted option. That said, how can I get what I ordered prepared and presented properly? "These guys will make you good food AND help you push your broken down car through the drive through. I?ve been a fan of Burgerville for a good long while, they are my preferred fast food joint by a country mile. With a menu that caters to a wide array of dietary needs (they have good gluten free buns and a delicious vegetarian burger option) and that boasts a number of local and seasonal items (such as Marionberry shakes), they?re hard to beat. Last night while I was going through the drive thru my car started expelling smoke from under the hood (suspect the coolant hose got loose and expelled coolant everywhere, either causing the smoke or the engine to overheat and then smoke) rendering my car undriveable. Luckily, two staff members and the guy in the red Dodge pickup (shout out to that dude) helped push us to safety, comped our order, and let us hang there for the two hours it took a tow truck to arrive. These guys were quick, helpful, and their kindness was greatly appreciated. We hung around long enough to see them clean up the restaurant and outside area, they did a great job at that too. I did step in dog poo while waiting but in all fairness this was on the nature strip to the left of the Burgerville property so not their fault. Burgerville HQ, I hope you?re paying your employees well, they deserve it."

"I ordered four cheeseburgers, one plain burger, a small fries, and a small Coke, and my bill came to over $33. That felt quite expensive, even for Burgerville, so I asked the staff to verify my order. She confirmed that everything was correct and that was indeed the total. She did offer a pup cup for my dog, which my dog loved, so I gave an extra star for the service. I was asked to pull forward and wait a few minutes for my food, which was fine. However, when a staff member brought out my order, she accidentally handed my food to the car behind me and gave me theirs instead. I noticed that the tag on the bag didn’t match my order, so I called her back just as the driver behind me started eating some fries without checking the tag. I asked if she could replace the fries, but she insisted that they hadn't touched anything and wouldn’t replace them. I wasn’t comfortable eating the fries since they had been handled by someone else. When I got home, I started distributing the burgers while playfully swatting at hands reaching for fries, only to realize they had been tainted by the other car. Additionally, I discovered an extra plant-based burger in my bag, which I had missed since I only saw burgers and fries on the tag. So, I ended up being charged for a burger I didn’t order, despite having asked them to double-check before I paid. I called the restaurant, and they told me I could bring back the wrong burger for a refund. I mentioned that I was in the middle of a move and would return it later. That evening, I kept it in the fridge until I could go back. When I finally returned, a younger employee told me there was nothing he could do since I hadn’t brought it back sooner. He then turned his back to me and started talking to a co-worker as if I weren’t even there. Frustrated, I ended up throwing the plant-based burger away and walked out, bidding farewell to Burgerville. Dining out has become a luxury these days, and I’d rather spend my money at a place that values its customers and strives to get things right. I didn’t order the plant-based burger, and I definitely couldn’t find anyone willing to eat it, as the smell was quite off-putting."
