"Went there for the first time yesterday. The staff is friendly and service quick and excellent. I got the beef gyro, delicious and reasonably priced. The orzo soup amazing! My favorite was the way they make their fries, hot and crispy and enough for a whole meal I went back today and got a delicious corned beef Ruben. Today I noticed they have beautiful pastries including cheese cake and baklava. Can't wait to try their breakfast and dinner items!"

"I had a really good experience in here. I 'm not sure why the reviews are so negative. The place is clean and the prices appear reasonable to me. There 's no place to sit to eat so the name Cafe is deceiving. The man behind the counter was dealing with the customers very nice and the same with me. It was a good place to stop for a bottle of water. I could see myself buying a bagel and walking to the East River Esplanade to sit to eat. I 'll be back....."

"Many Americans love diners, but in New Jersey, the love of diners is ingrained in the state's culture. There are currently more than 450—old and new, big and small establishments. It was partly because NJ had the best road infrastructure in the country, as well as a dense, working-class population. Located in Pompton Plains off of Route 23 North, this fabulous restaurant has everything one wants, from amazing service to great food. My partner, his family and I decided to pay Pompton Queen Diner a visit for dinner after 3 years. Greeted by the staff, and despite how packed the diner was upon arrival, they take your number, then text you when the table is ready, and the wait was never too long—about 10 minutes. Their menu is never-ending, and even the pickiest of eaters will find something on the menu to order. As a starter to share, we ordered the Feta Saganaki. For the main meal, we decided on the Piled High Meatloaf with Mashed Potatoes and Steamed Broccoli, Tenn Smoked Sliced Steak, PQ Kale and Quinoa Wrap with Waffle Fries, and Churrasco Steak Sandwich. The food was tasty, well seasoned, and arrived hot. Portions were large. We had a terrific server, Jack, who was attentive and accommodating. The price was comparable to the area.We had a wonderful dinner experience which we can recommend."

"This spot has been on Ocean Avenue for years, but I only recently decided to check it out. It took me a while to review the menu, as it features everything from breakfast specials to chow fun. I opted for the Grilled Pork Garlic Noodle Plate for $11.95. It was a generous serving with a large heap of garlic noodles alongside marinated pork garnished with sesame seeds. The dish also included a sweet dipping sauce, a side salad, and a fried imperial roll (photo: bit.ly/3Ll0GNf). It was a significant amount of food, which I assume is part of Jo Jo's reputation as a Hong Kong-style café. It was no surprise that there was a steady stream of locals picking up takeout orders. “Get back, get back. "Use to order here frequently out of convenience and got decent food.. typical pizza takeout joint.. nothing spectacular. After our most recent order however we will not be ordering again. Poor customer service. We received our order later then expected..no biggie. But the pizza was pretty cold and the fried pickles had very clearly been sitting under the warmer for far to longbecause we received them completely soggy and the dipping sauce container was melted into the pickles lol reached out to therestaurant to see if we could just get a refund for the pickles or something as they were inedible and there response was ?nothat?s just how we make them now? lol soggy pickles and melted plastic yum! This stuff happens especially when it?s busy butcustomer service 0/10."

"I ordered a short stack of pancakes, which were okay. Unfortunately, my mother's order of Taylor ham on toasted rye was not prepared as requested. She received over-toasted white bread and very well-done Taylor ham, which left her dissatisfied. On the bright side, the waiter was friendly. The parking situation was straightforward - you drive into the lot, park, and enter the diner. Wheelchair accessibility is good, with a ramp and close wheelchair parking available. The menu indicates they will work hard to accommodate dietary restrictions if notified. The overall service was good, with a rating of 4 out of 5. The lunch meal type had prices ranging from $10 to $20 per person. The food received a rating of 3, while the atmosphere was rated a 2. There is plenty of parking available, with free parking in the lot."

"Today, I decided to order a chopped cheese sandwich and unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience. I specifically asked for no lettuce or tomato, but that request was not honored. The sandwich was lacking in both meat and cheese, which was a major letdown considering the name of the sandwich. Additionally, there was no mayo or ketchup included. It seemed like the person preparing the sandwich did not care about the quality of their work. In the end, my girlfriend had to remake the entire sandwich because it looked like a mess. I'm not trying to criticize the restaurant, but it's important to speak up when things are not up to standard so that the person responsible can improve their work ethic and provide customers with a better experience."

"Staff is very rude and racist. I wanted to take a friend to show him a different type of cuisine but after waiting 12mn for our turn, this server (she is short then the others) skipped us to serve someone who came way after us. They were not busy and we were the only customers until the last one stepped in. I flagged for her that we are waiting for our turn but she dismissed us and started serving the guy who came after us. Very disgusting and it was a racist behavior and very sexist. I wonder why your restaurant is try hard to bring in customers but changing the name and mentioning new management. If you don't welcome other races that Hispanics, out a label at the front, you would save us 12mn under this messy weather."

"Most importantly, this is the best pizza by the slice available in Bay Ridge right now.We stopped in on a Saturday for a quick lunch and to-go order and walked away pleasantly satisfied. The Hot Grandma's square with pepperoni and Mike's Hot Honey was delicious and very well-balanced. The Mediterranean slice was fresh and featured an abundance of fresh vegetables and olives. The to-go item was a buffalo chicken slice which looked and tasted amazing.The only disappointment was the small order of garlic knots. It did not taste like it was made with the same dough as the pizza, or the same sauce as on the pizza. Leading to an off taste when being eaten along with the pizza. This issue does not impact my review as I was hoping for good pizza and received excellent pizza.Other than that, good service, employees, and a clean establishment."

"Waitress was on point. Friendly, quick, and was great with the kids. Food was good. They even gave the girls these HUGE cookies because ate their entire meals. It was cute and heck they even through the boys some cookies too because they were eyeing them up. I can’t comment on pricing because my Brother-in-law paid -Thank you Jake. "I've been visiting this restaurant since it first opened, and the food is fantastic, especially considering the prices! My favorites include their pastelitos, patacones, French Toast Platter, avocado toast, mangu, and all of their smoothies are incredible! The healthy shots are also a great pick-me-up for my husband and me when we're feeling a bit under the weather—they help us recover naturally. I particularly love the Chocolate Almond Smoothie! Just a heads up: it takes some time to process orders because everything is made fresh, so I usually order ahead for a quick pickup. If you're not in a hurry, you can walk in, but keep in mind that there isn't much space to stand."
