"I found a place with way better quality food for cheaper prices at the shack it's built together with a citgo convenient store I high point nc and the people were more compassionate and respectful and more understanding towards me as a customer they didn't get upset if u has a concern about my food they are very nice compassionate worker's compared to who I spoke with a the dugout restaurant in Archdale .but the prices are so reasonable and the food is prepared way better the cheeseburgers and onion rings and bacon lettuce and tomatoe sandwiches are delicious I will never stop ordering from the shack store !"

"Terrible, nasty, undercooked food. Greasy philly cheesesteak, fell apart because of how greasy. Literally could get better food out of a trash can. If Gordon ramsay would 've featured the food I ate in his kitchen nightmare series he 'd be on the toiletfor hours. The shrimp was seriously undercooked, clear on the inside, wasn 't de-veined and some even had the shell on it still!Batter wasn 't crispy at all, fries were soggy and undercooked. Paid 70$ for food and we called up to get somebody on the phone.Explained all this and they laughed at us! Very unprofessional will never eat there again and recommend anyone who likes goodfood to steer clear of this place."

"Food is really good (mostly when you're hungover though) but the service is terrible. You have to explain your order multiple times because the people that work there really don't understand what you're trying to say to them. Definitely speak slowly. I also saw a cockroach while I was waiting for my food so I probably won't be back. Very sad that there are restaurants like this that have decent food but everything else is completely terrible."

"As a local, I always strive to support businesses in my area, but I found this restaurant to be quite overpriced for food that was merely average. The presentation of the dishes didn’t elevate the quality at all. Additionally, I noticed an unpleasant mildew smell in the men's restroom, and the array of dishes lining the path to it was not a pleasant sight. I had heard mixed reviews about this place—some positive, some negative—and I wanted to form my own opinion. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend it to anyone seeking an enjoyable dining experience. I truly hope they can implement some changes to improve the overall vibe. While the staff were friendly and knowledgeable about the menu, it’s the food and atmosphere that truly need a makeover. I spent $27 on the meal shown in the photo, and it definitely didn't feel like it was worth it."

"for beginners I went at 2:30 a.m., so there was no lunch break. there was only another person inside so I thought service would be great as there were only two customers. I sat on a table because the sign said, please sit down. my friend and I were waiting politely for about 10 minutes and no server came to our table, so maybe I go forward to order. I was wrong. the waitress was busy talking to another waitress, which I'm fine. we had to finally order and the wait for the food was great, but my order was wrong. I waited for about another 10 minutes until the waitress came back to tell her because I don't like being rude... so I waited. once I told her that she had corrected my order well. then my friend and I sat there for another 30 waiting for the check. So everything to say, there was a bad service. I want to talk to friends, but it comes a point when they have to do their job. I will not visit this place anymore. the greer pushes this situation in the service and taste of the food that is sad because it is so close to my house."

"Was charged $5 to sub potatoes instead of tomatoes on an omelet. Insane. The worker was less than helpful and unwilling to refund us for our food when we decided to not buy our food. Was also charged a “custom fee” for another order when we literally did not customize it and they would not refund that either. TERRIBLE MANAGEMENT AND SERVICE. Tall skinny lady put in headphones and refused to help us. Food is good but the service is why I will not be back."

Last week we were missing a meal for our pregame meal for our Lady Jackets and i made a panicked call to see if they could get me something fast! Of course they went above and beyond and refused payment! This morning they provided sausage biscuits for our men's team and even though they were really busy the staff was awesome and made sure everything was perfect! "I go there to get what i usually get at homestyle restaurants like diners and cafes would serve a plate with daily entrees veggies and desserts for inflation proof prices a full breakfast under 9 dollars is rare. I tip 3 dollars everytime. The gravy sometimes its runny sometimes its grey and gluey depending on when. Service is great they try their hardest when things get busy and it does. Ive never seen it not. Good food great prices and the place for networking local people because the whole senior class goes there like i usually see in places like this with the businesses on the tables and scripture hide and seeks. I just hope the rest of the people tip well like me. I work for a living and serving food is a great service when you get 30 mins to eat i can sit order eat and leave most of the time."
