"Eva was delicious. I loved this as a tapas restaurant in downtown salt lake. We went one weeknight around 9pm and it was the perfect place for a late night dinner. We did make a reservation to save any trouble but we wouldn’t have needed it that lateon a weeknight. That being said, I think having a reservation on the weekend is a must. As for food, we tried 3 different dishesand I loved 2/3 and liked the 3rd but wasn’t blown away. The first dish was the flatbread with an assortment of spreads I.e.truffled white bean, arugula pesto, spicy feta, olive tapenade. the flatbread was cooked amazingly well. The bread was fresh andcrunchy but still soft on the inside and warm all around. I loved it. And the spreads were fresh and complemented each othervery well. The second dish was the fig pig pizza and I loveeeed it. The crust similar to the flatbread was delicious andbaked so perfectly. It was crunchy but still soft on the inside. The toppings on the pizza were prosciutto, arugula pesto, deliciously fresh mozzarella, and fig jam. Now, I am not a person who generally likes fig. But this jam was amazing in that itwas sweet enough to make the fig appetizing, without making it all too sweet and thereby overwhelming the pizza as a whole. Bigfan of this. Also when I say the mozzarella was good, I also mean that it cooked really well and melted in a favorable manner inthat it retained its shape but softened on the inside. The final dish was the spinach gnocchi. Like I said earlier, we likedthis dish, but didn’t love it. I say that because the plating was a little underwhelming and the sauce was very simple and notas creamy or thick as I would have liked. I’m also not a fan of peas in my pasta dishes. That being said, the gnocchi wascooked very well and had a nice flavor and texture. All in all, I am very eager to go back. The service was great and I want totry the mushroom pizza along with the slow roasted tri tip bruschetta."

"My sister-in-law ordered the chicken kebab and was informed it would take at least 25 minutes to prepare. While I understand that some dishes require time, this should ideally be noted on the menu. We ordered baba ganoush with vegetables, chicken kebab, two lamb tagines, and chicken shawarma. The baba ganoush was quite tasty, but it only came with one pita, which wasn’t enough for our group of four. We decided to order an extra serving, only to receive four pitas, which seemed pre-made and lacked flavor, although their texture was decent. The vegetable portion was disappointing for $6, as it primarily consisted of regular radishes with just a couple of slivers of watermelon radishes. However, we thoroughly enjoyed the lamb tagine; it was flavorful and perfectly cooked, and I would definitely order it again. The chicken dishes were also quite good, though a bit heavy on the onions as a side. Unfortunately, the rice was wet, overcooked, and bland—lacking any real flavor. The service could have been better. The staff wasn't very attentive and had little knowledge of the dishes beyond what was written in the menu, leaving many of our questions unanswered. We also found the temperature in the area where we were seated quite uncomfortable, which made us rush through our meal rather than enjoy a leisurely dining experience. The back half of the restaurant, in contrast, was much cooler. In summary, while the food was generally good, I think next time I would opt for takeout rather than dining in."
