It took some time for someone to come and seat me and clean off my table, but the manager was very kind and attentive when I spoke with her.

Food and ambience was amazing, servers were a bit cocky and it felt like they had to beg them to order items. Also they charged same amount for virgin drinks than with alcohol

Went here with my daughter for lunch. We were blown away by how amazingly sweet the staff was and how fast the food and drinks came out. We sat outside to get a nice view of the pool and even though people were using it, it was surprisingly quiet and calm. We will definitely be back! The ambiance is out of this world! View menu

Great sunny breakfast/brunch spot with views of David Hockney painted pool. Just shy of fabulousness. Our server, Zack was attentive and expedient with refreshing drinks. The Avocado toast was enough to qualify as a meal. The almond flour pancakes soft and fluffy. We Will definitely enjoy this space place again in the future

Even though it’s in the same vicinity, it feels distinct thanks to the surrounding greenery, creating a cozy atmosphere while still being close to the lively poolside scene. This cafe is located at the Hotel Roosevelt in Hollywood and offers a poolside dining experience. The menu is quite simple. The drinks were enjoyable, and there’s a DJ by the pool, creating a fun atmosphere. It might be a bit loud for some, but I personally liked it. Unfortunately, the tuna tartare was not great; they didn’t serve any soy sauce, which would have improved the flavor. I requested some, and they were able to find it for me, which helped a bit. As soon as we were seated, we were informed that we had to place our orders within 30 minutes and finish within an hour due to an upcoming event. However, we were not informed of this time limit when we made our reservation for lunch. While we were eating, the staff actually removed the sunshades around us, which made the whole experience feel rushed and disappointing. It seems only fair to let guests know about time restrictions so they can enjoy their meal without feeling pressured. Additionally, when we asked our waitress if there was another bar on the premises we could visit, she said she didn't know and wasn’t sure. Overall, it was not a great experience.

While the outdoor setting at the historic hotel was quite pleasant and the food was decent, we were left disappointed by the service and high prices. Our waiter seemed completely detached and uninterested. It was nearly impossible to get his attention, or anyone else's, to refill our coffee cups or bring us an extra napkin, and getting the check took an unreasonably long time. To make matters worse, we discovered they had added an 18% "service charge" to our already overpriced meal, which made the experience feel more like a theft than genuine service. A simple breakfast for my wife, daughter, and me ended up costing over $100. Disheartening. It felt like we were only paying for the atmosphe...

Unfortunately, several of the shrimp in my shrimp cocktail were not deveined ... that 's just unacceptable.. There was a hair in my friend 's prosciutto baguette sandwich and my other friend could not have had a more off putting response when her salmon tartare arrived without the crackers it is supposed to come with and the response was, it doesn 't come with that anymore (his attitude was don 't bother me)...when my friend pushed on saying that the crackers were in the menu description and she has always had it that way he was clearly annoyed.
