"No big deal, but when I got to my room, I discovered a public hair on the toilet and a long hair on the bed. I tried to convince myself it was just the previous guest's, but it definitely didn’t feel clean. The stay itself was fine otherwise; housekeeping provided new soaps each day.
However, on the day of checkout, I encountered more problems. They had misplaced the form I filled out when I arrived and couldn’t find my card information, even though it had been swiped twice during check-in. I informed Erris about the tax-exempt form I had and you would have thought I had asked for a full refund. He said it wouldn't happen and seemed rather dismissive. When I requested to speak to a manager, I explained that the person who checked me in had told me to mention it during checkout. Reluctantly, he accepted the tax exemption form, which took a mere 20 to 30 seconds to straighten out. It was frustrating that it took longer to navigate the issue than to actually resolve it.
Overall, the front desk service was terrible—definitely the worst I've experienced during both check-in and check-out. In summary, I will never stay at West Bay Beach again or visit a Delamar Resort. I strongly recommend looking elsewhere."
