"Sadly this location seems to be going down hill. Not sure if they lost everyone to other jobs? But we will not be returning. 20 minutes to get to window to pay. The young man uses his filthy glove to clean our cups. I mention soda is streaming down. Notone time in 20 minutes of handling cash, food, credit cards, the register did he change them or wash his hands. I explained theorder was wrong and was yelled at. Told I was wrong, and he was right. I happen to be on a zoom meeting for all to hear thisyoung man. Lastly, when I asked for the manager he continued to be rude. This has been a very constant problem here. Also,please tell me why the order taker for your second line only comes out 15 minutes apart instead of going down the line. Also,you might ensure you tell them stop zig zapping between cars. Besides seeming like a bag full of germs and some drinks that gotthrown out. Whataburger as a whole what is going on?"

"Slowest spot ever ! They literally looked like they were working in slow motion. It's clean tho ,even behind the registers. They just slow ! Like literally super clean. There was a guy that walked the interior of the restaurant sanitizingeverything,the entire time I was there . Every single time someone got up ,he was sanitizing! I watched him do that the entiretime I waited, nearly 40 minutes. He didn't miss a beat . The bathroom was super clean as well ! But you finna wait on thatfood !???????????? "This Whataburger the wait to receive food is terrible. I sat in the drive thru for a good 30 minutes before even seeing the window. The food wasn’t even remotely warm and the girl at the window forgot one drink. I didn’t drive away but she did know that I ordered 2 meals. Not sure if she was new and training but it was awful. "After seeing the reaction to the Whataburger float in the Battle of Flowers parade in San Antonio, I had to check this place out for myself. Tried the Dr. Pepper shake (amazing), the onion rings (right on the money) and an apple pie (flaky and sweet). The store was crazy busy because of Fiesta, but the staff behind the counter was friendly and welcoming. My order got a little lost in the mayhem, but they recovered and I had more time for people watching and checking out all the festive decorations. Best find? The spicy ketchup!!"

"I'm giving a 3-star review primarily because the person who handed me my order was incredibly kind. However, there were significant issues with the food and the accuracy of my order. The kids' burger was served cold, and the cheese wasn't melted at all. The chicken strips were overcooked—too crunchy to eat—and quite small, which only made the overcooking more disappointing. I requested gravy but received honey BBQ sauce instead. While I recognize that this is a matter of personal taste, I found it unappealing. Thankfully, my 2.5-year-old isn't particular about the temperature of her burger or the melted state of her cheese, so she was okay. I chose to go out for food to avoid cooking and making a mess in my kitchen, but in the end, my meal was inedible, and I ended up spending $13 only to come home and cook anyway. It was quite frustrating."

"Whatabreakfast! Breakfast is our favorite meal at Whataburger!! My baby girl and I order the honey chicken sandwich, add fried egg and bacon, cit in half, with a side of sausage gravy to dip and it is amazing!! It's breakfast crack. You will not order anything else after you try this. Picture. No. We eat it way too fast to take photos haha and it's messy so by the time you would even think to take a photo, you have gravy and honey sauce all over your hands and the last thing you want to do is touch your phone. It's finger-licking-good. You're welcome!"

"I have been coming to this wahterburger for 10 years and it has recently turned into a place of rude , entitled workers that that thing they can laugh at people because they are on the other side of the microphone. I recently had surgery and and my vocal cord was damaged, so I turn off my vehicle so they can here me and what do I here a brat on the other laughing at the way I 'm talking . Then Jesse the manager immediately says she was not laughing at you . I 'm so pissed off that they will be lucky if they ever get my business or families business again. "If you ask anyone from Texas what the best fast food burger is, they'll likely say Whataburger. Tonight, I decided to give it a try and went through the drive-thru. I ordered one Whataburger with a side of onion rings, along with two bunless burgers to compare the flavors. I have to admit, these burgers are quite tasty—no doubt about it. The staff was friendly and polite. Unfortunately, they don't serve breakfast, and the onion rings were a bit overcooked. However, I can confidently say that this is a solid burger for a fast food chain. Is it the best? I'm not so sure, but it's definitely better than average."

"I arrived at the restaurant at 11:09 p.m. on September 9, 2022, to place a takeout order, but was informed that they were not serving customers inside due to low staffing. I was directed to use the drive-thru instead. As I walked back to my car, I noticed two other cars pull in, and I saw the same staff member who had just turned me away taking their orders. This made me quite upset, so I stayed nearby to confirm that they weren’t simply picking up an order; they were indeed being treated like regular customers. It was disheartening to witness that staff member, or whoever was in charge that night, not following proper protocol."

We went with 15 students from a field course for Subsurface Consultants Associates, LLC Geoscience Certification Program Boot Camp on a busy afternoon. "I love Whataburger. I don 't live near any, so when I travel to places near one, I always stop. This one has really put me off for a bit. Arrived at 6pm on a Sunday. Drive thru was busy, but moving, and dine in was empty, so I parked and went in. Order was taken by 6:11. Order wasn 't delivered until 6:47, and that was with the cashier bugging the cooks 3 times about the order. To the cashiers credit, she seemed to be the only worker in the place, trying to clean the restrooms and work the counter while others stood around. An attempt to talk to a manager was worthless. He couldn 't understand why someone would be upset waiting 30 min for a chicken sandwich...To make the experience all the more worse, an email to corporate just resulted in a canned sorry response, and a clear indication that they didn 't bother to read the comments in the original message.Parking: Only a few spots, most blocked by the drive thru line."

"I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant, and the cashier, Serena C., was especially friendly. My visit did not disappoint. I ordered the patty melt and onion rings, enjoyed half of each, and took the leftovers home. My favorite item at What-A-Burger is the taquitos, which are closely followed by what I had today. However, I do have one complaint about the What-A-Burger chain: their prices for extra cheese on the taquitos. They only include half a slice of cheese by default and then charge seventy-five cents for an additional half slice! Given the high profit margins they likely make on their soft drinks, don’t you think they could be a bit more generous with that extra half slice of cheese? Or is it just me who feels this way?"

"I had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant. The service was extremely rude. The woman at the drive-thru yelled at me several times—first for pulling too far forward after waiting for five minutes at the payment window without being acknowledged, and then again for not pulling far enough ahead to a line that I couldn't see from inside the car. To top it off, she practically threw my food into the car and left out one of the burgers we had paid for. All of this came after waiting 30 minutes in the drive-thru."

"Pulled up to drive-thru speaker on my motorcycle to grab breakfast on the way to work. Got off my bike and squatted down at the speaker to hear better with my helmet on. No greeting. I say, “Hello?” “Helloooo? “HELLO?” and get nothing back. Turn my running bike off and try again. Again, no response. Ride around the corner to window, manager and employee in grill area looked at me and both walked out of sight. Sat at the window for another couple of minutes as they walked from the grill to lobby to the back, like four different times doing other things, all while looking at me sitting on my bike at the window. At this point, I had been made late to work from this, so I rode back around and walked inside. Employee took my order after standing at the counter for a minute or two, and said the drive-thru alarm hadn’t gone off. He saw me straight through the window, we made eye contact, and both he and the manager walked away. Infuriating."

"2022 Sep This place is pretty OK.The interior is pretty clean. Floors clean (mopped and mostly picked up (stray napkin blown off a table retrieved .The staff is normally friendly. There appear to be a few (mentally disabled/handicapped? people hired specifically to bring dine in orders to the table which I REALLY appreciate. Nice to see employers offer opportunity for meaningful work within their capabilities.Counter service is ALWAYS slow. Their is usually plenty of staff. Often chatting in a cluster near the drive through service area between rushes. But the one person apparently designated to take counter orders is often doing something else and no one covers that role. Ever.Atypical for fast food, the staff does not look stressed or ground down. Lots of smiles. Pretty relaxed. Plenty of bodies to help with everything, so good on management.The food here is consistent with rhe brand —you like Whataburger food or you don’t. I’ve been here for all meal times. Even LATE at night my order was accurate and Whataburger-good.All in all, perfectly cromulent."

"I came here two days ago by myself around 12:45pm and the restaurant was very busy. Probably around 20-25 people in the store and the drive thru was full. I got inside and was behind 3 people when they opened another register for cards only. Since the people ahead of me were paying cash I was able to skip the line. I ordered a number 1 with mustard,mayo and ketchup. I ordered it with no pickles and no drink but instead a large fry. The girl taking my order was not paying attention to my order and seemed to be a little flustered. I swiped my card and then realized she rang me up for a large onion ring. A lot of whataburger’s food is good but one item I think they need improvement on is their onion rings. So I told the cashier that I wanted a large fry not onion rings. She didn’t know how to refund the item so she got a manager. I suppose the most annoying thing about my visit was that the manager said to the cashier (not even to me) that there is only a 50cent difference and we will get him (me) a large fry. This irritated me because I work in fast-food for basically minimum wage and I have bills to pay and save every nickle and dime I can. I decided to go with the onion rings. Food came out quickly considering the amount of people in-house and in the drive-thru. My hamburger had pickles in it and no onions. I took out the pickles and decided not to do anything about it. I would say customer-service wise it was a below-average experience. I want to mention that the restaurant was very clean despite how busy they were. I’ll probably come back here again but when they are not busy. And next time I will review my entire order before being cashed out."
