"You know, I’m not sure who in the actual heck is running this establishment, but they have some problems. First off, we have a larger group of people… we are coming from all over the US, all excited to experience this tiki bar. We were told we could make individual table reservations…. And not get up and meander around “as long as we stay in our seats” we will be fine. So we made our reservations, only to be harassed multiple times by the manager/owner/creep who has the audacity to look us up on Facebook and call and harass us, and hold our reservation hostage over our heads if we didn’t pay his whopping $5,000 ridiculous asking price of a reservation hold. FYI 5k for 25-27 people averages out to $185 per person to make a reservation at an average of 9drink minimums per person based on your price schedule. That is highway robbery, and it is also irresponsible to expect people to have 9 drinks each (because we were not going to eat food) in order to get what they paid for. We have been to tiki bars all over the US, Honolulu, Vegas, California, Kansas City, Dallas, Florida, Arizona and other states and NEVER have I ever seen an establishment run so poorly and rudely. We were told we were banned, we were told IDs would be checked, and our business was turned away. Although we disagree with your 9drink minimum charge per person, we are all good for 2-3 drinks each with some of us that could have had 5-6. Rather than work with us on a time allotment, or even hold to your original word on staying in our seats… you banned us and turned us away. To his employees imagine the tip money he turned away, hope your establishment is full tonight because at any point when you have open seats that was money you all could have had. Well, anyways thanks for the background check that was given to us, thanks for showing your true colors as a business, and thanks for canceling our plans. There is words to describe people like the guy running this place, but frankly, I’ll take the high road and hope this review warns people of who they’re giving their business to."
