Beachbum Berry's Latitude 29

This tiki bar is outstanding! It's always so hard to choose between the creative cocktails they have on offer. But any choice is a good one. Plus the cute little accents just make my day. Definitely stop in for a drink, though you may need a reservation if it's high tourist season.

First of all, hard to get a table or place at the bar, highly suggest reservations. But definitely worth going here, nice bartenders, very accommodating, the drinks take the crown if you like rum and tiki drinks. The food (at least what we had) was fantastic and would definitely come back here while in New Orleans.

Absolutely amazing drinks, knowledgeable staff, and vibe. I can’t say enough good things! I wanted something refreshing and light and the bartender was able to give me suggestions right off the bat. I had a truly exceptional experience at this restaurant. Whether you're a rum enthusiast or simply someone who appreciates high-quality food and beverages, this place should be on your New Orleans itinerary. The food was delightful, and the drinks were outstanding! Our server, Hannah, was fantastic and added to the enjoyment of the evening.

I had the chicken and waffles, which is a stunning combination. My only complaint is that there was a bit too much bread compared to the chicken. The bar prepared a Saturn cocktail for me from the menu, and it was fantastic. The Halloween special was a bit of a challenge to tackle, but it was tasty in its own way. I also sampled my wife's dish, which featured a hearty mix of savory pork belly and noodles.

Chill atmosphere with pacific tiki vibes. The drink menu is tiki tropical with Many delicious options. All of the drinks we had were balanced and delicious. The Navy Grog, Latitude 29, and Pina Colada were great. I'd love to return and try more drinks! Also! Absolutely order the Pu put platter. The food is not to be missed. We caught Latitude 29 in a rare quiet night. It was Sunday after a disappointing loss for the local sports ball team, and everyone had quite left the neighborhood for the weekend. We had the place for us and had a fantastic experience. I was in many Tiki bars and know one or two things about Tiki-Bartending. This place serves the best Tiki drinks I ever had. My expectations were high as this is Beachbum Berry's joint, and I wasn't disappointed. Service was fantastic and fast, and also in the following night when we came back and it was more crowded. I didn't eat, but my friends did it, and they all gave a thumb-up. I'll go back to New Orleans for the next time.

Let me just start off by saying, WOW. Coming to Latitude has been on my bucket list for years since getting into tiki. Jeff “Beachbum” Berry is the reason tiki exists to the extent it does in modern day. So coming to HIS bar was a bit like finally making it to the tiki promiseland! Top to bottom I’d say my experience was exceptional. It either met or exceeded my expectations! Latitude 29 is the best bar in town for delicious and innovative cocktails. As New Orleans locals, my wife and I have visited Latitude 29 numerous times. The drinks are truly exceptional! We have a passion for Tiki cocktails and make it a priority to explore Tiki bars in other cities, but very few compare to the quality of Latitude 29. While most of the cocktails are rum-based, you'll also find gin and other spirits on the menu. You really can't go wrong with any choice, as each recipe is crafted with great care.
