"I enjoyed the bass with chorizo for dinner, and started with crudo, both of which were excellent. For lunch, I highly recommend the hearty Niçoise Salad and you can’t go wrong with the California burger. The croissant French toast at breakfast is a delight, giving you the experience of having both breakfast and dessert at once. Don't skip the chilaquiles, either; they're fantastic. If you’re not dining, make sure to stop in for what is arguably the best margarita in Napa Valley—you won’t regret it. When the weather is nice, I suggest requesting a table on the patio; however, sitting indoors feels cozy and inviting with its hygge atmosphere. The restaurant is set inside a charming hundred-year-old farmhouse, and you can also stroll through the hotel courtyard for some great photo opportunities. The service is the real standout here. It’s rated four stars by Forbes for good reason; the staff goes above and beyond to accommodate guests. Make your way to Acacia House as soon as you can—you’ll thank me later!"

"Came in for a skim latte; as I stand waiting for it and looking at the barista, I see he is pouring milk from a carton that says half half! Incredulous, I ask what he is doing. We don't have skim milk, he says. Just like that, he decides half half will be just as good. I decide on oat milk instead and get a hardly even lukewarm version. Much protest when I request a hot latte. No internet connection provided, either, with strange excuses and basically the dude says all this is because he's alone minding the store. Yes, and I'm alone being the patron! Avoid! Never again."

"My favorite option is the vegan shakes, particularly because they include avocado, which is my all-time favorite smoothie ingredient. It's fantastic for those of us who are lactose intolerant but still crave a creamy, satisfying smoothie. Plus, I love that they use agave straws, which are better for the environment and enhance the overall drinking experience compared to paper or plastic straws. The Blue Magic ($12) tastes like a healthy version of Fruit Loops! The natural color from the blue spirulina is striking, and the touch of citrus adds a refreshing twist. True to its name, Blue Magic contains blue spirulina, hemp seeds, avocado, protein, dates, lemon, and oat-coconut milk. Next time, I plan to try the Green Gains to compare the different types of spirulina. The staff is fantastic; Owen and Larissa are particularly friendly and skilled at their work, even when faced with difficult customers. They also have an app for preordering, and there's free parking available in the lot behind the store. The venue features ample indoor and outdoor seating, making it a great place to enjoy your smoothie."

"I ordered the power smoothie and Joes club with mozzarella. Never actually got the mozzarella and paid for it. The sandwich itself was nothing special and burnt. The smoothie was equally as disappointing. For the price I was expecting higher quality food and instead got burnt toast with some measles filling and a smoothie that wasnt worth $10 for a few strawberries and some milk. I couldve made better at home and I should have. What a waste."

"This restaurant really struggles with following instructions. I ordered a pink latte in the largest size, and they sent me a small yellow one instead. They've made so many mistakes that DoorDash doesn't fully refund me or even give me the correct price difference between the sizes. I constantly have to request refunds from this place because they often leave out ingredients that I pay for in my sandwiches or mix up sizes and other details. It's frustrating that they can't just read the order properly and follow the instructions. How hard can that be? It feels like they don't care at all given their consistent errors. Overall, this place has terrible service, and I've wasted a lot of money here."

"I walked into your J&theJ store yesterday and was appalled to find your young juicer wearing a ‘F Your Local Police Department’ emblazoned on the back of his red hoodie which customers in line commented on. Does your company want someone like this representing them? This young man should take a ride with SF Police Dept one night.UPDATE: As you can see below then I got the 'we are sorry you didn 't have a good guest experience ' response and 'this will be investigated. "This Joe The Juice is located in Wynwood, nestled in the busy streets. I believe it is a good place to go when you're taking people around the touristy parts of Wynwood. I had a simple ice matcha latte and a small carrot cake. The service was fairly quick and the tables were clean. There is a lot of space to sit at. I guess my only off comment is that they had the trash bins visible in the outside window but I'm guessing it was trash day that day and the staff were able to take them away from the people's view. The prices are a little bit pricey in my opinion for the size of the carrot cake. Other than that, the cafe is pretty nice just make sure to not go on a busy time."

"I’m usually the customer that stays quiet. But this place has habitually prepped my avocado sandwich incorrectly. When I pay for extra avocado , they serve you the same or less of the normal serving. They overcook your toast and today the presentation was just way below average wrapper all undone) .When you pay for extra protein on your power shake , they’ll deliver a shake that taste purely like milk .FAR FROM SAVORY!You’re better off making the sandwich /shake at home, folks.Wish I had taken a photo to show. "Friday 08/11/2023 at 1:18pm, I visited the location in Palo Alto, 508 University Avenue Palo Alto CA 94301. My experience with the employees were not met to my expectation. I had ordered a Tunacado and a Matcha Latte. First, the Matcha Latte had no flavor or taste. It was straight up tap water that was green. Second, I FOUND SHORT BROWN HAIR IN MY SANDWICH. I did not think it was a big deal but I wanted to notify the workers to be careful because that was not sanitary. The guy who made my food looked at me and my friend and said, what do you want me to do about it? That set me off the wrong way, because I never expected anyone to give so much attitude in a situation like this. I simply would 've been fine with an apology. I did not expect him to make me a new one or anything. I just wanted him to know what had happen because that was disgusting. On top of that, his coworker, who had curly blonde and black roots hair, was staring at us and he rolled his eyes. I WOULD LIKE TO APOLOGIZE FOR BOTHERING YOU GUYS. I did not know that it was BOTHERSOME TO LET YOU GUYS KNOW WHAT HAD HAPPEN WITH MY FOOD?... Anyways, REALLY SPEECHLESS ABOUT THIS EXPERIENCE. WORSE CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER. I REALLY WANT MY MONEY BACK AFTER THAT. Food didn 't meet average expectations and ALSO CUSTOMER SERVICE REALLY LACKED. There was also another girl on the shift, She was patient and a sweet heart. However, THE OTHER TWO GUYS.. UNBELIEVABLE. I seriously wanted to try the tunacado because people on TikTok were talking about it and how it was good. So just wanted to come with my friends to see what the hype was about. Those workers ruined the experience for me and never would I have expected someone to state that statement, What do you want me to do about it? What an actual bummer. I even saw some yelp reviews about this place, but I seriously wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt because I understand how working with customers can be difficult. However, those two workers honestly need customer service training, if anything. To save everyones time, money, and effort, literally just take your money else where because it wont be worth if you are paying money for a shitty time."

"I had a disappointing experience at Joe and the Juice due to the way the staff treated me because of my race. The service was rude and pretentious. I waited over 30 minutes for my drinks, which they seemed to have forgotten to prepare. When I asked a simple clarifying question about my order—since I had never tried a power shake before and was wondering if the wait was normal—I was met with a dismissive response: “Listen, sir, there are many guests ahead of you.” In reality, I was the only customer in the store at that moment. I clarified that I wasn’t trying to argue, just seeking to understand the situation better. Unfortunately, their response included a stereotype about my race, implying that we believe we are entitled. This behavior is far from what I expect from a place like Joe and the Juice. I hope they take these concerns seriously and address how they handle such situations in the future."

"Finding a Joe and The Juice location in the city is easy. I visited after a run at the Embarcadero and was impressed by the variety of juices and shakes on offer. Their menu offers a diverse selection of options, with shakes like 're-build' and 'energy booster'. I tried the delicious banana and strawberry shake, although it was a bit pricey at $8 per glass. I also sampled the avocado sandwich, which had crunchy bread and fresh ingredients. While not very filling on its own, it makes for a good snack. The ambiance at the Howard Street outlet in the Financial District is lovely, with well-done interiors, good lighting, and ample seating for those looking to relax or hang out with friends."

"I visited the location on 40 Broad street. I waited several minutes before they even acknowledged my presence. At first, I believe they were preoccupied. However, once I seen how other customers of certain demographics were immediately greeted… I now firmly believe as a women of color they only cater to certain demographics. Perhaps the staff needs a reminder the importance of cultural competency. Poor customer service!! Additionally, I watch the female staff use the same gloves at the cash register to take orders, and make food for customers. We are still in an ongoing pandemic.. it’s vital to perform proper hand hygiene and use standard sanitary practice."

"I have been a fan of Joe The Juice long before it arrived in the U.S., having visited locations in Aarhus and Copenhagen. So, I was pleasantly surprised to find one at Grand Central, and later in Palo Alto and my new hometown of Redwood City. Initially, I was skeptical about whether it could maintain the same level of quality and service that I loved in Denmark. However, in the post-COVID world, I've become a regular at the Redwood City location. While I might miss the avocado sandwich a bit (it's the brown bread, you know!), I actually think the fruit and green shakes here are even better than in Denmark. Great job, Redwood City!"
