"I had heard a lot of positive reviews about NOFO @ the Pig, so we decided to try it for brunch on a regular Sunday. Our group of four waited about 40 minutes for a table and then another 15 minutes at the table before anyone came to greet us. When the waitress finally arrived, she was friendly but seemed overwhelmed and rushed. The food arrived fairly quickly—in fact, it came out before the drink I ordered, their famous Bloody Mary, which is quite bitter if that’s your taste. My kids found their breakfast pretty bland and nothing special. My wife’s shrimp and grits looked like they had a layer of oil on top. Overall, the food didn’t justify the wait. I don’t want to be too critical, but I’ve had far better breakfasts elsewhere. I don’t understand why this place is considered the best breakfast spot in Raleigh—it's not."
