"I 'm pretty adamant when it comes to customer service. The host was nice and friendly. She sat us down and then a server came out. She did not greet nor smile. We let her know we were new to the place and she at least gave us some time to look over the menu. I just feel the first impression is absolutely the best way thing to do when being a server is to smile and say hello. A very simple gesture goes a long way, just as an unwelcoming gesture can really have an effect on our experience as diners. I believe her name is Ashlie, which was on the receipt. I still gave her positive responses to her service since I am no Karen. I figured maybe she just needed some happy customers. She did well checking up on us and taking plates off the table. I never leave a bad tip so I still tip her good. I think a little personality adjustment would make it better for her as a server in this industry. Food experience: amazing! There were so great options for kids and they all look delicious. Not your typical, bread and hot dogs. We got our baby fried catfish meal and it came out perfect. Good seasoning and she liked it. Next, we ordered mozzarella logs. Those were great! It has a bite of overcooked on high heat oil but was still great. The marinara sauce was on par. The drinks were good! Stout and as it should for the high prices on them. I ordered Ribye Poboy. Delicious and I didn 't find anything wrong with it. Crawfish etouffee was okay, I wouldn 't order it again. I 'm picky when it comes to cajun food but as a sports bar, it 's still alright. It just has more of a tomato sauce taste. I 'm not sure how they make their roux but I would 've loved it with more garlic, grilled bell peppers, and onion tastes to it. The tomato flavor is overpowering. I don 't know if that 's what they use it on there as one of their ingredients but it tastes like that. Fried chips and queso are good. Will I come back again? Likely. The menu has great options and still has many items that I want to try out. I know it 's not the typical cajun restaurant I expected but they 're still good. It 's good to have a different palette for what another establishment offers."

"After finally being seated, we ordered drinks and appetizers. The drinks took about 10 minutes to arrive, and the appetizers followed soon after, so at first, everything seemed fine. However, once we finished our first round and neatly stacked our empty appetizer plates, the waitress came back. We placed another drink order, but while she refilled our two teas, she never returned with the rest of our drinks. When we asked her about it later, she informed us that the bar was closed, despite our earlier order. We watched as other customers were served at the bar while we were left waiting. When we approached the bartender to get our drinks, she told us we had to wait for our server. Frustrated, we decided to leave and told them to keep the food. The manager came over, and we explained the situation calmly. Instead of addressing our concerns, he attempted to charge us for the entire meal. We firmly told him that this wouldn't happen, and that he could keep the food. He tried to justify the poor service by complaining about being busy. It was clear that he had no intention of making things right; he just wanted us out of the restaurant so he could close up. I would rate this place even lower if I could. We were prepared to spend a good amount of money and leave a generous tip, but now I will make it a point to warn everyone I know to avoid this restaurant entirely. It was a disappointing experience, and I would never recommend it or return myself."

"we had a reservation for 11 people and when the first person arrived, they had no record of it. they told us they didn't work with open table anymore because they had problems with them. even if I have returned emails and reminders to my reservation. they then informed us that no one contacted from cask open table. we had a good time for them to take us. I say that, because if it were a busy Friday or Saturday night, we might have been turned off. when our party arrived, we put our drink order and then start eating. a short time later we order our most important entrees. a woman ordered an salate and said they were from eisburg salate with which she was good. the apps were good. the waitress came back to inform us that they fries out and sweet potatoes! we were a little confused about how this happened. we could replace any other side they had provided. then, when another person in our group got her salat, they had not the dressing she demanded. the burgers, who were ordered medium, came out well. waiting for our food was very long considering that there were maybe 5 or 6 tables in total. our waitress disappeared from a bed when I think she was the only one who works. we had to hunt them to check a family because they had to come home. when we checked all our audits, those who were ordered to be charged for the other side we had to order. Nobody said anything about it because it wasn't worth the fight. not a manager was in himself or came by to ask how our food was or apologise for being out of many things. we only saw our waitress, hostess and bartender. it was very disappointing."
