"Since I am unable to reply to your response. How would you make it up to me? Despite the disingenuous response, you can make it up to me by having a clean restaurant, with menus that have been sanitized. Have staff check the bathrooms periodically during the day and evening. Check out the food at Elsa’s or Black Sheep and learn what a good pub grub can taste like. A restaurant’s bathroom can often provide answers about whether or not you should eat there. Once I saw the men’s room at Milwaukee Burger Company, I should have fled like the place was on fire. A friend had a long wait at the airport, and he chose this place for a respite. I was trying to be a good person for once, and I acquiesced. The Milwaukee Burger Company is a local chain, whose interior design would be labeled generic sports bar. However, it purportedly specializes in burgers. That doesn’t mean they’re good, they just offer lots of hamburger choices on the sticky menu. That’s right, my menu was sticky, foretelling the bathroom situation. The one star is for the service, rough, but well meaning. She asked about our welfare many times. Whatever we tasted was greasy, tasteless, and was not good. The menu was well represented by what we ate, and every item tasted the same. It all needed ketchup, mustard, and the variety of sauces on offer to provide taste. Perhaps that’s why the Milwaukee Burger Company offers all their sauces. You can just scoop up the sauces into your mouth and eschew any food. I hope I never find myself in this place again. I’m still depressed by my experience."

"I ordered the Mahi-Mahi Poblano, which is a great deal at $12, assuming it’s actually Mahi-Mahi and not just a name on the menu. It was delicious and came with a creamy Poblano sauce that I really enjoyed. The rice and black beans that accompanied the dish were also tasty. I added a generous amount of salt to the Poblano sauce, while my bowl of sauce on the side was steaming hot, and I loved that! Although they did charge me for the extra sauce on the side, I can't really complain because it's fair. The complimentary chips and salsa were enjoyable, with the chips tasting fresh and the red salsa being well-seasoned. The Pollo Poblano was also good, prepared with the same sauce I liked, and my special request to have it without onions was fulfilled perfectly, which I appreciated. The warm flour tortillas that came with our meal were delicious as well. On our first visit, I remember speaking highly of each dish to the manager, so I have only positive things to say about both visits. I definitely recommend this place, especially since I can be picky about my meals. My wife, who is usually very critical, enjoyed it too, so that speaks volumes. However, I do have one complaint. I noticed in another review that someone received complimentary sopapillas from the manager. We were given them during our first visit too, but now I realize I'm not as special as I thought! Unfortunately, the sopapillas we received this time were stale and unacceptable. If you encounter bad sopapillas, don’t hesitate to send them back."
