"I ordered the Mahi-Mahi Poblano, which is a great deal at $12, assuming it’s actually Mahi-Mahi and not just a name on the menu. It was delicious and came with a creamy Poblano sauce that I really enjoyed. The rice and black beans that accompanied the dish were also tasty. I added a generous amount of salt to the Poblano sauce, while my bowl of sauce on the side was steaming hot, and I loved that! Although they did charge me for the extra sauce on the side, I can't really complain because it's fair. The complimentary chips and salsa were enjoyable, with the chips tasting fresh and the red salsa being well-seasoned. The Pollo Poblano was also good, prepared with the same sauce I liked, and my special request to have it without onions was fulfilled perfectly, which I appreciated. The warm flour tortillas that came with our meal were delicious as well. On our first visit, I remember speaking highly of each dish to the manager, so I have only positive things to say about both visits. I definitely recommend this place, especially since I can be picky about my meals. My wife, who is usually very critical, enjoyed it too, so that speaks volumes. However, I do have one complaint. I noticed in another review that someone received complimentary sopapillas from the manager. We were given them during our first visit too, but now I realize I'm not as special as I thought! Unfortunately, the sopapillas we received this time were stale and unacceptable. If you encounter bad sopapillas, don’t hesitate to send them back."

This place felt more like a mediocre Mexican restaurant you'd find at a junior high school event. I'm giving it two stars solely for the blackberry mojito, which was absolutely delicious.

Good margs, okay priced food. Hayle was great! I come here every few months and it is always a solid experience. The margs are a good price and taste good. The food is standard Tex mex, never need to complain The service is always great!

Fajita Willie's is one of our favorite local places for Mexican. We love the salsa they serve it warm and it's so tasty! They also have excellent tortillas. They have recently renovated and the place looks great. Best thing though the margaritas! I have always loved theirs.

If you're looking for genuine Mexican cuisine and drinks for adults, Fajita Willies is the perfect spot. The atmosphere is wonderful, and the food and drinks are excellent. Our waitress, Rachael, was outstanding! She was attentive, detail-oriented, and ensured that everyone had everything they needed. I can't wait to return! View menu

During my visit to Houston, I discovered that this restaurant serves the best fajitas I've ever had, thanks in large part to our fantastic waitress, Lily. She was incredibly attentive and made our experience truly enjoyable! If you’re a fan of Tex-Mex cuisine, I highly recommend this place. Be sure to ask for Lily—you'll thank me later!

I had a fantastic experience! The host was very friendly and greeted us almost right away. Our server, Rachel, was attentive and made the meal enjoyable with her humor and cool personality. Overall, it was a lovely experience. She was quick to provide everything we needed and suggested some excellent alternative menu options. The management, led by Sergio, is doing an outstanding job! I would definitely recommend this place, giving it a perfect 10 out of 10! View menu

Was not here in the awhile woman wanted some margaritas. They have now changed their full service and a bar area looks like they have some good bottles to choose from. We have the Jalisco plate and the woman have Fajitas. The food was great that our server was worried about us. While she runs the bar she has on top and never lets our drinks run out, which is always a big thing for me. Even the mangers stopped and talked to us and they got us sopaillas on the house. We may have to do this weekly

We have been going to Fajita Willie's for literally 30 years, since we moved to Houston from CT and we have not found a Mexican restaurant in Houston that we like better. We love the atmosphere of this place but what makes it so special are the very thin tortilla chips and the fresh made, thin flour tortillas for our fajitas. They just don't come any better than these. We always ask for Micah when we get there because she is an amazing server. She remembers our order without writing it down and is so efficient getting our drinks and food to us, besides being as pleasant as she can be. Highly recommend Fajita Willie's!

"Food good. Location good. Service good. BUT, the hidden charges REALLY ruined an otherwise nice experience. Example: HH menu lists Martinis as a $3 upcharge to the $7 base charge. Fair enough. Bombay is a listed alcohol; requested. When the bill was returned I was charged for a Bombay Sapphire which is not on the HH list. Charge? $11 $3. I asked for Bombay, not Bombay Sapphire. Waiter: Oh, let me look into that. AND, by the way Blue Cheese olives? Extra $1. REALLY? I 've NEVER paid extra for BC olives ANYWHERE. AND the confusing menus that a dish as including an extra sauce, [and I don 't recall the exact language but it made it seem that an additional items could be selected as well. Oops, there goes an extra $10.95. AND, the waiter recommending a twice-baked potato. Bah, boom, another $5.95. [which in fairness is disclosed on the menu in a different location, but waiter made it sound as if it was a no-charge option on the surf and turf. AND the split plate charge which I don 't think was disclosed on the menu. Ding, ding, extra $3.00. Was this a waiter, who was overly up-selling or restaurant deception? Don 't know. As I said, the food WAS good. AND, the ambience [at least in the bar area, stay away of the hotel-ballroom-like main dining area was nice. Just beware the nickel and dime charges that the waiter won 't be disclosing to you."
