"When I inquired about the reason for this decision, I was told that I had guests visiting on Sunday who allegedly entered without paying, and that their children had caused a mess and been disruptive. I was told that other patrons in nearby cabanas were complaining about the situation. I attempted to clarify that this could not have been me, as I was actually several hours away in upstate New York.
On Monday, I did bring in guests, but they were older adults who certainly didn't cause any mess or noise. It was clear to me that there had been a mix-up regarding my identity. Unfortunately, despite my efforts to explain the situation, they refused to listen. To my disbelief, they even threatened to involve the police.
Ironically, when those guests return this season, it will be obvious that the complaints were not about me at all, but rather a case of mistaken identity. A simple conversation could have cleared up this misunderstanding, but sadly, they chose not to hear my side of the story."
