"I recently ordered the Sole Meuniere from this restaurant, and it was a major disappointment. The dish was so overly salty that it made the whole meal nearly inedible. I had high hopes, especially given the restaurant's good reputation, but this experience was far from satisfying. To make matters worse, the side dish was baffling. I was shocked to receive just three small potatoes, which hardly seemed like an adequate accompaniment for a dish priced at $28. It felt like a mere afterthought, and the lack of creativity and generosity in portion size really made me question the value for money. The cost of this meal was simply not justifiable considering the quality and quantity served. I had been eager to try this place, but after this experience, I can say with certainty that I won’t be returning. It’s disappointing when a restaurant with a good reputation falls short of expectations, and this was a perfect example. Save your money and your taste buds; there are much better dining options available."

This is definitely one of the top three burgers in the area—no doubt about it.

Burger used to be bad but now it bangs. Go solo to get a bar seat or get a resy.

I really enjoy this restaurant, whether for take-out or dining in. The Little Gem Wedge is packed with blue cheese and is prepared and dressed just like a traditional iceberg wedge should be.

This is one of my all-time favorite restaurants! The steak is incredible, but I was disappointed to see that they changed the menu for the new year and removed one of the best dishes, the chicken piccata. I really hope they bring it back!

This place has the best happy hour in the area! The vodka martinis ($10) are fantastic, and the burger with fries ($10) was also excellent. The atmosphere and decor are very stylish and comfortable, even the bar stools. The bartender was friendly and attentive, and I loved the unique postcard that came with the bill. I will definitely be returning! View menu

The service was quite rude. When I inquired about the soup special, the waiter replied, “What do you want me to say? It’s just soup!” I then ordered a burger and fries, but after waiting 45 minutes, I asked the same waiter for an estimated time on my order. He responded, “It’s not my job to inform you when the food will arrive.” At that point, I decided to leave.

I want so badly for this to be my favorite Williamsburg restaurant. The vibes are 10/10, the music is great, the staff is nice, the drinks are good and the people I love all love the burger. I just wish they just would make a few more nods to vegetarians or people who don’t eat red meat but want to dine with people who do!! A veggie burger? The ability to add a protein like salmon or fried chicken to the hippie salad? This would make Cozy Royale a slam dunk!!
