"This was our first visit to Comedor. It was recommended by my boss, and we were celebrating my husband's birthday. I absolutely loved the atmosphere, service, drinks, and food. I ordered the Salmon with Manchego and truffle oil risotto, while my husband had the Kan Kan chuletas. Both dishes were amazing! Special thanks to Sasha, our waitress, who was attentive, charming, and helped us with recommendations for cocktails and entrees. Definitely a hidden gem."

"Since it was the last day of York's Restaurant Week, I decided to try one of their special offerings: the black and bleu buffalo burger. It was cooked perfectly and looked great on the plate. I think this dish should be added to the regular menu, though I realize they already have a lot of options. The price was reasonable too—just $12 for the burger and fries. The menu listed coleslaw as the side, but I received fries instead. While this is a minor issue, they should have at least informed me; I still would have ordered it, but servers should be fully transparent. Our server was fantastic—attentive and made us feel welcome. I'm glad we had one of the good ones. My fiancée ordered the turkey and Swiss croissant sandwich along with the cream of potato soup of the day. She absolutely loved the sandwich, telling me repeatedly that it was "fire." Considering she's very picky, this was a big win; I finally took her somewhere where she didn't just say "it's fine." She enjoyed the soup as well. Overall, this restaurant is a reliable staple in York City—a great spot for breakfast, lunch, or dinner where you know you won't be disappointed. They do have a few quirks, but the quality of the food consistently leaves me feeling satisfied and happy."

"Went for an early dinner here while in RI. We got the bruschetta appetizer which was really good. Three nice size pieces. We had chicken parmigiana and fettuccine Alfredo with shrimp. Both were really good. Portions were a nice size. Our server was Leah and she was amazing. She was on top of things and we never had to ask for anything she was there to provide it. There were a lot of regulars it seemed at the bar. It was early so not really too busy. Would definitely recommend this place and go back again when in town."

"Pure Kitchen is my favorite restaurant! I've been eating here at least once a week for the past few months, if not more. The food is always delicious and very affordable. I highly recommend the chicken basil tacos, diving and chips, pork salad, steamed dumplings, and the salad-wrapped pork or stew. "We love coming here for birthdays, when family is in town, and on date nights! The service and waitstaff is always stellar. Our server JR did an exceptional job taking care of me and my fiancé for his birthday. Their cocktail menu is creative and will always have something perfect for you; I usually do the Always Lucky martini or the Bee’s Knees but I’ve tried others and they’re just as killer! The vibe is always on point and the food is so delicious. Our favorites are the homemade tortellini, literally any veal platter, the calamari calabrese, and the chicken vesuvio. So many yummy dessert options if you have a sweet tooth like us—we love the Tollhouse cookie skillet, chocolate cake, tiramisu and carrot cake. I love coming here and I’m always surprised to see reviews that share negative experiences during a pandemic, when restaurants are doing everything they can to stay afloat, keep staff on board, keep affordable pricing for their customers despite skyrocketing costs for the business owners, and keep their customers happy. We value places like Club Lucky that do their best in these difficult times."

"During my stay at the hotel, I enjoyed breakfast at the Quest Restaurant Bar multiple times, always leaving satisfied. One evening, we arrived at the hotel late and decided to have dinner at the restaurant, and we were delighted with our choice. We ordered grilled pork chops served with broccolini, baby carrots, mashed potatoes, and an apple black plum compote. Despite not typically being a fan of pork, I found the dish to be incredibly delicious, especially the apple and black plum compote. I even suggested they bottle and sell it separately. After complimenting the meal, the waiter brought out the chef, Mark, who was friendly and willing to answer my questions. With such excellent food and service, it was hard to consider dining elsewhere. Apologies for the lack of photos in this review - I dug in before remembering to take a picture."

"Regarding the sides, the mac and cheese was decent, and the baked beans were acceptable, but the fresh-cut fries were soggy and limp. One member of our group ordered a full rack of ribs, corn on the cob, and mashed potatoes. While the meat was somewhat decent, it could have been much better. Although the ribs were smoked, they lacked flavor unless you added sauce, and there was no seasoning rub at all. On the plus side, the meat was tender. Ultimately, I decided to return my two-meat platter in favor of a full rack instead. I wouldn't recommend the margarita, but the lemonade was enjoyable, though a bit too sweet—adding a splash of water made it better. The service was commendable. Overall, I believe the meal wasn't worth the price we paid; it probably was worth only about half of that amount. You might have a better experience at a chain like Dickie’s BBQ."

"Was looking forward to Carls and it was such a disappointment unfortunately. Front of house were friendly and happily moved us from the table by the entrance to a less draughty spot when we asked. Server was smiley and took our order efficiently. That 's where the good part ended sadly. Ordered Buffalo Wings, Rotisserie Chicken Sandwich and 2 'Medium ' Burgers. Wings were tough. The chicken tasted old, definitely not fresh rotisserie. The end of the baguette was also hard again not fresh. Our 2 medium burgers arrived well done and rare. The server didn 't check in to see how the food was .... (maybe she knew! We offered our thoughts when asked if wanted more drinks. Solution offered was to put the rare burger back on the grill. Not ideal. No discount offered. I know it 's coming to the end of the season but this is fundamental stuff. Won 't be returning or recommending this place unfortunately."

"I typically hesitate to write reviews for local businesses, but I feel compelled to share my experience after ordering a chicken Caesar wrap. Previously, I had a delicious turkey wrap from this place that was definitely worth the money. However, today’s chicken Caesar wrap was disappointing. It only had four thin strips of chicken and an excessive amount of lettuce, making it feel more like a lettuce wrap with a little chicken on top. If you decide to visit, I advise against ordering the chicken Caesar wrap—you might end up with something like what I received, and it costs around $12. I also requested onions, but they forgot that too. On a positive note, the cashier was very pleasant, so that was a plus."

"If I could, I would give this place a zero-star rating. I ordered through Grubhub, and when the food arrived, it was drenched in oil—so much so that it was completely soaked. I took one bite and immediately felt nauseous, ultimately throwing the entire meal away. After I complained about the unacceptable food on Grubhub, the owner started calling me repeatedly while I was at work, spamming my phone until I finally answered. I received more than ten calls before I decided to block the number. To make matters worse, he then sent me text messages insulting my character, saying I wasn't a man for not wanting to answer the phone or meet him in person. This establishment deserves to be shut down due to its rude and obnoxious owner."

"Valley Inn has excellent food and service. The main room is a throw back to another era which has that nostalgic feel. The menu is limited, but great if you like red meat. I don't eat red meat and my wife likes meat that is braised. Very limited for the both of us. With a limited menu, they do those dishes very well. My roast duck was excellent and my wife had an end cut of prime rib. The other thing we noticed is that all the prices where very high from years past. If you are going, you need to know that. It seems not an issue since the place was packed. So, my recommendation would be limited but a yes for a specific clientele."

"One star, because this is not about the food. Food is great, service is the problem. Ordered online, because I was on my way to far east Tulsa to a pot luck dinner. Money $20.06) was taken immediately, before I realized that it was WEST Tulsa location. I am in midtown, going east. Called immediately and was told I needed to call Grubhub. Told the woman I did not order through Grubhub, it was for pick-up. She was I still needed to call Grubhub. Okay, so I called Grubhub and was told they did not have my order. Even spoke with a supervisor, José. He was very nice, but verified they did not have the order. Called back Charlie's Chicken, and got the same woman trying to get me to call Grubhub. Had to yell to get her to listen to me. Advised that I had called Grubhub, they don't have my order, and I just want to cancel and get my money back. Finally, she said she would cancel my order and it would be refunded immediately. This is only the beginning of a HUGE problem! This all takes place on 12/27/2022. It is now 1/6/2023, and I have not seen hide nor hair of my money. I did get a call from the woman who handled this at the store, but still no name or money refunded. I just want my $20.06 refunded. I went to KFC and got wonderful, fresh chicken for my pot luck, and it only cost me two cents more. But I digress, I STILL HAVE NOT RECEIVED MY REFUND FROM CHARLIE'S CHICKEN WEST TULSA. I don't know what else to do. I have notified the administration at Charlie's Chicken west Tulsa, to no avail. I have notified the Better Business Bureau of Tulsa. No one seems to care, but I want my money back. I feel like I have been stolen from by Charlie's Chicken west Tulsa. I did not pick up the order, canceled it before it was prepared, it was not delivered to me. Do not order from this location unless you have money to just give them for nothing. Very disappointed in the lack of attention to this matter."

"My wife and I wanted to try Saba's Bistro as we had read many favorable reviews on line and in local press, and we have fond memories of the Saba family's Charcoal House. We made reservations for our wedding anniversary, making note of the occasion on our Open Table request.When we arrived, the restaurant was empty except for employees. The waitress greeted us and said we could sit anywhere. We seated ourselves, and she asked, Are you the ones with the reservation? We said we were, and that was the last that was said of it. No recognition that we were celebrating our anniversary. What's the point of noting an occasion on the reservation request if the restaurant doesn't care?As we read our menus, a guy came in and started to set up for, we thought, a musical act. It turned out to be a painting class held at long tables in the middle of the restaurant floor. During dinner hours! I don't know if that was a factor, but it took a very long time to get our orders. The waitress came to the table twice to say it wouldn't be much longer, but it was.All this might be forgivable if the food had been spectacular, but it was rather ordinary. The steaks were good but not good enough to justify the prices. Some of the sides were cold as though they had been waiting on the plates for the steaks be ready. No salad was included, and there were very few options for sides. Forks and butter knives were already on the tables in little crocks for guests to help themselves rather than being delivered to each party or set out rolled in napkins. They were exposed to the air and to who knows how many people who may have rummaged through them before we got there. Seems a bit unsanitary for an affectation that doens't improve the dining experience.There are too many good steak houses around Toledo to justify driving here from Michigan for a disappointing experience"

"Excellent birthday dinner. Visited with a reservation at 7pm on 9/9/23. Waiter did not introduce himself (it was a very busy night), but I want to thank him for his excellent service!!! Tony (I assume) seated us and wished us a good evening when we left. Kind, attentive, and respectful of not being overbearing, the service was perfect. The Chicken Rittoli with pesto was delicious! Perfectly cooked chicken and housemate pesto was so fresh. My house salad with house Italian dressing, and my spouse's wedding soup, we're both great starters to the mean. Spouse order a Chicken Parmasean, which instantly became his top ever Chicken Parm dish he's ordered. Waiter went out of his way to find us a half bottle of an Italian Chianti for the evening, which was well priced and matched our meals well. Asked for a lemoncello dessert shot, which was a great digestivo for the end of the meal. 5 star experience. We were bummed to find out the patio did not have dinner service on a beautiful September Saturday night, but Tony made sure we were seated at an intimate table right next to the patio doors so we could enjoy the ambiance. Perfect!"
