"For many years, ever since I first started working in Little Neck, Toskana has been my go-to spot for both lunch and dinner. Even after moving to Little Neck, it was always a convenient stop for a bite to eat before heading home from work in the city. One of my habits is to pay my bill immediately after placing my order, so I don’t have to worry about it later.
However, there was one occasion when I paid my bill before being served, enjoyed my meal as usual, and then grabbed my backpack to head home. Just about 25 steps outside the restaurant, someone from the pizzeria literally chased after me, claiming I hadn’t paid my bill! It turned out that someone had forgotten that I had already paid before eating, and I never received an apology for this mistake. I was shocked and greatly disappointed because I had never experienced such an issue with them—or anyone else—before! I always pay my bills and had never had a problem until that day.
In the days following that incident, I ended up dining at another pizzeria further down Northern Blvd. So, if you do dine at Toskana Pizzeria, I strongly recommend that you request a receipt before settling down to enjoy your meal!"
