You sit down at your local diner and see a group of 10 kids come in, order only 2 orders of fries to share, and then leave without leaving a tip for the server. Parents should do a better job teaching their children about the importance of tipping and treating others with respect. It's not right to treat servers like they don't matter. "I visited the Deli for Father's Day, and it was surprisingly empty. We were seated at a broken table that wobbled, so we relocated to another table that was slightly better, but we had to grab chairs from a different table because there weren't enough at ours. I hadn't been to the Deli in about a year, and I noticed that the prices have gone up, while the portion of meat in the sandwiches has shrunk, and the quality of the meat has declined as well. For dessert, we ordered a brownie with ice cream, only to find out they were out of brownies. We then requested cookies with sprinkles, but there were none available either. In the end, we opted for some mini-danish pastries, which tasted stale, as if they were a day old, despite being offered at a discount."

Not only were the employees polite and accommodating, but the delivery man went above and beyond when faced with an empty house. He secured the food safely and promptly called me with the location of the food. My friend and her family enjoyed the sandwiches immensely. I highly recommend the Preakness Deli."

"The food is average. The menu has not been updated in years. No greeter when you walk in, a small paper sign states to seat yourself but if you attempt to do so, usually an employee appears and not so kindly directs you where to sit. After you receive your food, you are lucky if the waitress refills your drink and the dinner rolls are cold and stale. The worst happens after you receive the check, which usually comes quickly: you are expected to take the check up to the cashier by the door where you are not asked how your meal was or even kindly greeted. The only thing they ask you is if you want to add a tip and when done they do not even say have a nice day or come again . This plays really bombs in customer service. It is those small things that make all the difference."

"The woman at the counter was friendly, but she didn't seem fully engaged. The food I had was delicious, but my fiancé's pizza was a bit too doughy, even though it was well-prepared for what it was. The wait for our food felt a bit long, and my fiancé's pizza arrived only warm rather than hot. The interior of the restaurant was quite plain; some background music would have been a nice touch instead of the news that was playing. At $38, the meal felt a bit pricey for what we received. Despite this, we’re likely to return."

"My friend has been insisting I try the cheesecake here, so I wanted to come and have the full experience. I saw the Russian dressing praised in other reviews and decided I needed to try it, so I had the corned beef and pastrami combo. Honestly, I didn't taste a difference between the two. I've definitely had better versions of both. The Russian dressing was good, but it was much thicker and less sweet than I am used to! I tried the devil's food cheesecake and concluded that I still don't like the flavor of cheesecake, but the consistency was good. It broke apart on the fork easily. The best thing was the oreo milkshake. It was perfect."

"Bajis is a very quaint cafe on Old Middlefield, next to many car repair shops. I have come to always associate fixing my car and coming here for brunch/ lunch if its a quick fix. The restaurant is spacious, clean, and gives off a warm feeling. The staff is enthusiastic and kind. I had the omelett, pancakes, and milk shake, which are all stellar. The steak as expected is not going to be as scrumptious as at an expensive steakhouse. I sat in the outside area with my dog and was pleased to see they had radiators for warmth. While nice to have, the lights can get a little too bright/ hot for comfort. Overall I can highly recommend this place!"

"Stopped in for lunch today and Wow! I got the personal pepperoni pizza for $6.99 and my husband had the Ruben with fries for $6.99. Both came with our choice of canned soda. When our lunches arrived at our table we were awed by the size. My personal pizza was 10.5 inches in diameter vs. the typical 6 inches, providing 6 good sized slices. And, the taste--wow. Great sauce, nice crust and tons of cheese. Look at the picture below and how much cheese is on that slice. And, that's the regular amount, not extra cheese! My husband's Ruben was huge and stuffed with corned beef with tasty homemade sauerkraut. The fries were crisp and was equivalent to probably three large orders of fries at a chain burger joint. Both of us were only able to eat half of our lunch. They must be used to this because the lady who took our order came around when we were about done, offering take-home boxes. Mannino's has beer on tap and also sells beer to go with a nice selection of domestic and foreign beers. The menu is extensive, covering 5 pages. Though mainly Italian, it offers some Mexican dishes and a Cuban sandwich which a friend told me was super. They also have seafood platters and a kids menu. Be sure to take a menu with you for the coupons. Great food, great service, friendly people. We will be back."

"When it comes to breakfast, I typically go traditional am not looking for anything fancy. This place fits that bill. It's a shabby little diner with a cozy feel to it...it's cute. My husband's go to for breakfast is an omelet...he got the Denver omelet and I got bacon and eggs with hashbrowns, both standard choices. Our food was good, it came out in a timely manner and the service was friendly. The prices were in line with other places we've gone (I'm not talking Denny's grand slam or McDonald's prices). All in all we enjoyed it and have nothing to gripe about."

"We had an outstanding visit at Trio Bistro last night! Amanda, our server, was really upbeat and knowledgable about the menu. She suggested the Crab Cakes, and we also ordered the Steak Frites. Both were wonderful- the steak a perfect medium rare, and the crab cakes were really flavorful with more crab than bread crumbs. I definitely recommend this restaurant!"

I waited for 45 minutes to visit, and even then I had to ask someone if I was a ghost, because apparently the waiter at each one table around me, except me. when I finally got the confirmation that I was not in the mood, I was taken in the ground the “sucks to be them” attitude. do not go here if they actually want to eat or drink. also the sound system sucks on there. I visited a radio remote control and the radio hosts can hardly hear."

"I just spent $27 on a two-egg breakfast special with biscuits and gravy, and I'm really disappointed. This was only my second time ordering from this place in all the years I've lived nearby, and I regret it. I won’t be coming back—unless they get new cooks or management, but even then, I'm not sure. People want to enjoy their meals, and unfortunately, the food was bland and disappointing. I wouldn’t recommend spending your money there until they prove they can do better."
