"This diner is fantastic! It's clean, respected, and overall very pleasant. The omelette could have had a bit more bacon, but the service was extremely quick and the portion size was perfect. The server was friendly and the atmosphere was quiet, making it a great spot to get work done. I will definitely be returning!"

"The setting felt private, and we weren't close enough to other diners to be disturbed by their conversations. The service was excellent, and the food was delicious. We had an early dinner, which was perfect for happy hour drinks from 3 to 5 PM. My mom's merry margarita was absolutely stunning—she took several photos of it! I ordered the meatloaf and enjoyed it so much that I decided to get one to go. The portions and prices were very reasonable. I will definitely book an igloo again in the future for my extended family!"

"I've been here for happy hour and liked the crowd and music as well as the drinks and appetizers, so I thought I would try out this evening meal. even if we made a reservation, there was no host to check with as soon as we came in, we had to ask two different bus boys and one waiter where we should go to sit and everyone seemed confused and we were finally sent up by someone and found an empty table and sat down. not a fan of layouts of space. all stands with real sitting facilities for dinner are reserved only for VIP sessions, as regular diner as my party eating dinner at the upper floor bar on hockern. not very comfortable. Moreover, the service was extremely slow. it seemed to be just a waitress who worked the whole upper area. it took forever to put only in our drink order. eating was okay, but not spectacular. I would never go back to dinner. the bar scene looked down and we first wanted to check it after dinner, but it took so long to order/pay for dinner that we just left after frustrated. if I go back, it'd be just for a happy hour."

"My mother and I tried Gaston’s today for the first time and it was a great experience! We started with the Baked French Onion the Lentil soup, which were both delicious. We then each got a salad.. which were incredible! The salad portions are HUGE, made with extremely fresh ingredients, served with a large side of dressing and a breadstick. My favorite part was the Mock Tail menu…perfect for expecting mamas like myself. The servers were very polite and personable, and the owner was extremely friendly. He introduced himself to us, and he made sure to touch down at every table. Thank you Gaston’s, we cannot wait to come back!"

"This place is always amazing ????. Stagg is very friendly and thorough and food is always good. They offer affordable menu items that are always freshly cooked. Many of their specialty items like their fruit cup, chili, cottage cheese, assortedbutters are always very fresh and you never have any issues with them being old or seeming as if they were prepared the daybefore. We ordered carry out today and the order was spot on. The waitress got everything right and gave us plenty of jelly,syrup, napkins etc. My husband and I have eaten in there as well and it's never been disappointing he loves their burger and itsalways cooked perfectly medium for him. I got the Rachel sandwich a twist on a rueben, I am usually not a big fan of rye bread,but the sandwich was awesome. They also have a dessert case when you walk in and they have some really tasty selections, we havegotten nutella stuffed cookies and canolis and all sorts of things, those also never disappointed us. They are only open from 6AM to 3 PM when they are open is the only thing that bums me out ! I wish they has longer hours since we work we only have theweekend to order out on Saturday. Overall a very good hole in the wall local place worth trying."

"We came here as a second choice after a funeral. They said they could accommodate our group size. We sat for an extremely long time just waiting for service. We ordered and waited a long time for our food. This place came highly recommended for lunch and while I understand breakfast is a new thing, I wasn?t impressed. I ordered a Philly Steak Omelet and I?m not sure why it came out with everything on top when it?s an omelet. Most of the food actually came out pretty cold. Our server was great once she started but the kitchen seemed to be real slow. I?d give it a chance for lunch but I don?t know if I?d return for breakfast."

"I used to come to Verde often a few years ago. Was only there dining outdoors once during COVID. This was my first time back in a few years. The menu was very different and the food was just ok. I am not sure I would come back. Nothing bad to say, just nothing great to say either. The food was very different than it used to be for a few of the same menu items and the new ones we tried were very ordinary. I prefer to spend my money when going out for a night on food that I really enjoy."

"As for the salad dressing, it was unbelievably gelatinous; I turned the bottle upside down, and it didn’t budge, resembling a Dairy Queen Blizzard. I ordered grilled chicken on my salad, and it was a disaster—charred on the outside and somehow raw or frozen on the inside, with a smell reminiscent of burning coal. I really can't understand how this place is still open. On a positive note, the servers were very friendly and kind, but unfortunately, the food was absolutely inedible."

"We used to frequent this restaurant from 2000-2010 and had a great experience. However, recently it has become more of a good bar than a restaurant. We have had several unsatisfactory experiences both before COVID and more recently. There have been instances where our entrees have come out much later than the rest of the dishes, ribs that were completely dried out, and other issues. The management always offers to fix the problem, but it is frustrating that the servers will still serve obviously poorly prepared dishes. It is not terrible, but the inconsistency is disappointing."

"My spouse and I enjoy dining at Max's, but it seems like they don't pay attention to their reservations. We had reserved a table for 5:00 and specifically requested standard seating instead of the bar area. However, when we arrived, they located our reservation, briefly searched in the dining room, and then a different staff member led us to a high-top table in the bar area. We were quite disappointed with this experience."

"Ordered takeout. Brought it home. Missing items. Conventional wisdom dictates that I do without, because after all, the missing items were a salad and a roll, or, call the restaurant, inform them of the error, return to the restaurant and pick up the missing items. I accept that...the first time, maybe even the second. When it becomes a habit... that 's when I draw the line. At the risk of sounding like a Karen, I can 't do it again. I returned the entire meal, including my husband 's pizza and daughter 's salad. The hostess then had the gall to dispute it because it was just a salad . If you can 't get it right the first time (on multiple occasions) then I 'm just not gonna was my time and money. Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice...well, I won 't even dine in again."

(There was one end peace of a loaf sitting on the counter not even in its bag) we were celebrating my birthday and after we told her that there was a table next to use who got a piece of cake and candles for someone else’s birthday and we did not receive anything for my birthday."

"if you miss your grandma's best cooking this place is the place to go. I don't think there is a better restaurant in the area within 50 miles. The food, is top quality. You can tell that they seek out the best ingredients to make everything they do. The portion size is very large and you will definitely have leftovers. Anything you order is just like the best homemade meal you ever ate. The staff is very kind and friendly and just all-around good people."
