"Deitsch Eck is a great place to get a filling Pennsylvania Dutch meal after a day of hiking at the Pinnacle. Located a short distance from interstate 78 in the quaint town of Lenhartsville, the restaurant is decorated with hex signs. The atmosphere was great and the food very good. Our server was very nice and took the time to explain one of the decorations but it was very busy. The gravy on the breaded veal cutlets was very tasty and the fresh cut fries were delicious. The menu offered a lot of options but the kitchen was out of a few things. Parking was also a little tight due to location on the corner Very nice experience."

"Food was OK. Customer service was good. I had the lobster ravioli it wasn't as hot as it could be. Sauce was good but the ravioli itself was just okay. Mussel linguine special was pretty good though. Salad and soup comes with your order so it's a nice surprise. The clam appetizer was just okay and tasted a bit fishy. I do like the bacon on it though. Tiramisu was decent."

"What a great place to dine in Friendswood. We enjoyed our meals, had great service, and felt the pricing was fair. There's a great variety of offerings, so a family should be able to find something for everyone. I had the crusted salmon and it was delicious. My companions had crab cakes, pork tenderloin kabobs, and the soup of the day- creamy zucchini and spinach soup. It sounds weird, but was delicious; if you happen to be here on a day it's served, you must try it. Better than you expect! Our server was friendly, helpful, and attentive. Don't miss this restaurant- it is well worth the drive!"

"We had just finished stroller hiking all day on the Sojourn Truth Park, New Paltz, Trailhead section of the Wallkill Valley Rail Trail and searched Trip Advisor for a place for dinner. We picked P&G due to high ratings and their menu but were afraid it may be an all college crowd as we had two children with us, one needing a high chair. We arrived on a Friday and it was busy but we peeked in and could see at the entrance a stack of clean high chairs and inside we could see every age group represented. The wait staff are really high energy and we were greeted and seated instantly with a high chair at a huge booth. Kids menus (with modern characters like Olaf and kids crayons were placed as we sat and drinks were brought out immediately. Great music and college atmosphere. The specials and regular menu had such great items it was hard to choose. We ordered kids meals and spinach and artichoke dip appetizer first. A bit of a wait coming out but when it did the dip was huge (see pic) and was awesome and the kids loved their kids meals: mac and cheese (pic) and grilled cheese. We loved the kids meal prices! We ordered French onion soups and Mack Truck burger melts. French onion soup in cheese covered croc was amazing and soup wasn’t scalding hot like so many restaurants serve. Plating for our burgers was perfect and the onion rings were awesome with an amazing dipping sauce and sweet potato fries done perfectly. Meat temperature done “medium” was also spot on. We had one really great waitress who checked on us regularly but there were two other waitresses working nearby and they all covered for each other so the second we looked up needing anything, another drink or napkin, the others saw and brought it immediately. Our 1 year old daughter randomly throws her toys and whips crayons off her high chair which is embarrassing and each time she did one of the three picked the items up before we could. P&G is almost an hour from our house but was so great and the business district so nice we are already planning on heading back. Highly recommend!!"

"I discovered this restaurant through the American Airlines dining program. When I saw a picture of the exterior adorned with American flags, my heart swelled as an Army veteran, so I was eager to give it a try. Upon arriving, I noticed a miniature firefighter boot in the lobby, which resonated with me as a retired firefighter—it gave me a great impression of the place. I ordered the French toast, which was around $5, and a hot tea for $2.25. The food was good, although I had requested no powdered sugar. I did find the prices a bit on the higher side, but that seems to be the norm these days everywhere we go."

"So. I went to this restaurant on a Wednesday at the recommendation of a local patron who also accompanied me and assured me from his past experiences that this was a fantastic food experience/establishment. To start of I will say the owner who greeted us was very nice and accommodating as well as most of the staff. However the food left something to be heavily desired. I started with the tomato caprese salad. The tomato was not yet ripe at all to be served also the amount of oil that was on this plate pretty much was drowning the mozzarella and tomato. I ordered the mushroom ravioli for my mains ,and this was where things completely ruined the whole dinner. The whole dish was sweet. I have had mushroom ravioli at other establishments ,and one thing I can conclude is that nothing about that dish should be that sweet. I mean form the sauce to the balsamic to the mushroom. The whole dish was sweet and not savory at all. It blew my mind that pasta could taste that sweet. I couldn 't stand to eat anymore then a few bites, and my companion who is a regular patron of this establishment had the rest of pasta ,and even he concluded this was the worst dish that he has had from here. I tired giving them one more chance with the dessert ,and had the best north of Miami key lime pie. The pie was actually fairly decent. The filling could have been more firm and the pie crust as well, however that can be overlooked understandably as I am presuming the desserts are not made on a daily basis. Here is where this bad dinner went to go on and become a horrible night and following day. Not even 5 minutes after leaving the restaurant I began sweating profusely ,and requested for the car to be pulled over. I immediately threw up for the next 5 minutes. I dropped of my friend back to his place and went on to my hour drive back home. As soon as I got back home I threw up once again in my driveway. That night my stomach and bowels were so messed up I managed only 3 hours of sleep. Will not be coming back ever."

"Here's a rewritten version of the restaurant review: --- This was our second visit, and unfortunately, it didn't go well. We had a disappointing experience with the crab cake before Mother's Day, but we decided to give the place another chance for Saturday brunch. Unfortunately, our server Gianna forgot to take my order. I had to remind her that I hadn’t been served, and by that time, everyone else had already received and finished their meals. When the manager checked in on us, I mentioned that I hadn’t received my order. He quickly went to check on it. About five minutes later, someone brought me my food, but it was cold—except for the home fries. I didn’t see Gianna again until the end of the meal when she asked how everything was. I replied that it was cold and late, and asked for a box and some coffee. She offered to heat it up, but it didn’t make sense since everyone else was finished eating. A little later, the manager returned with the box and coffee. By that point, it was too late for coffee, so I decided to just take the box. This was supposed to be a birthday brunch for my stepson, and we’re now ready to move on. We'll be sticking with Starlight Diner from now on; they always get it right."

"We visited this restaurant for the first time, and the food was outstanding. While the bill was on the higher side, it was absolutely justified given the quality of the food in the area. The dessert was also fantastic. Despite being busy in the kitchen, they managed to serve our meals in a timely manner. The bartender went above and beyond, and we can't forget the waitress, who not only kept our spirits high with her sense of humor but also provided excellent service. We will definitely be returning to enjoy the same incredible food and service again. It’s truly deserving of a 5-star rating."

"Good food good atmosphere. Staff training is obviously very important to the management team Our waiter had a list of like a dozen specials that he delivered perfectly while also explaining what the fancy Italian names mean. Only criticism was one of our beers was expired on bottle. I am sure it was an innocent mistake caused by a shut down and lower diner volumes. Tasted fine only noticed after seeing this at other restaurants. Overall great experience id recommend going."

"Finally stopped in this place, the parking lot is always packed so I've been wondering what it's all about. The food and the service is fantastic and that's what they're all about. It's just really quality food in a clean, nice, large diner with really attentive polite service. Our server Liz was awesome and made sure that our little one got her food very quickly as she was very hungry and getting cranky. My wife and I ordered some soups, some hot n honey wings, and a wedge salad. Everything was great, the wings were only 10.99 too which is a great deal these days, and they were big plump wings! Sauce on them was awesome. Wedge salad really hit the spot, haven't had one of those in a while. Everything was cooked great and executed properly. It's simple food, but it was delicious. We will be back for sure!!!"

"I ordered shrimp scampi. I wouldn't order it again. I couldn't taste any garlic which in my opinion should be the center if this dish. My fellow diners raved about their food and said its was excellent. The owner, Luigi came by and personally greetus and was very friendly. The staff was very friendly. I am sure if I ordered something else I would have been happier. Myfellow diners could not stop raving about their dinner."
