"The food is average. The menu has not been updated in years. No greeter when you walk in, a small paper sign states to seat yourself but if you attempt to do so, usually an employee appears and not so kindly directs you where to sit. After you receive your food, you are lucky if the waitress refills your drink and the dinner rolls are cold and stale. The worst happens after you receive the check, which usually comes quickly: you are expected to take the check up to the cashier by the door where you are not asked how your meal was or even kindly greeted. The only thing they ask you is if you want to add a tip and when done they do not even say have a nice day or come again . This plays really bombs in customer service. It is those small things that make all the difference."

"This used to be our favorite place in college, and taking a trip down memory lane, it did not disappoint! We came on a Monday night in the summer and were some of the only people here. Our server was fantastic and fast. We hardly had to wait for drinks and food. We had the pulled pork potachos, which were crispy and loaded with pulled pork. They were a tad on the spicy side. Both my husband and I enjoyed our bolis. He had the super regular size, I had the meatball and eggplant baby boli combo. I found the combo to be the perfect size with the appetizer, and we ended up taking food home. Don’t come here expecting fine dining, but it’s fantastic bar food at a price that’s hard to beat. Can’t wait to come back! Vegetarian options: Many Stromboli options for vegetarians, and they also have a build your own boli you can make vegetarian."

"I recently had the best pizza I've had in a long time at this restaurant. The fresh ingredients really make a difference, and I can confidently say that this is my favorite pizza place now. If you didn't know about it before, now you do. I highly recommend checking them out. The service, food quality, and atmosphere all receive a top rating of 5. "I just ate there on my lunch break. The food was good, could use a little more sauce. That might have been the best part of the experience. The staff isn't rude but there was this one waitress doesn't seem to know how to talk to people. I had gotten a wrap and so did my friend. It comes with fries. The man behind me needed ketchup, I had ketchup on my table. I hear her tell him she needs to get him another ketchup because the bottle she had was out. Now instead of asking if we were finished with the ketchup, she reaches over my food to grab it and give it to him. Now for me that's rude. I still had fries on my plate and so did my friend. At that point i stopped eating because I don't like that. She brings the check and neither of us had empty plates. When she grabs my friends plate the waitress put her napkin in her plate so if she wanted to take it to go, at that point we couldn't. After she did that is when she saw my plate and asked me if I wanted to take it to go. My friend had more food on her plate then I did... At that point I was over it but now when it comes to charging they made a mistake, had to void and redo it. I'm not so upset about that because I saw it wasn't the older ladies fault, she was having issues with the machine prior. Instead of charging the difference I now have to wait a couple days to receive it back. It was my second time there. The first time was nice. This time not so much but maybe I'll give it another chance and change the review but as for now. That was my experience. It's all about service for me."

"Literally the worst food I can remember, sinse I have been going out to eat with my husband for the last 23 years. The falafel wrap was old and stale. The french fries were several stages of burned, dried and cold. My husband's chicken piccata was literally crunchy, as though it was a pressed together pattie made from chcken gristle and the noodles were inedibly vinegary. No one offered to do anything about the food, except present us with a $55. bill $10 was for a relatively short fill glass of white wine and $4 was for microwaved according to the waitress) cup of mediterranean coffee. We really wanted to love the place to have somewhere nice to go in downtown Kent on a regular basis.....DEFINITELY NOT THE PLACE!"

"We’ve eaten here a few times and the food was always cooked well, taste good and waitress staff have always been friendly. We were just there last week before Wolf shut down the diners again. The waitresses were very upset by this shutdown right before Christmas. We left them a larger than usual tip but we are sure it wouldn’t be hardly enough for them. It’s easy access to Route 15 and if you want the taste of home cooking this is the right stop! Enjoy"

"The new owners have really transformed this place! They've done a fantastic job updating the old, outdated decor while maintaining the nostalgic 50's diner atmosphere. One of the fun new features is a juke box that includes a free photo booth, which we enjoyed immensely! But the highlight has to be the AMAZING MILKSHAKES! Honestly, they are the best I've ever tasted, and I can't resist them — I'm always craving their deliciousness (plus, you can even get them spiked, which is a bonus). So far, I've tried the s'mores and berry shakes; they weren't overly sweet and had the perfect texture. The food is also fantastic and very affordable. I couldn't even finish the personal pizza, and it was only $5! I also had the galaxy cocktail, which was not only beautiful but also delicious. I definitely plan on returning — I'm so excited to have a new favorite spot near my home!"

"Arrived at 7:30 pm. Still waiting for food at 9:15. We were told we had a 25 minute wait when we arrived. The same host who gave us the 25 minute wait seated us one hour later. The restaurant had emptied nearly 3/4 of the customers before we decided to go elsewhere then the host seated us and declared there would be a longer than usual wait for the food. We are waiting at 9:15pm. The food just arrived. 9:40, finished eating 10 minutes ago. Never came by to fill our drink glasses and the empty dishes have been on the table over 10 minutes and I think we are going to have to ask for the check, they will not bring it unless we ask for it. Terrible experience overall. Will not come back, very disappointed."

"Ordered country fried shrimp and a full rack of ribs for dinner for takeout. Got home, the shrimp is just plain deep-fried shrimp, the fries were cold on both orders, and there was only a half rack of ribs when I paid for a full. When I called, the woman was very apologetic, And said if I could bring the ribs back, she would give me the correct order. The problem is, we had planned a nice dinner on the patio for a Saturday afternoon. And of course, in the time it took me to go all the way back to the restaurant, wait for them to finish the order, and drive back, my wife was done eating , and so I would just sit and eat ribs by myself. And while there was an apology on the phone, the attitude when I got there seemed to be that it wasn’t a big deal. It is. We won’t be coming back."

"We had dinner here yesterday at my wife's request and I was blown away by how fantastic everything was. It was our first time here, it will not be the last.We had the Calamari for the appetizer. It was done perfectly. The sweet pickled peppers and parmasean were a nice added flavor.We decided on just going with the night specials for dinner.I had the steak and garlic parmasean fries. It was done fantastically. The steak had a unique sauce on top and the fries were just incredible.My wife, on the other hand, had the other house special which was chicken bacon tortellini. It was the absolute most delicious meal ive ever tasted. My wife preferred the steak and we switched. I loved it.We loved everything so much we had dessert. Tirimusu and blueberry crumble cheesecake. Both were goodThe atmosphere was classy, quiet. A bunch of rooms and different areas made it seem very low key and not crowded, though there was a good bit of people there.Our service was always very good. Attentive, knowledgeable about the offerings. Not overly hovering.Would definitely recommend and hope other people give it a try!"

"The salads were just iceberg lettuce from a bag and not very appetizing; she took a few bites while I managed to eat almost half out of hunger. About 40 minutes later, our food finally arrived, but the rolls were still missing. The waitress brought me an empty bottle of 57 sauce. My steak was tough and completely unseasoned, just tasting like plain meat. Hers was charred on the outside and difficult to cut, though it was somehow pink in the middle. Additionally, her gravy had developed a skin from sitting out so long while we waited for the steaks. We reminded the waitress about the rolls and pointed out the empty bottle of 57, which I felt I needed to make my steak edible. She returned with another EMPTY bottle of 57. My loaded baked potato looked unappetizing, and I didn’t even touch it. By the time the rolls finally arrived, we had both lost our appetite. We asked for the check, left most of our food on the table, and ended up spending $80 with only a $6 tip (which felt awkward since I believe in tipping well). We walked out with our food untouched on the table, and I snapped a picture on the way out the door. Overall, it was an incredibly disappointing experience—what a sad situation for everyone involved."
